In With The Old Out With The New: Eshe vs. Hoshino

The first count came and went, she’d clutch their leg a little tighter, gathering herself in the heat of the moment. Hoshino just seemed lifeless, stirring only to aid her aching head. The second count came, Hoshino had to be out of this. That feeling of victory wouldn’t come, the schoolgirl managed to pull herself up from of the depths and kicked out.

Eshe rose up on her knees, the schoolgirl still had a lot of sound to her, it impressed her. Still fighting so hard despite the challenge. It reminded her of herself in a way with that level of tenacity. She couldn’t help but give her props for it but that would have to come later.

Getting back on her feet she’d take a deep breath, it may still be too early for another pin, maybe she ought to go for something hard hitting. A finisher didn’t seem like a likely canoeists, not yet at least. Reaching down for their right arm and leg, she’d pull the girl toward the corner. She had a plan, perhaps a stupid and reckless plan but one all the same.

If Hoshino stayed limp, Eshe would slip through the ropes and begin to climb the ropes. Pulling herself up to the second then top rope, she’d look down at her hopefully unresponsive opponent, if she messed this up it was going to hurt...a lot. With a quick double take, she swallowed her fear and leapt, attempting to come crashing down with a body press off the top rope.

Breaking the pinfall gave Hoshino a burst of hope, as she still had enough fighting spirit to keep on going in this match. As Eshe got off of her, Hoshino attempted to get back up as well, but her arms gave out before she could even push herself up. The pain came flooding back, leaving her lying on the mats, panting as she tried to power though her own agony. Even sitting up was hard as her head was still dizzy, her chest aching, and her back sore.

She was able to see clearly when she opened her eyes though, seeing Eshe climbing up onto the ropes, obviously going for a high risk high flying attack. Hoshino knew if she got hit by that, there would be no recovery. She had to get out of the way. But would her body let her?

Eshe leapt into the air, aiming her flying body press at the still limp Hoshino. The schoolgirl gathered all her energy and will, and rolled sideways right as Eshe launched off the top ropes. She didn't get too far, rolling just enough to make Eshe hit nothing but mat on her way down, remaining close enough that after Eshe hit the mat, she would be able to follow up on her opponent's mistake if she managed to find the energy.

She should’ve been a bit more mindful of her opponent as she climbed those ropes. It was wrestling 101 to make sure your opponent couldn’t escape or counter but the Egyptian must’ve forgot. She stood tall on the corner post, the ropes, barely keeping her stable. Eshe would leap , extending out her limbs to come crashing down, down...

”Gaugh!” Nothing. Her body found nothing but the hard canvas, her violet gaze looked up to find the schoolgirl had barely managed to move but just enough to avoid her splash. She’d coddle her stomach, the pain began to overwhelm her and for a moment she felt sick. Eshe didn’t expect the dazed Hoshino to move but then again, if it were her she’d move out of the way too. She’d lay on her side attempting to quickly recover, she couldn’t let the schoolgirl just have her way again.

With one arm wrapped over her stomach, she’d roll back onto her knees and begin to push up with her free hand. She found herself falling back toward the corner, panting heavily as she attempted to again get to her feet with the assurance of the ropes, thank God for that.

Hoshino felt the thud of her opponent landing on the mats beside her, wincing in appreciation of the pain she must be feeling. Hoshino was no stranger to botched high-flying moves, the last one she messed up had cost her a match. She hoped that Eshe's screw-up here would cost her this match as well, though the schoolgirl didn't count on it.

As Hoshino pushed up to her feet, so did Eshe, though the Egyptian beauty had rolled over to the ropes and used them to help her recover. Hoshino was finally feeling the pain fade from the repeated punishment she took, pushing back up to her feet as well just before Eshe managed to get up. The gymnast girl panted as she saw Eshe leaning heavily against the ropes in the corner, seemingly vulnerable to an attack.

"Gotta make this one count," Hoshino said, advancing slowly upon Eshe at first, but quickly picking up the pace as she got closer. She was careful this time, not wanting to jump in and splatter herself against the turnbuckle in a risky attack. Instead, Hoshino would charge right up into striking range, then throw an elbow forwards, aiming to strike Eshe in the chin and stun her to open her up for further attacks!

The steady climb to recover was taking her a big longer than she had anticipated. The ropes support was helping but the pain lingering in her stomach? Not so much. She managed to rid herself of the sickly feeling but her body was still recovering from the impact now. A chance the gymnast would gladly take as they managed to get up on their feet first.

Eshe braces herself as best she could for whatever would come but Hoshino didn’t make her objective clear. Her pace was slow then it quickened, was she coming to squash her? No. A first elbow rocked her jaw, sending her body to the side forcefully. It woke her up in a way but geez did it hurt. Did she really have to go for the jaw? the Egyptian wondered. Her body was still to slow to react, she could only lull herself back into position as she used both arms to hold herself up in the corner.

Eshe knew she had to come up with a plan and soon, getting beaten down when she’s been so close would leave her dissatisfied with herself. She needed to get out of this corner and back into the game before it was too late. The violet knew from now on to be more careful with her high flying techniques for next time.

Hoshino's elbow struck home, snapping back the head of her dark-skinned rival. The schoolgirl was only using that to create an opening though, as she was afraid any bigger attack would leave her exposed. After several reversals and getting beaten up pretty badly, Hoshino knew better than to rush in against a fighter like Eshe. At the very least now Hoshino knew that Eshe was stunned and weakened, a ready target for some larger attacks.

