Katsumi hadn't been in a lot of matches recently and it seemed as if now that was about to change. She was to face off against a new addition to the Friction roster and she couldn't be more excited about that than she was. Having laced up her boots of her spunky orange attire and fixed up her hair, the Light was ready to face off against who ever she was pitted against. She looked forward to the action, to clash wills and body against a skilled combatant, for the challenge! She couldn't help but feel a bit giddy. tightening her gloves against her fingers and hand a bit she would step out onto the Gorilla Position. Where she would wait for them to start her music.

Nodding her head a bit to the initial notes and when the music started to kick off she jumped out onto the ramp! Arm raised up as the crowd gave her a cheer, a smile on her face Katsumi took to jogging down the ramp as she gave a few high-fives to the crowd. Making her way down to the squared circle where she climbed up onto the edge of the ring and then jumped up and over the ropes, landing in a typical superhero landing. On one knee with one fist down against the floor! She moved up to her feet with a little jump and traversed around the ring as she waved to the crowd. Happy to be back and ready to rumble!

After her entrance, Katsumi would nod her head at the referee and walk towards her corner where she would start to stretch a bit. Making sure her body was limber and ready to square off against whoever Friction had decided she was gonna face.

It was about goddamn time. Inside the locker rooms, Misako made the final preparations for her upcoming debut. She wasn’t a frivolous one like all those primp girls who wanted to look fabulous while fighting. Instead, the Dragon was methodical in her preparations because she needed to instill fear and intimidate her rivals. She wasn’t joining the AFW to impress her rivals or the crowd with stupid things as beauty or grace, Misako was there to show how a true Dragon dominates a scene without even caring about her rivals. She was there to test her might against the strongest, and the rest were mere cannon fodder, sheep in a world of wolves, and the Dragon hunted them all, not because it must, but because it was its right.

Now on backstage, Misako didn’t bother with looking as her rival made her entrance. All she needed to know she was going to learn it when the match started, so there was no point in those futile intros. But when her turn arrived she was just going to show everyone how things were now different, how there was a new hunter in the room, how the Dragon prowled. Her entrance theme started and Misako made her way down the ramp without even looking at the crowd, as if she was above all of them, she was, after all. Her walking showed how utterly above the Dragon was compared to her rival and everyone in the arena. She allowed the crowd to be a little bit skeptical about what they were seeing, because after that night’s match they would have no more doubts about the Dragon.

Upon reaching the ring, Misako handed her robe to a stagehand as she went to her corner. Making some final stretches she looked at her rival with a predatory gaze: she looked small and frail, definitely one of those princesses who were more worried about looking cute than being a fighter, but little she knew about how this Dragon ate princesses for breakfast. Grinning from her corner, she waited to see what that small, little woman would do. Would she dare approaching her, or just wanted to remain as far from the threatening Misako as she could?

Katsumi would look up at the ramp as her opponent was making her way down towards the ring. A fellow Japanese woman though this one with a white mane of hair. She seemed to be rather tough simply by the way that she carried herself. Katsumi would nod her head and wait for her opponent to reach the ring and get into her corner, seeing her do her stretches for a bit, the Light would start to walk towards the center of the square circle a bit of a pep to her step.

" Welcome to Friction, I'm gonna try and give you as challenging of a start as I can." Aomine spoke out as she would raise her arms up, readying herself in a grappling stance as she would gesture for the Dragon to come at her, waiting for the referee to call for the bell and for this match to start off!

Misako was a very particular person to fight against. It could be thought seeing her demeanor and her imposing image that she is some kind of villain, and her previous employers surely made use of that to portray her as the evil counterpart to other face wrestlers, but truth was more complex than those black and white kind of descriptions. The Dragon just wanted to face strong rivals in combat since strength was the only thing she respected, not manners or a pretty face or friendly demeanor, just the demonstration that someone was a proficient fighter capable of defending themselves. Maybe because of that she could be seen as a hostile, cold person, but that wasn’t completely true. To get to her people only needed to talk in terms she understood.

