Re: AV 20 Spider Kikuchi vs. Susan Howard
Spider Kikuchi had been waiting for this opportunity for so long, she could scarcely believe it was really happening. She’d wanted this ever since she met Susan Howard, ever since the woman tore her to shreds in that sham of a practice match. The opportunity to make the redhead not only feel the same anguish she felt, but to feel it on the grandest stage of them all, to be shamed with all the world watching, to be given the beating she so thoroughly deserved. After Spider was through with her, he wouldn’t be able to even look at a ring without breaking down in tears.
It would also be the chance for her to truly shine on the greatest stage the AFW had to offer. She should’ve been here years ago, her talents should’ve been acknowledged and brought her to the main scene, but this was better late than never. After she demolished Susan, maybe that idiot Kingsley would realize that she was top tier talent and that she had every right to be in the title scene, not being used as a raining dummies for the incoming D-listers they seem so intent on filling the roster out with.
It was all good, and would’ve been perfect, save for one small, niggling detail about the match that she was having trouble coming to grips with.
”Why do I have to dress an elf?!”
This extremely poignant question was thrown at a stagehand in the gorilla position, just minutes before her match was set to start. Spider had been under the impression that this would be relatively mundane submission match, one that was suited to her particular tastes and skills. A showcase. That would make sense. But when did anything in the AFW make sense?
No, instead, it turned out to be a Christmas themed match, one with candy canes and fake snoke and wrapped presents all around the ring, needless bric-a-brac. And if that weren’t enough - and it certainly was - Spider had been told, also at the minute, that she was required to dress in a ‘naughty elf’ outfit, which consisted of red and white striped stocking, a hideous green tunic, even more hideous green shoes with bells on the tips, and an idiotic green hat
”What kind of stupidity is this?” She swung around the outfit on its hanger, while she loomed large over the meek stagehand who’d given it to her.
”It’s an elf.” The stagehand squeaked and shrugged. ”You know, they live at the North Pole, and-”
”I know what an elf is, you idiot!” She spat back. Literally. Spittle flew from her mouth and landed on the stagehand’s shoulder, who had a short conniption fit over it. ”What I don’t know, what I’m struggling to comprehend, is why I have to dress up like one!”
”Because it’s in your contract.”
Spider straightened up, tight lipped, her eyes narrowing to sharpened slits. ”No. No, it’s not.”
”Have you read your contract for this match?”
Spider sucked that tight lip in and nibbled on it. ”Of course I have, and I didn’t-”
The stagehand brought up the papers she’d be holding at her side - Spider had been wondering what those were - and handed them off to Spider, then made sure to step just out of her striking distance. ”Third paragraph, second page.”
She glared at the stagehand for a moment, before she went to the part and question and gave it at through reading. The truth was, she’d only skimmed the contract earlier, so eager to even have the match that she hadn't cared to give in a good combing, but now that she had, certain parts were sticking out to her. Like how this was a submission strip match, and the person who lost all their clothing would lose it all, how the wardrobe was to be provided by the company, and how failure to wear the designated wardrobe would result in a loss of all profits from the match itself.
And what did she have to say to all of that?
She turned and pointed to the back of her wrestler outfit, thumbing at it with the zipper. ”Help me get this off. The zipper gets stuck sometimes, and it’s a two person job.”
A few minutes later and Spider found herself in the ring, trying her best to ignore the crowd as she leaned in the corner, arms folded and her face a mask of malice. While she couldn’t do anything to silence these idiots now, she told herself that, by the time this was over, no one would be laughing.
Except her.