Which was exactly what Hoshino planned to set up. The schoolgirl reached up to grab Eshe's head, turning around and aiming to flip her opponent over her shoulder to slam her onto her back. That was only the setup though, as Hoshino decided to climb the ropes herself to execute her own signature high-flying assault.

She moved as quickly as she could to climb the ropes, but pain in her back and dizziness from the pedigree slowed her down. Still, should Eshe not intervene after getting flipped, Hoshino would make it to the top, balancing in the top turnbuckle as she prepared her own high risk attack.

Eshe was vunerable, after taking the elbow, she could use a breather but Hoshino didn’t seem to be in the mood to give her one. She didn’t back away meaning they still had business here in the corner. She was expecting another elbow or a chop but neither came, the Egyptian could be grateful for that at least.

Suddenly she felt a sting in her scalp, the schoolgirl, roughly twisting as she flipped her over onto her back. Another shot to her spine, she’d grit her teeth in breath in as the second wave of pain came. She was left down on the mat, panting. Her head began to lull its senses back together, her body slowly recovering from the flip. Her violent pools saw the gymnast climbing up those ropes just as she had done before getting the boot. Gettin c uo didn’t seem like the best option now, the moment thx she was on her feet that small frame of theirs would come crashing down on top of her. No, there was a better, more effective way to deal with this situation.

Eshe devised an idea from a match she saw just a few months before joining AFW. Just as the wrestler was about to jump, her downed opponent brought in their knees practically hitting the poor girl. The Egyptian was going to do just that. Hoshino was now at the top, barely keeping herself up as she balanced herself on the ropes. This plan would have to work, if she wanted to come out on top she’d have to time this just right.

There was always that feeling of time slowing down in desperation or too much adrenaline. She waited patiently , waitin thx for that moment to bring the hurt. If Hoshino decided to jump, with a grittin x grunt, the violet would pull in her legs against her abdomen for them to come crashing down on, just to inflict that same hint of how it felt to barely miss.

At the top of the turnbuckle, Hoshino looked down at her prone opponent, taking a deep breath as she readied herself for a finishing blow. She knew she only had a few moments worth of time, Eshe wouldn't stay down for long, and her own body felt weak with pain and dizziness. Even if she wanted to wait her body wasn't letting her. It was now or never!

The schoolgirl jumped up, using the elasticity of the ropes to give her a bit of extra force to fly into the air. She arched her back, using the momentum from her jump to flip through the air backwards gracefully, her years of training as a gymnast showing in her excellent form. As she came down, she hoped that unlike before, her opponent would be stunned enough so she could land the attack successfully.

Unfortunately for Hoshino, Eshe was just faking her weakness. Hoshino realized far too late that she had fallen for the same trap yet again, as Eshe brought her knees up just in time to intercept the falling gymnast. She had no time to react, Hoshino's belly slammed into Eshe's knees, instantly knocking all the wind out of the poor girl. Spittle flew from her open mouth as she let out a gasp of pain, her voice unable to process the agony that flooded her body. Her body crumpled, folding over Eshe's knee like a loose cloth, before Hoshino fell onto her side, curled into a little ball to nurse her bruised stomach.

"N-not again..." the poor schoolgirl whimpered in pain as she lay on the ring canvas.

Hoshino seemed so sure she could take the risk and fly off the top rope and end this match in her favor but fate was cruel. Eshe learned how cruel early in life. Still, the grace and ellegence of her jump the flip to extend her stonach for better momentum, it was a perfect splash, she’d have to lie to herself to not see perfection when it was right in front of her.

As the schoolgirl came down with the means to the end, the Egyptian with a heavy heart brought her knees inward to cover her midsection. The gymnast came crashing down, applying her weight over the violet in such a fashion that her legs dug into her stomach. The force was overwhelming, had she actually been dazed enough to take this, it could’ve very well taken her out of the match. Hoshino couldn’t even muster up a sound, all the air in her lungs, forced out and now on her side clutching her stomach in pain just like she was.

The Egyptian was slow to her feet, still recovering from her last blunder she’d settle up on her knees first before making the climb to stand. Hoshino was still clutching her stomach, she wondered if she felt just as sick as she did when she hit something other than an exposed belly. With a shakey breath she managed to get on her feet, tgis had to be the end of it. The both of them couldn’t keep this up for much longer, with bruises and the like starting to pop up along her body, she’d grab the smaller woman by the arm and pull them up to their feet.

”As much as I’d love to keep going, I think this is going to be it Hoshino.” She stated as she pulled them to a standing position.

Hoshino was too lost in her world of pain to notice what Eshe was doing. She lay curled up on the mats, panting weakly as she struggled to gather the strength to move. Each time she tried though, pain filled her entire body, radiating outwards from the two nasty bruises forming on her stomach. Sweat ran down her head and spittle dripped from the corners of her mouth. If Hoshino had eaten before the match, there was no doubt she could be puking everything up right now.

Eshe didn't give her any time to rest though, as the Egyptian beauty grabbed her arm and pulled her up to her feet. Hoshino could barely stand, her knees nearly giving out the second Eshe pulled her up, making her fall and lean heavily against her opponent. In her vulnerable state, there was no way Hoshino could muster any kind of defense against her opponent.

Still, the schoolgirl had her defiant spirit. She looked up at Eshe, her eyes still focused despite the punishment she had taken and the pain wracking her body. "If you're going to finish me off... Make it quick," Hoshino said, knowing that she couldn't resist Eshe even if she tried right now.