Maybe that vision of the world and her rivals was the reason Misako wasn’t fazed at all by Katsumi’s challenge or greeting. Instead, she looked at her rival with curious eyes before replying. What kind of fighter would she be? Was that a worthy opponent or was her all bark and no bite. She wouldn’t have to wait much more to find out. “Good.” Misako said while cracking her fingers. “You better give your best, because I’m not going to give less than that.” Making a guard stance, she waited for the bell to signal the beginning of her debut. Without wasting any time the very instant the bell rang she would go in a rush for an elbow strike at her rival’s belly in an attempt to make her bend.

Watching Misako crack her fingers in front of her the raven haired woman would tilt her head a bit, as she wondered if all that panache was for show, all the dark stuff and dragon theme was just cause she liked it. So far she seemed like a friendly sort. Nodding her head as Misako dropped into her guard stance, Katsumi would raise her arms and get ready, gesturing for Misako to come at her.

Looking to start this match up with a grapple, Katsumi lunged forward as soon as the bell rang but as she did...Misako had also stepped forward and came in with a cruel elbow strike into the belly of the Light! " Guuh!" Katsumi gasped out! Having practically rushed into that strike, she folded over and began to cough out, her arms going down to protect her midsection .

Misako couldn’t help but notice how her rival was gazing at her with a curious and innocent look to her eyes. She couldn’t blame Katsumi though, all the things Misako did to become the Dragon made her physical appearance something striking to the eye, and her confidence before a match could also attract some gazes. But no matter how relaxed the situation looked, things were going to get real serious when the bell rang.

It was always like that with Misako. From 0 to 100% in an instant. It was some sort of creed to her. Strike first. Strike hard. No mercy. As soon as the ringing of the bell signaled the match starting, Misako rushed forwards to make an elbow connect with Katsumi’s midsection. When her rival bent over coughing and trying to protect her abdomen, Misako would strike at her back to make her topple on the ground. From the very beginning she wanted to ascertain dominance but not just that, she wanted to make it clear for everyone. There was a message in her fighting and it was that a Dragon had arrived to the scene.

Katsumi had taken by surprise from the sudden ferocity from the Dragon, but perhaps she should have expected this! She was called The Dragon after all! Suddenly getting an elbow right into her midsection and doubling over as a result, the raven haired woman would cough and gasp for air.

Not exactly sure what had hit her for the first second or two of the pain, she would then be struck right in the back by the white haired woman! Smacked hard the Light would drop! Falling onto her hands and knees with a grunt of pain. As it seemed as if this Misako was quite merciless.

Misako let a sigh of satisfaction as she saw her rival collapsing on the mat on her hands and knees. She smiled to herself, happy of her good start. Of course that was only the very beginning of what was to come, but having a good start to the match was something that was always in her book. That was how Misako liked things: going her way from the start.

With the current picture the Dragon could be misjudged as some kind of cruel, mercyless monster, but she wasn’t that. The pale haired was just working on a different level of morality. For her the only valuable quality in people was strength, and the only way of showing strength was through fighting. If she had held her punches back she would be disrespecting herself, so she needed to be all out in order to find if her rival was worthy, and that was exactly what she wanted to do. Before her rival could get up, Misako would welcome her with a kick to her midsection. She wanted Katsumi on the ground, and apparently the Light was hesitant to fall.

Katsumi grunted and shook her head as she was downed onto her hands and knees, remaining defiant as she tried to keep herself from falling down onto her front. However, she was soon made acquaintance with Misako's boot! As the pale haired woman shot her leg up and smashed it into the midsection of the raven haired wrestler!

Forcing Katsumi to be shot up and over, flopping onto her back with her arms shooting around her midsection. Gasping and coughing as she would shake her head, her heels kicking down a bit against the canvas as she tried desperately to get air back into her lungs.

Besides some passive pride in not wanting to go down after her first hit, Katsumi hadn't showed much of a fight to the moment. Far from that, the Light hadn't been much more than a punching bag, getting hit by anything that Misako had thrown at her. Up to that moment her rival had been a complete disappointment, and even if the Dragon liked winning, that was feeling almost like an empty win.

Finally, Katsumi surrendered to the evidence and collapsed on the mat. As Misako saw her rival gasping desperately for air she knew what to do next. Her feet would abandon the mat as she would take flight in order to fall with a body splash against Katsumi's abdomen, denying her the oxygen she needed.