Re: AV 20 Spider Kikuchi vs. Susan Howard
At a glance, Susan’s pre-match preparation in the dressing room would not have seemed like anything out of the ordinary. She was in a Christmas-themed outfit, staring ahead into the mirror while she meticulously applied her makeup. But there was indeed something quite different about it tonight. It wasn’t just the fact that she was about to compete at Avalanche, the grandest stage in AFW, though the significance of that was certainly not lost on her. It also wasn’t simply because it was taking her even longer than normal to put her makeup on.
But it did have a lot to do with why it was taking so long…
Susan was still bruised from the beating Spider Kikuchi had given her. The biggest mark had been left by that wild punch, which had almost knocked the redhead unconscious on impact. Masking these imperfections with makeup hadn’t been easy. Each touch of the brush and each second her eyes lingered on her reflection served as constant reminders of what Spider Kikuchi did to her, of how that woman had ruined Susan’s triumphant debut by assaulting and humiliating her. That was the difference tonight. She wasn’t preparing like a model getting ready to wow a crowd. She was applying her makeup with the energy of a warrior readying for battle. A quiet rage exuded from her like some sort of radioactive energy, and it kept all the nearby stagehands a safe distance away. None made a sound, until…
“Um, Mrs. Howard… It’s time for your match…” a girl said, almost too quietly for the distance she stood from Susan. But she heard her, evidenced by a small smile that tugged at her lips.
“Well alright then. Let’s get this show started…”
By the time Kikuchi had entered the ring, Susan was arriving to the gorilla position. She couldn’t see her foe from here. But from the sounds of laughter that made their way to her ears, she guessed Spider was probably none too pleased with the outfit that had been chosen for her. That thought also brought a smile to Susan’s rosy lips. The idea of Kikuchi being embarrassed before the redhead even made it to the ring was nice, but she intended to make it much, much worse before all was said and done.
Her music began to play, and soon the laughter in the crowd was replaced with cheers and whistles as the Pin-Up Princess graced the stage! Her red shoes were styled the same as Kikuchi’s, but that was about where the similarities ended. While her foe had been given the elf costume, Susan had been given Mrs. Clause. Instead of a hat she wore a long, red hood lined with white fur. The bottom part of it hung over her shoulders and upper back like a cape, tied in front of her neck with a small red ribbon. Red gloves extended from her hands all the way up to her biceps. She had a matching miniskirt, and her beautiful legs were covered in golden thigh-high stockings. Her top was a gold corset covered in elegant, red floral designs. Completing the look was the large candy cane she used in place of an actual cane. Susan picked it up and began to dance to the beat of her music while making her way down the aisle. She smiled and winked at fans, stopped to make poses for those who wanted to take pictures on their phone. At one point she stopped by a few fans along the front row and leaned toward them.
“Wow, I can’t believe they’re making me fight The Grinch tonight!” she said with an exaggeratedly disgusted expression while pointing her thumb toward Kikuchi, which drew another pocket of laughs at the angry elf’s expense. The redhead carried on like this, having hardly progressed far at all down the ramp even after most of her entrance song had played. Odd behavior for someone coming into such a heated grudge match, but Susan had her reasons for it. Mainly, she wanted to piss off Kikuchi. She knew the woman had a short fuse, and it likely wouldn’t take long to get the reaction she wanted out of her...

Re: AV 20 Spider Kikuchi vs. Susan Howard
Spider Kikuchi hated Susan Howard. She hated everything about her. She hated that stupid, fake smile she had on for the fans, and the way they ate it up. She hated her stupid pin-up Jessica Rabbit gimmick. She hated the outfits she wore around all the time. She hated her hair, which was probably fake and dyed or something. She hated that her wrestling style seemed to be centered around squeezing things with her fat legs, and she really, really hated that it actually seemed to be working out well for her.
If she ticked off everything she hated about Susan Howard, she would have to use her fingers and toes for the count before she ran out. A pure, strong kind of hate, one that she thought couldn’t grow any worse.
Not until his moment.
It wasn’t enough for this woman to come out late, no, she had to make a show out of her entrance, just how to drag things out with her stupid dance and her stupid candy cane and...and…and
Spider Kikuchi was not know for her abundance of patience, and it took all of five seconds for what little reserves she had to run dry. Grumbling up a storm, she ducked down and rolled her way under the ropes, making her way to the outside of the ring. The second her feet touched the floor, she made a beeline for her opponent and lashed out, more than willing to literally slap some sense into the redhead and get the match started before she drove her insane.

Re: AV 20 Spider Kikuchi vs. Susan Howard
Susan’s mindset coming into this match wasn’t all that far off from Kikuchi’s, most likely. Their hatred was mutual and intense, and willing herself to put on this little performance when all the model wanted to do was storm to the ring and beat the shit out of her enemy was no easy task. But there were a few things about Kikuchi she had to respect. Namely, the woman was calculating and more experienced than Susan. If she had just gone into the ring and Spider had managed to dictate the pace, things probably wouldn’t go well for her. But if she could get the woman to make a mistake…
It was working, and hadn’t taken long either. Kikuchi had taken the bait, and was hurrying toward her like a spider after a fly that had been caught in its web. But Susan wasn’t the one flying into a trap here…
The moment her foe was on her, starting to lash out with her punch, Susan abruptly threw her giant candy cane aside and launched herself shoulder first right into Kikuchi’s midsection, seeking to tackle her down onto the ramp! The force of her charge sent them rolling together along the aisle toward the ring, and all the way down Susan struck and punched at her enemy’s head and face repeatedly, just trying to land as many shots as she possibly could!

