A Foiled Crime! Mighty Star Appears!

Makoto crossed her ankles and bore down on the hold, giving it the maximum amount of pressure. It was hardly a traditional judo hold, but she’d been branching out since she came to work with Anesthesia, adding to her moveset, and this was part of it - an effective rear naked choke. Mighty Star, like so many others, underestimated her because of her size, but she was more than ready to prove that she could take down anyone on the planet. All she had to do was apply the right amount of pressure in the right place.

That being said, Mighty Star was taking it better than most would, since most would’ve gone to sleep right away from the hold. Mighty Star fought. Oh, did she fight.

The Black Belt Demon held on for dear life as the blonde thrashed around the room, shaking her left and right in a wild attempt to dislodge her. It didn’t work, but that didn’t mean she had an easy time holding on, forcing her to clamp down tighter just to keep her position. She was starting to get weaker, Makoto could sense the power leaving her body, but that did mean it was making the ride any more pleasant.

She cried out as Mighty Star slammed her up against the nearest wall, nearly making her lose the leglock. ”Need a little help, here!” She called out to Sista A who was currently picking herself up off the floor, rising up to wobbly feet. ”Seriously!”

Gritting her teeth, Sista A pushed all the way up and charged forward to...she wasn’t sure what she’d do when she got to Mighty Star, honestly. Probably a tackle. Just get the bitch on the ground and start wailing on her. That would be fun, especially after the lame-ass pun.

By the time she had managed to slam Makoto back and third time, it had mostly amounted to a shove, pressing the small woman up against the drywall with little to no effect. She focused her fading strength elsewhere. Those slender legs around her waist had been squeezing tight until now, if she could pry herself free of one hold, perhaps the other would come next. She sucked in her stomach, giving herself the slightest of gaps to ham her arm down between her body and the other woman’s legs, hooking her inner elbow down where they had linked up. With a hard flex, she threw her arm up, forcefully separating the Black Belt Demon’s scissor attempt.

It wasn’t enough though. She leaned herself up against the wall, struggling to stay upright as she heard a voice talking behind her. Calling for help. Her eyes drifted around the room, settling lidded on the rising Aisha. Once the fallen diva got to her, she would almost certainly be finished if she hadn’t passed out by then.

Mighty Star reached up over her head, tugging and grasping at Black Belt Demon. Little by little bunching up the cloth of her track jacket, pulling it up over the other woman’s upper back until she had managed to grasp hold of the lower lip of the garment and feel some solid resistance. Taking a staggered step forward, she gripped the other woman as strong as she could manage and suddenly bent herself forward in time with one last mighty pull, trying to rip the smaller woman off her back and hurl her towards the charging Aisha.

”Go to sleep!” Mighty Star banged her up against the wall. ”Seriously, go down!” Mighty Star banged her up against the wall again.

Makoto was holding on for dear life now, clinging to this woman with everything she had as the bucking bronco whipped her about. It was no small task, even as the life continued to ebb out of this giantess, but she kept tight, focused on maintaining the hold with her arms. So focused, in fact, that she didn’t even put any effort into maintaining the leghold around her waist. At this point, that was largely superfluous, anyway, and releasing it just made Might Star’s day harder, focusing more weight to pull down on her neck.

It would be over soon, especially with Sista A closing in fast. There was nothing Mighty Star could do to get free, even as she grabbed Black Belt Demon’s jacket. Kind of a weird move, really, the way she was hiking them. Almost as if she intended to-

”Aisha, stop, don’t-”

She came to the realization too late, right as Mighty Star was ducking down for her escape. Makoto was many things, but heavy was never one of them, and she was flung easily off the towering woman’s back, hurled hard into Sista A, colliding back to chest. The two of them crashed to the floor in a tangle mess of hair, arms and legs, utterly wiped out by the move. Aisha had gotten the worst of it, laying on her back and cursing through her groans, but Makoto wasn’t doing all that better. She could only hope Mighty Star was in a similar boat, but she didn’t have the wherewithal to be sure, yet.

It wasn’t a particularly pretty throw, as she managed to rip Black Belt Demon off her back and hurl her in a sloppy flip into the oncoming truck that was Ashisa, but it had been plenty effective. That was good, real good, because she wasn’t fairing very well herself. The hardwood floor rumbled as she fell to her hands and knees, left gasping for air with a choked cough in a momentary break of her untouchable heroic persona. Who would have thought she needed to breathe?

She lifted her head enough to catch sight of the two, unbelievably happy they had been wiped out as well, buying her time to recover. Leaning further forward she braced a forearm to the floor, hanging her head as she took in greedy gulps of air. There was still a faint ringing in her ears and a blurriness in her vision, but each blink and passing second seemed to clear her senese more.

Slowly, she pushed herself up, bringing a leg up to plant one boot on the floor while remaining on one knee. Her palm used this as a brace to steady herself, still not up to the task of rising. Presenting the illusion of composure as she flashed a pearly grin, breathing heavily through her teeth to hide her momentary weakness. Her chest still heaved though, which was hard to hide.

