Gai Tendo vs Eliza Harrenwood - Flame Reignited

Once a referee finally came down the ramp and entered the ring, confirming both fighters were ready, she signaled for the bell to ring, officially starting Eliza's returning Tension match!

Gai, the former Buriki-One King, wasted zero time. Arrogantly, convinced he could destroy the blonde woman in a matter of mere seconds, he charged towards her from across the ring the second the bell started ringing, fully intending to tackle the woman down to the mat, so he could begin raining punches down on her face!

Eliza was not one to show massive disdain for her opponents. Many men and women have faced the Dancing Passion, but they have been respectful in the end, none have come close to bringing about such ire from her. Doing such is ill-advised, Eliza shows no mercy to those that do and would be regretting their choices.

Tonight would be the night things changed.

She hated Gai and his words and swore to herself, by the end of this battle, the Darling of Tension would strike this man down and force him to learn some proper lessons. Still, Eliza knew she could not get riled up; it would only benefit the enemy after all. Gai reminded Eliza considerably of the stuffy young men found in affluent society; she dealt with them before when they tried to assert themselves and struck them down with a comment, laden with barbed wire. Still, Eliza wasn't intent on underestimating Gai; he probably knew what he was talking about. But Eliza did the same in turn. Ms Harenwood calmly settled into her stance and prepared to face the enemy.

The former Buriki-One King's remarks were still really annoying, but he is merely digging his grave more. Eliza was going to play to win, as she always did. Gai was bigger and stronger than Eliza, but she was no stranger to this. It was one thing the Dancing Passion could undoubtedly count on.

The bell would ring, and Eliza was now in this match as she walked forward and assessed her opponent. However, Gai had no patience and was looking to dash right in it seemed. Is he serious? Eliza would have been crazy to stand there against someone with his build. So, of course, Eliza was not intent on playing ball there.

"Foolish man..." The Darling of Tension contemplated inwardly, Gai charging right in haphazardly, Eliza promptly went into action as soon as she saw him. Was he trying to be ironic or beat the British Aristocrat at her own game? No matter, Eliza reacted by stepping promptly to the side and leaping into the air and hoping to retaliate by delivering a jumping spin kick to the side of his head!

Gai charged in fearlessly, recklessly...and as he would later think in hindsight...foolishly. He was stubborn and bullheaded and overconfident enough to think that yes, Eliza WOULD be too dumb and slow to actually dodge his attempted charge. She was, after all, a woman, and their minds just didn't work as quickly as men did.

It wasn't until she sidestepped his charge that he realized he made a mistake, and by the time he turned around, Eliza's foot smashed into the side of his head...and he dropped flat, the impact making his head jerk to the side, his body almost instantly going limp and collapsing onto to the mat in a crumpled heap, eyes rolled in the back of his head, KOed by a single kick, to the sheer shock of the entire crowd!

Eliza wondered if Gai really did his homework here. Even with the hiatus she took, many man and woman knew that Eliza’s well-executed, acrobatic offence was known all over the Tension league. It was something that made up for her lack of size, continually proving that one can fight smarter, not harder. Gai showed his own haphazard technique, but his fists, honed as they may be, wouldn’t compare with the poised and educated legs of the Dancing Passion. Before, she would have been wary with going on the defensive, giving a more prominent opponent an inch would mean they will take a mile.

But as Eliza struck first, her foot blasting in the side of his head, she showed to be much confident in handling such positions, Gai must have been knocked for a mental loop after a blow like that. Myths and legends could form about how instantly he no longer spoke when silenced due to the Darling of Tension’s wrath. Quite frankly, befalling the Bukiri-One King felt good and the crowd roared in approval from witnessing her agility and precision, something which they have been deprived for a long time. Which was why, as she turned to face Gai, her proud smirk soon turned into a dumbfounded look.

True, her kicks have always been deadly to any opponent. But the British Aristocrat didn’t expect her attack to be this…effective. She couldn’t quite believe her eyes when she saw Gai laid out in a crumpled state. Eliza honestly wasn’t expecting this, even though Mr Tendo had been hurling vitriol towards the Dancing Passion. She wasn’t sure what to do, but a confused Eliza would lower herself to the canvas and hook a leg over, going straight for a pin attempt. Bold of her to attempt something like this, but it wouldn’t be surprising if this worked…

The crowd had popped off their feet as Eliza managed to counter Gai's charge and take him down with a single kick, and watched eagerly as she went for the first pinfall of the match, wondering if the womans return was going to be faster than they even expected.

"1!....2!...3!"

Just like that, it was over, the Biriki-One King defeated, once again, with just a single blow, to the shock and absolute delight to the crowd, who erupted in cheers, applause, and laughter for the victorious beautiful woman.

Soon after, Gai would open his eyes, jerking awake and sitting up in a swift motion, letting out a pained groan and clutching his head, wondering just what the hell happened. As he saw the crowd pointing and laughing in his direction though, and saw the referee raising the arm of the blonde twerp in front of him, it all clicked.

"...No...no no, hold on!" He yelled, pushing himself up to his feet, stumbling a bit dizzily before pointing at Eliza. "No way! That didn't....that was a fluke! I stumbled, and you just got a lucky shot in, you didn't beat me!" he yelled with sheer arrogance in his voice.