Re: AV 20 Spider Kikuchi vs. Susan Howard
It was amazing, really. While this was hardly the first time Spider had ever lost her temper in a match, it was the first time such a thing had happened before the bell even rang. The bell hadn't even rung, and she was already of a mind to smack Susan’s face off the canvas and call it a day. And the way this stupid outfit made her legs itch wasn’t helping, either. The idiocy she had to deal with in this company…
Behind her, she could hear the referee - some idiot they’d convinced to dress up in a reindeer suit, complete with red nose - calling her, demanding she come back to the ring. And she would, too, just as soon as she had a moment with this little moron and made her understand that this was a serious match, despite-
Susan’s little trick worked, as Spider found herself suddenly bum rushed and on her back. She put up a fight as the two of them went tumbling down the ramp, but her opponent was a larger, stronger woman, and it was never going to go well for her. By the time they reached the bottom of the ramp, Susan was on top and Spider was wriggling beneath her, desperately trying to kick her off and be free. ”Get your fat cow butt of me, you stupid, little-”

Re: AV 20 Spider Kikuchi vs. Susan Howard
Susan couldn’t keep up with everything that happened in their mad tangle while they rolled down the ramp together. Some of her hits were getting through, but it felt impossible to tell how many or if they had been effective. The redhead had eaten some shots as well, though none had stalled her own assault.
They finally came to a stop right by the ring, with Susan seated astride Kikuchi, who was squirming wildly beneath her. The insult brought a glare from the model, who, surprisingly enough, wasn’t too interested in doing what Spider told her to do. Rather than get her “fat butt” off of Kikuchi, she instead hopped it up a few inches only to slam it right back down on her foe’s belly. She repeated the process a few times, trying to both wind the spiteful woman and embarrass her in the process.
The ref was shouting at them to take it into the ring, but would have to wait a bit longer. As much as Susan wanted to win tonight, she wanted to hurt Spider even more. With that on her mind, finally the model pulled herself off of Kikuchi, but went to grab one of her wrists and drag her up with her. If she could get the woman to her feet, Susan would then turn and attempt to Irish Whip her enemy into the nearest barricade as hard as she could!

Re: AV 20 Spider Kikuchi vs. Susan Howard
In hindsight, Spider probably shouldn’t have insulted Susan’s butt. Not that the insults weren’t warranted - they were. A very fair observation. She never understood the American fascination with backsides, and this woman was a prime example. Too round, too wide, obviously a result of poor exercise masquerading as something appealing.
But calling attention to it while said fat butt was seated on her was just tempting fate. Of course Susan pounded her into the floor with it. That snot-nosed, arrogant little brat…
Each bump knocked more and more breath out of her, until she was left choking and gasping, making her easy prey for the fulsome redhead. She was roughly dragged to her feet and seized by the wrist, the telltale sign of an incoming Irish Whip. But she wasn’t in any position to do a thing about it.
Off she went, flung hard, hurled into the barricade, hitting it hard with her back. That would’ve been bad enough by itself, but some of the idiotic fans started slapping her shoulder, cheering them on and taking photos. ”Get off me, you morons!” She hissed and stumbled to the side as she rubbed her back, trying to make her way to the ring and get away from Susan, just for the time being.

Re: AV 20 Spider Kikuchi vs. Susan Howard
Kikuchi could call her fat all she wanted. The only people whose opinions she respected regarding her figure were herself, and a select few in the modeling industry, all of whom strongly concurred with the Pin-Up Princess’s self-gratifying opinions. She could also point to the sales numbers of her modeling career as a whole, though this wasn’t the time or place to settle that kind of disagreement. Though she had to say, it was damn satisfying to use her ass to pummel the air out of Kikuchi.
After throwing Spider off into the barricade, Susan was about to chase her down and continue riding her momentum. But her enemy wisely moved away from the barricade and went to enter the ring. So Susan decided to follow, sliding in under the ropes and standing up.
Waiting for Kikuchi to rise back up as well, Susan held a fist up high. And Once Kikuchi was on her feet, the redhead would charge straight at her while throwing her arm forward, aiming to blast her enemy in the chest and neck with a forceful clothesline to take her right back off her feet again!

Re: AV 20 Spider Kikuchi vs. Susan Howard
Okay, Spider was okay. She’d gotten off to a rough start, sure, but this was nothing she couldn’t recover from, especially when she was up against an idiot like this. She was close to the ring now, she just had to make her way in, slide under the ropes, and-
...what was her foot stuck on?
Spider had started to slide in, was about to pop to her feet, when she felt something tugging at her leg. She looked back down to see the source of her problems, and found that her leg had gotten, of all things, tinsel wrapped around the ankle.
Tinsel. Spider hated this company sometimes, she swore.
She let the world know her rage with an infuriated groan and kicked the stupid stuff off, rising to her feet as fast as she could a second later. Perhaps too fast, because it meant she wasn’t ready for what came next: A clothesline. It crashed hard into her chest, brought her down to the mat and left her gasping. She rolled towards the ropes and grabbed the bottom for support, making sure she had that safe haven for whatever came next, but that was the best she could manage at the moment.
