Summer Splash 2020: Akiha Kosha vs Belinda Northman: I Quit Match

Belinda had been tied up by her arch-rivals nasty submission finisher, as if that wasn't bad enough she had been done so right after taking Akiha's devastating Plunder finisher, leaving her still dazed and a bit out of it. Now she was stuck in this humiliating position as she was being stretched out in a rather embarrassing position, she struggled and shifted, shimmying and twisted what she could but it didn't seem as if Akiha was going to loosen her grip.

Trapped in the Venus Flytrap there was little that Belinda could do, she'd have to bite down on her lower lip to prevent any thoughts of quitting from escaping. Letting the pain in her lip be what she focused on right now. Her trapped legs and arm would flex as she tried to find a way to free herself, she couldn't think of a way to escape from this as her limbs were locked up....well she couldn't think of a fancy way.

After a few seconds of wallowing in the despair that she might have to submit her and end her wrestling career for good....Belinda resigned herself to doing the only thing she could do, which was to try and power her way free. Pulling her her trapped arms as she tried to force them free of Akiha's grip, those arms of her's flexing as she tried to wrestle them free...if she could do that then she would start to try and grab at Akiha's legs and begin to try and pry her legs free from her arch-rivals grip.

Akiha was exhausted, and her body was hurting, but she was starting to feel better, and right now, she knew that her arch-rival was doing far worse.  The longer the hold went on, the more time the crimson hair wrestler had to recover while the worse Belinda would be.  But this move wasn’t meant to put Akiha in a better position and Belinda in a worse situation; it was meant to make the blonde wrestler submit and end the match.

“Come on, just say it, say it, and it will be all over.  You cannot escape; all your doing is putting yourself in more pain.  Just admit it, it’s over now!” said Akiha as she continued to apply as much pressure as she could.  The audience would continue to offer support for Belinda, trying to cheer her.

The Japanese wrestler then felt Belinda starting to try and power her way out.  The crimson hair wrestler would grit her teeth as her neck muscles tense up, while her eyebrows come closer as her eyes glared at the blonde wrestler.  She was starting to lose her grip on the European wrestler and, as a result, would move her arms and legs, trying to lever Belinda’s leg, attempting to cause as much pain as possible.

Belinda refused to let it end here, the thought of having to submit wasn't exactly foreign to her....but in this match there was a matter of stakes. Should she throw in the towel here not only would she get a permanent scar to her pride and she would have to quit her life as a wrestler.....but that wasn't the worst part. The thing that made the idea of giving in the most unbearable was the fact that losing here would mean to lose to her arch-rival in their biggest match ever! She was not gonna give in, not against Akiha Kosha, not tonight!

Gritting her teeth tighter and tighter, the muscles of Belinda's legs started to flex more and more. She would start to breath in heavily in between her gnashing teeth as she continued to try and power her way out of this hold! Pushing further and further, it didn't matter what muscles were pulled or how painful it would be, she wasn't about to go down like this!

She would bare her teeth as she let out a painful muffled how from behind her teeth as she tried to break free of the hold with a final mighty push, trying to practically fling Akiha off of her.

Akiha was attempting to apply as much pain and damage as she could. She wanted to hear Belinda say those words. However, the crimson hair wrestler's eyes would go wide as she felt Belinda powering out of it. The Japanese wrestler would find her grip being broken, the blonde wrestler becoming free from her hold. The crowd would erupt into roars and applaud, glad to see the Swedish wrestler having escaped the dreaded submission hold. The announcers were also going crazy, stating they couldn’t believe what they just saw.

Akiha placed her hands on her head as she got on her knees. A bit of her couldn’t believe that it happened, and another bit of her was unsure what to do next. She had hit her Arch Rival with two finishers, and it wasn’t enough to put her away. She would inhale and exhale before recollecting herself. Though Belinda had escaped, she had taken a lot of damage. Akiha was sure there was no way she would be able to fight back now. As such, the crimson hair wrestler would attempt to get back on her feet, getting ready to take another go at her arch-rival.