“No demon or thug will bring me low this day. *huff* It’s time you both saw reason and came quietly.” Not in a position for a heroic pose, she settled for whipping her hair back over her shoulder to pair with her bright smile, trying to look unphased through her recovery process. She made no real move to stand, and likely wouldn’t until it became very apparent she would need to for the sake of conserving her strength. She was happy to have them both in front of her now… especially after that close call with the Black Belt Demon. While Mighty Star could roll with the punches, she was far more likely to roll over to a formidable submission hold. Best keep an eye out on that one.

It took the two of them a few seconds to get their act together, but sure enough, Makoto and Aisha began to recover from their mid-air collision. Makoto came to her senses first, sitting up and flopping over to her side, while the diva needed a few seconds to writhe about on the floor and curse life in general. ”Swear. To Fucking. God.” She ran a hand over her aching forehead. ”I don’t get paid enough for this.”

”Me nei-” The Black Belt Demon shot a glare towards her partner. ”Wait, Anesthesia pays you? She told me-”

”Focus!”

Sista A rolled over to her hands and knees, and looked straight on, gazing at Mighty Star. It was tempting to make a run for it. They could wear this woman down, sure, but the longer this went on, the more risk they ran of getting security on their asses, and she’d heard that the current woman in charge of that was not to be fucked with. But, on the other hand, the blonde was breathing hard over there, and Makoto seemed to have a good lock on her for a while, there. They might not be able to do what they came here for anymore, but Anesthesia would be happy if they brought home a toy for her to play with…

Yeah. This was worth the effort. ”I’ll distract her.” Sista A whispered Makoto’s way, as the two of the stood together, leaning on each other for support. ”Try and get a lock on her.”

Black Belt Demon nodded, and that was all the cue Sista A needed to spring into action. She was too hurt to move much now, but what she had in mind wouldn’t require her to, thankfully. Reaching to the side, she grabbed one of the faux-plants Maximillian had around his desk, lifted it up, and chucked it at Mighty Star like a basketball, aiming for the bulging chest of hers.

She’d probably move out of the way. It might hit. It didn't matter, either way, because it was just meant to cover Black Belt Demon as she hobbled forward and reached low, trying to wrap her arms around the larger woman’s thigh and push forward, attempting to bring her to the floor with a single-leg takedown.

"Anesthesia? So that's the name of your master. Now where might they be hiding?" The blond bombshell let out a low shaky breath through her smile, trying her best to mask her fatigue behind her veil of heroism. She. It seemed as though her opponent's had started to collect themselves, she made an effort to rise to the occasion as well. Bracing herself with her knee, the Paragon of Patriotism pushed off her body, staggering to her feet. The dizziness was still there giving her towering form a notable sway, mind clouded with a light numbing hazy she was having trouble shaking. She put on a brave face though, slipping a boot back along the ground to adopt a combat pose, ready to face both women down.

Steely blue eyes narrowed as the two women talked amongst one another, to soft to be heard but a clear sign of further conniving. Were they planning an escape route? A quick look around the room, even in the dark, revealed scant few options for escape… no windows, no conveniently large ventilation ducts. So a plan of attack then? The heroine slowly inched towards the door, slipping away from the wall where she could easily be flanked and pinned in. If need be she should hold them at the only exit and force them to attack one at a time.

Aisha was the first to move, reaching for something along the floor. A broken piece of wood from the furnishings? A dropped weapon? Mighty Star grit her teeth in anticipation for whatever the other woman had in store. The potted plant though… that was a surprise.

Before she could quip on the obvious strangeness of her foe's weapon of choice The Black Belt Demon sprang to life. A double team then? As the diva hurled the ceramic planter, Mighty Star charged forwards to meet it, arms raised to ram into the flying flora. It slammed into her forearms, carried a few steps with her before she threw her arms out, reflecting the faux plant directly towards the patch of the smaller of her attackers, blindly aiming to cut off her attack. The heroine continued on, looking to try to catch Aisha off guard by rushing her down, throwing out a massive European uppercut to catch the diva right in the chin.

On paper - if they had any - it seemed like a good plan, or as good a plan as two people could come up with under their breath in less than two seconds. The plant would distract her, and the Makoto could come in low and take this sequoia of a bitch off at her tree trunk legs. Aisha knew firsthand how good her new little ally was once she got her hands on you - she swore, she still remembered all the pain from their first match, when she made the mistake of trying to ground and pound the submission specialist. She won that fight, but walked with a limp for a month afterwards.

If Makoto got that leg, it was over. Unfortunately, reality and her expectations weren’t on the same page.

The Black Belt Demon had been counting on Mighty Star dodging the projectile, like any sane human being with two working eyes would do. Instead, the crazy woman actually deflated the dang thing, and not just anywhere - right into Makoto. All she could do was squawked as she was dropped under the plant’s weight and floored, while the heroine continued on towards her stupified partner.

