Ragna Lemoine vs The Amazing Ayumi

It had been some time since she had gotten a match again in AFW and today was that day. A new day and more importantly a new her. She had taken some time off, to go home and relax back in her native land of France. Work in the bakery and come back and rethink who she was. Tonight was the night to show that, her last match being a taste of what she could be as the rough and tumble French woman was going to show that she wasn't just a brute but a champion of the people, spoiling for a good fight.

The large woman walked out from the gorilla position and onto the stage as her music came on, receiving a mixed reception as the crowd didn't know what to think of her fully yet what she was going to do, wither she was going to be a heal or a face in this battle against an opponent she hadn't really ever heard of. Something about being a magician of some sort, a unique opponent if she had ever heard of, but the organization had plenty pf crazy individuals like that walking around, all competing for a chance at glory, why question something like that, finally making her way to the ring with raised arms.

And as twin cages containing about half a dozen white doves each were laid out on the stage before the crowd, it would be clear this magician character was if nothing else "unique" even among this diverse and at times "wacky" roster. The two stage hands would on cue open up the cages before they scattered as the doves flew about the stage as they scattered about making a dazzling scene.

And almost out of thing air as the doves parted, Ayumi herself made an arrival. The magician decked out in her themeatic attire as she seemed to appear out of thin air in a sudden vanishing appearance ace. And after she coughed out a feather that somehow got caught in her throat, Ayumi would shake it off as she made her way to the ring and struck a pose flashing her magical wand and tipping her hat before she moved to her corner to remove those items and the cape as she turned to her rather large opponent though seemed undetured in spite of the size difference.

The Amazing Ayumi:

Ragna looked at the smaller opponent before her, a little confused at what this whole sort of charade was about, "You some sort of magician or something. I am very confused at such a rather interesting display," she spoke, obviously with a rather French accent in English, plain and fine. Ayumi's entrance was by far way grander than anything she had done before or seen at all, "However I must say, I shall only be impressed with how well you fight."

"Thanks. Indeed I am, a master of the magic arts as it were. Though today you'll see I am quite deadly on stage or in the square circle~!" Ayumi said, clearly confident and not intimidated by the larger size of her opponent. Whether this was an oversight to regret or not remained to be seen but once she removed her magical accessories the referee would signal for the bell as the match was officially underway.

One it did, Ayumi aimed to begin with a bold and perhaps short sighted strategy, as she aimed to try to rush Ragna and tried to trap her with a bearhug of all things.

"Hopefully you are just as much a master of wrestling as you so proudly display with your magic," she said with hands on her hips, ready to rumble with Ayumi. She didn't expect much from her, wither this was an oversight or not. It was however the start of the match and the French wrestler would have to learn rather quickly what her opponent could bring the table.

A ring of the bell and she was expecting Ayumi to circle but instead straight into a bear hug to take her off guard. She grit her teeth as she felt arms wrap around her waist, pressure building as she was squeezed and yet the pain was minimal. It was now clear that she there was a difference on strength as Ragna began to pry the magician off of her, exerting some effort as she showed of her own impressive strength.

And indeed, Ayumi's rash decision to try a bear hug proved a bit costly, as the larger woman seemed to be more than show as her arms began to be pried by Ragna's grip as already Ayumi felt the sharp sting as she had to break her bear hug with her eyes widened slightly.

"Ow ow ow ow ow!" Ayumi winced, as she struggled and tried to shake the French woman's hands off her wrists though naturally was left open and vulnerable during this process as her focus was simply on trying to escape unable to mount an offensive at her current position.

Hands gripping around Ayumi's wrists, she slowly took her time in prying her opponents hands off from around her person, "I expected from your small size and weight that you'd use your speed to defeat me which would be très bien, but your bear hug is indeed very brave. Etre courageux ne signifie pas que tu n’es pas stupide." she'd speak to her as if lecturing the magician, quickly going from gripping somewhat painfully around her wrists to wrapping Ayumi's head with her arms, dragging her around the ring as if showing off to the crowd.

Ragna would bring the both of them over to one side of the ring, tapping the top of Ayumi's head as if in warning before pulling her forward towards the center of the ring. This was all in prep for a Running Bulldog, trying to plant the magicians face square down onto the mat.

"D-don't lecture me with your fancy Canadian!" Ayumi yelled back, though she seemed to have forgotten the "French" part of her presumed French Canadian dig though the accent being wrong was the least of the magician's worries as she was dragged around in spite of her resistance and struggles as if she was a ragdoll and moved to the corner. Where she was given a tap on the head as if she was scolding a small child or something.

Ayumi, frowned, annoyed at such treatment and she was about to curse her and retaliate. About being the key word as before she could act she was pulled into a tight headlock and driven face first to the canvas with a bulldog as she cried out a groan from the blow before quickly rubbing her now stunned and sore face.

Ragna now in a seated position would look towards the now groaning magician, "I am not from Canada nor Quebec," she spoke with a raised brow, "I am from France."

The French woman would slowly crawl over to Ayumi, sitting herself a top her and going for a submission. She'd hook her arms underneath the magician's and set up in a chicken wing, bending her back to set on her as she did so in what could be a rather painful move, "Specifically Lyon."

"Bah technicalities..." Ayumi groaned out, feeling the pain of the blow that sent her to the canvas as her larger opponent corrected the airheaded magician. Though quickly she pressed her advantage as she worked to press a submission onto her and locked in a chickenwing.

"AGHHHH! DAMN IT DAMN IT DAMN IT!" Ayumi cursed out, screaming in agony as quickly her body began to spaz and shift anyway it could as she looked to try and find the nearest rope to escape this painful hold anyway she could.
