Personality
Shy, quiet, and unassuming at first glance, most people find Shayla cute and unthreatening when they first meet her. When she opens up though, she has quite a bright and energetic personality, eager to spread happiness to those she likes. Against people who get on her bad side though, Shayla is not afraid to confront and fight them head on. Luckily though, she’s not the type to see the bad side of people unless they really try and push her. She tends to dress and act conservatively outside of the ring, however she is no stranger to being sensual, though she reserves it for her performances and for the people whom she likes.

History:
Growing up in Baltimore, Shayla was no stranger to poverty and violence. To escape from a rough home life and reality, Shayla immersed herself in the world of anime, wanting nothing more than to become one of the protagonists of the shows she loved. She even went as far as to dye her hair different colors and stylize it like what she saw in anime at a young age, something she continues to do even after she matured.

Being from a poor family, Shayla had to work to help make ends meet as soon as she could. While her other siblings turned to gangs and prostitution, Shayla tried her best to stay as far from such work as possible. Her goal was to save up enough money so she could move somewhere far away, preferably to Japan where she believed her dreams lay. As it so happened, one of the jobs she worked at was at a Jiujitsu dojo owned by an old Japanese master. He took a liking to Shayla (both in the innocent and not so innocent way) and made her a proposition. He saw potential in her abilities after witnessing her fight off a group of ruffians trying to mug her and wanted to train her so she could go to Japan and participate in a tournament. Shayla immediately agreed, only realizing much later what it was she was supposed to do.

As it turned out, the tournament was a special scouting event for the AFW. After a few months of training, Shayla was thrown into the tournament. Her teacher fully expected her to lose against the more experienced and vicious fighters, but thanks to Shayla’s natural instincts and her recent training, she performed surprisingly well. She managed to get a contract to join the AFW, and finally realized her dream of going to Japan.

Anaconda clutch: A technique Shayla uses against opponents who think just because they are on top of her they have the advantage. Shayla’s legs would wrap around their waist, and her hands would grab the back of their head to hold them down. From there, she can transition to either a body-scissor, a bear hug, or roll them over so she is on top!

Finishers:
Cross-body Crotch Claw (Shayla holds her opponent down in a cross-body pin, using one hand to keep her opponent's hands busy while her other hand goes low and claws her opponent's crotch! She uses this move both in hentai and non-hentai matches, and it is effective against both male and female opponents.)