Sista A was barely able to get her guard up in time as Mighty Star came down low and struck high with a crazy European Elbow, one that hit with enough force to knocked her off her feet and send staggering until she hit the desk. She almost went clean over it, too, but threw herself forward at the last second, planting her feet.

The blow left her rocked, but Aisha gritted her teeth and threw herself at Mighty Star once more in a wild kamikaze attack, swinging left and right with haphazard blows. She wasn’t looking to do any real damage, though. It was just an attempt to force her opponent back, hoping to make her stumble towards the rising Makoto behind her and put her between the two of them. This bitch was tough, but if they could just get on both sides of her…

As unrelenting and tireless as justice was so too was the truest of patriots known as Mighty Star. There was no grounds for retreat as her uppercut sent the devious diva barreling into the ornate wooden desk. At a glance, the furnishing didn't so much as budge meaning it was either exceptionally heavy or booted to the floor. It was enough for her to work with, providing the hard place to her own proverbial rock in which to pinch the cheeks of dishonorable deviants. In her fervor, she took a stray hook to the jaw, a solid but sloppy blow of desperation. The second such one however was met with an open palm, fingering curling tightly over Aisha's knuckles to try and be t her wrist backwards against the natural grain.

"Your misdeeds are at an end miscreants." Somehow even the most cheesy of comic book lines came out from her like commands from a hardened war veteran, carrying with it a certain air of grim finality. She gave the diva's captured arm a hard yank upwards, using her height to stretch the other woman a limb to the limit, robbing her of the ability to properly defend herself. It was apparent that she was going to need to as well as the blond bombshell was winding up for one of the biggest punches she could to make the once melodious model singer see more stars than just the ones printed over her spandex.

"Hah!" The blond's fist came rocketing around in a registering hook, trying to knock the taste out of Aisha's mouth and all those criminal thoughts from her cranium. Mighty Star wasn't about to just hammer away at this woman like some common thug though, no, she was dearest on subduing her for the proper authorities. Still gripping the other woman's hand, she took a step back to give both of them room as she painfully attempted to spin the other woman around and wrench her arm behind her back. She would shove her wait forward to try and pin down the former pinup girl against the desk and assume the position as if this were a real arrest. "Struggle as you may, you'll find no more mercy here, evildoer."

Aisha had never been a boxer, but she could’ve been. She had the striking power for it, was trained for it, had held her own in matches against actual boxers. She had been the best striker in Rumble Roses without question, never losing a single street fight in her whole time with the company.

Her punches were nothing to fuck with, but it seemed that this Star Spangled Bitch hadn't gotten the memo. The first punch landed well enough, made her jaw sing, but the second…

”Huh?” Aisha had only a moment to be astonished by her fist being captured, before her arm was yanked up and she wound up taking a hook in the face for her troubles. The next thing she knew, she was being forced over the table, bent over in a position she hadn’t taken since she left Harlem. ”Getthefuckoffmeyoufuckingstupidcrazy-”

All her struggling wasn’t getting her free, though, which was a mounting problem. This was supposed to be quick, quiet, an In-And-Out, Smash-And-Grab thing. Now, it had changed into anything but that. It was only a matter of time before security was on their asses.

Thank Fucking God Makoto seemed to realize that, too, as she came from behind and swung a swivel chair at Mighty Star’s back, trying to catch her off guard. It wouldn’t hurt as much as a steel one would, but it didn’t need to - all they needed was to stun the blonde for a few seconds, then make a clean getaway.

The more Aisha struggled and fought, the worse the hold would get as Mighty Star wrenched her arm up into her back, shoving her weight down to continuously pin the woman to the desk each time she tried to resist. It was a tempting position to take advantage of, being able to strike at this woman with impunity with her free hand and batter her into submission but such things were not the way of a hero. No, she would inside keep her restrained until the proper authorities arrived and simply meet force with force until the diva thought better of fighting back.

“Your scheming is at an end Aisha. Regrettably, the only songs you will be singing from now on will be the jailhouse blues.” The blond heroine was particularly proud of that one liner, finding herself smirking rather broadly while she couldn’t be seen by her captive. Things had been dicey for a moment there, but as one of her first acts of heroism with AFW, this had proven to be rather successful. Well, up until that point. Just then, something struck her hard from behind, enough to arch her back but leaving her seemingly unphased.

Before she could fully turn her head however, her neck was yanked back roughly, her wild mane of golden hair had been tangled up in the wheels of the damnable chair of all things! Gravity exerted itself on her, drawing her back, forced to give up her hold on Aisha as she stumbled backwards and toppled over onto the ground.With a frustrated cry she kicked a foot out, trying her best to trip up either of her attacks as she struggled to unwind her hair from the chair blindly, unable to even give chase if she wanted. “You won’t get away with this, mark my words, I will bring you to justice!”