Breaking the grip of Akiha, Belinda moved as quickly as she could as she would rolled away from Akiha and towards the ropes. Her arm clung around it as she laid on her side and gasped, she moaned out in pain as she had gone through hell and back to get through the beating she was taking at the hands of her arch-rival. Her legs, back and well frankly all of her body was aching right now.

She could hear the crowd cheering and chanting, shouting and roaring. They helped, no doubt but would it be enough....Belinda remained down on her side for a few more seconds as she would start to push herself up with the help of the ropes. Rising to her feet, Belinda's body glistened a bit under the arena lights as her body was covered in a very thin coating of sweat. She turned and faced Akiha, giving her rival a determined look through that pained expression on her face.

Akiha was utterly exhausted, both physically and mentally. This match had been going on for a while, and she would then look at Belinda, who gave a determined look, but she could also tell that the blonde wrestler was exhausted. Akiha just needed to push a bit further, and she was sure this match would be hers. Getting back onto her feet, she would then charge forward towards her blonde rival. Once she got close, she would jump in the air and send her legs forward, attempting to hit Belinda with a dropkick and attempting to send her out of the ring. Regardless of the attack hitting or missing, she would grab onto the ropes, having a follow-up for either outcome.

Belinda would keep her eyes fixed on Akiha, waiting to see what her rival was about to do while she tried to gather her senses and her breathing. This match so far had been both mentally and physically demanding on Belinda and she needed a moment or two to recuperate. Though she had to find a chance to take that moment, perhaps if she could manage to weaken Akiha, but at this rate there were few ways that she could do that easily.

She needed for Akiha to make a mistake.

When she saw her Arch-Rival line herself up and then come running towards her, Belinda was ready. Waiting for the right moment the blonde would watch as Akiha came running and then jumped, looking for that dropkick, but Akiha's feet wouldn't find Belinda. Instead what they would find was nothing but air as the blonde would duck out of the way.

Akiha’s attack missed Belinda, but she had taken that into account when she had performed her dropkick. Using her hands, she would tightly grab onto the ropes, she would then use them to swing her body around. With her entire body aching and exhausted, she would have to keep using the momentum she built up whenever she could. In this case, she would use to bring her two legs around and try to hit Belinda with a Tiger Feint Kick. At this point, every hit she could get onto Belinda brought her one step closer to victory.

Belinda ducked out of the way for the dropkick, and she would see how Akiha grabbed onto the ropes. This was a make or break it situation and she knew she was going to have to build her way back to a comeback, but if she took this move from Akiha that was going to be even more of an uphill battle. Gritting her teeth, Belinda tried to force her fatigued and pained body to move, and drop down. Trying to practically throw herself down onto the canvas to avoid the swing of Akiha's legs and evade the Tiger Feint Kick!

Following which, she would try and roll out of the ring, seemingly trying to catch a breather, but....that wasn't the case. Landing on her feet on the outside area of the ring, Belinda would quickly try and catch the legs of and try to yank them out from under her arch-rival. Trying to make her fall front first down onto the canvas, and then yank her harshly out of the ring, to try and throw her down onto the barely padded floor.

Akiha managed to swing her legs, performing a tiger feint kick, but her attack didn’t connect with Belinda. Instead, she only connected with the empty air. The attack also left her a bit unbalanced, and it would take her a second or two to regain her balance. Before the crimson air wrestler could regain her balance, she would find her legs being grabbed and then pulled. The attack took her off guard, and Akiha's grip on the ropes was broken. She would then crash down into the canvas before crashing into the ground, her chest and face smacked right into the barely padded ground outside. The impact caused intense pain to her chest and head while draining what little energy she had. The Japanese crusader would groan, shaking her head slightly as she laid on the ground, arms spread out.