That was…

Hmm. Eliza couldn’t really have thought that this would have actually worked. A quick pin attempt was just something she would usually do once the opportunity arises. While the majority of her wins do come in submissions, guess how she managed to get those wins, she isn’t against a victory by pinfall. Still, the Dancing Passion was in the mindset that Gai would have kicked out, this had its use to get the message inside his thick skull that Eliza was taking this battle seriously and so should he. A man who boasted of being the Bikiri-One King would have done so from the get-go, that kick was a reminder to everyone in the locker room that her legs were still lethal and once they were aiming for your head, look out!

However, never in her wildest dreams did the Darling of Tension ever think that she would have obtained victory this quick.

The British Aristocrat sat up afterwards. Her face was a mix of quizzical and concerned, even as she had her hand raised. Sure, she did train quite a lot, but she hoped that she didn’t kill the man. Even with all the insults and vitriol hurled at the blonde, Eliza wouldn’t wish this upon anyone. That is the kind of person she was. Sitting on her shins, she knelt down to the redheaded MMA maven. “Are you…okay?” Before the referee would call in the paramedics, Gai would instantly jerk himself to consciousness, waking up as if he had a nightmare. Getting up to his feet way too quickly, he stumbled around protesting at the referee as if he was Zab Judah. The Dancing Passion stared at Gai, simply couldn’t believe this turn of events. “Deny it all you want, Mr Tendo. But the whole world saw something much different.” The British Aristocrat spoke as she rose to her feet, tugging at the ends of her belt. “Simply put, you have lost.”

"Bullshit!" Gai roared back, turning towards the referee girl. "Restart the match, right now! Cmon! Gimme another shot! I'm not letting this farce happen to me!" he bellowed, stepping towards the skinny referee girl and backing her up against the ropes with his threatening demeanor.

Looking to avoid trouble, and since the fans were cheering for a re-start anyway after the incredibly short "fight" they got, she finally shrugged and motioned for the bell to ring, officially restarting the match! Gai let out a loud, boastful laugh, pointing at the Dancing Passion. "YOU'RE DONE FOR!" he cried, sounding every bit like an over the top power rangers villain as he charged in towards her again, intending THIS time to tackle her down and beat her senseless!

The concern Ms Harenwood had for her opponent would eventually ease as soon as Gai came up demanding a rematch. Eliza understands that in some cases, a win can come up from a fluke, a simple mistake that would leave someone believing that they didn’t give anything in this ring. But that grace could only go so far, the MMA maven furiously demanding a rematch, even to the point of threatening the referee. While the Dancing Passion would not mind a rematch, since even she felt unsatisfied, this was unacceptable behaviour and unsportsmanlike in conduct.

The lesson in proper manners continues, it seems.

Eliza spun on her heels to face the somewhat maniacal Gai as he yelled out towards her. Meanwhile, The Darling of Tension remained the calm demeanour she had since stepping into the ring. “If this is what you wish for…” Eliza muttered underneath her breath as Gai suddenly charged in. Rather than stepping back, Eliza pressed forward also. Her legs were still in the prime position to do something, as she’d piston her right leg up as soon as she has gotten in range. Aiming a stiff knee to the forehead or jaw, yet another devastating strike from Eliza’s famous legs!

Gai's charge was a wild one, reckless with abandon...and much like his first charge, he'd pay for this one the exact same way, as, before he could register it, a hard knee shot up and struck him right in the jaw!

There was no cry of pain, no recoil and stumbling of surprise or agony. Just a sudden flop, as the limp body of Gai Tendo once again hit the mat, eyes rolled in the back of his head, knocked the fuck unconscious for the second time by the Dancing Passion!

Gai simply made it way too easy for Eliza to batter him at this point. Instead of using the safe and optimal strategy of withdrawing and gathering himself, he just went straight into the fight with reckless abandon. Usually, Ms Harenwood would be concerned about tiring herself out before her opponents did; however, it seemed that Gai was simply running on autopilot at this point. Making it more manageable in Eliza's court to bring the pain to the supposed king. If the Dancing Passion did not know any better, she would muse that Gai was getting off from this. Many a man often wished to face down Eliza Harenwood, many would probably regret it later after facing her.

It mattered little to Eliza, she simply fought to win.

The problem here was Gai was trying to beat Eliza in a contest of strikes. Instead of being smart, he was throwing himself practically into his "attacks". But Eliza was accustomed to it, she could dodge and deflect the attack with grace and counter with a powerful blow. Indeed it was quite a spectacle to see Ms Harenwood dominate in a direct strike fest, flowing like water and striking like thunder. The crowd loudly vocalised their approval of the British aristocrat's accuracy and movements.

Gai charged in again, and Eliza knew he hasn't learnt his lesson. Though the Dancing Passion wondered if she had overdone it all with that knee. Any of her strikes were liable to break something in his head, even if he's a seasoned competitor and have taken harder blows before. No matter, Eliza simply responded, and she befell the man yet again. Short, simple, hard.

"Again?" Eliza groaned with exasperation. Gai wasn't a challenge for all of his bravado so far, and her patience was getting tested. Still, the show must go on. She lowered down, hooking his leg as she went for the pin again.
