The Cowgirl Rides Again! Julia Rogers vs Suzumi Ishikawa

Considering she’d just done a number on Suzumi with her headscissor, Julia was surprised to see her get up and dash toward her as quick as she was. It was clear just looking at her the hold had left her pretty dazed. Throwing herself full throttle into the offensive again right now was bold, but reckless as all hell. Julia often took similar routes herself, so she had to respect it. But she didn’t intend to be a sitting duck for Suzumi just because of that!

When the Tsunami came near, the cowgirl sprung into the air and threw her legs out in a dropkick attempt...only to hit nothing but air! Suzumi had rolled out of the way at the last moment, leaving the masked blonde to crash to the mat with a thud! Julia winced while picking herself up, but by the time she was back to her feet her foe was racing toward the air already. With no time to move aside or try a counter, Julia was defenseless as Suzumi blasted her with a dropkick of her own! The intense blow nearly knocked her right out of her boots, throwing her off her feet and several feet back before she landed with another hard impact on the mat.

Now Julia was the one crawling for the ropes, dazed and vulnerable, just hoping she could get back to her feet as quickly as possible.

Suzumi's little gambit worked and while she was shaking off her daze Julia was left in a bad spot. Suzumi saw Julia crawling to the ropes knowing she had better be doing her best to try to capitalize on her situation. Suzumi moved in behind Julia wrapping her arms around Julia's neck while her legs began to constrict Julia's torso as Suzumi locked in a rear naked choke on the cowgirl! "I know you are like a big deal but I am totally out to show everyone that I am ready for the big stage!" Suzumi said as she began choking the air out of Julia while simultaneously crushing her torso!

Suzumi was being honest. She did really respect Julia, recalling the many big matches she had against the best women in the ring. Suzumi wanted to belong to that elite group. To get in she knew she had to win against one of them, determined to make Julia that victory!

Julia was close to the ropes, reaching out toward them when she suddenly felt a pair of arms clasp onto her. “Shit!” she cursed while she was immediately yanked backward. Suzumi’s arms wrapped around the cowgirl’s neck, while her foe’s legs did the same around her ribs. In the blink of an eye the Tsunami had locked up in a brutally tight rear naked choke!

Instantly the masked blonde began to thrash and flail in Suzumi’s clutches. She couldn’t respond to her opponent’s words thanks to the constricting choke being applied. Julia grabbed at her foe’s wrist and tried to pull it down a bit. She highly doubted she’d be able to break the hold altogether. But if she could just buy herself some isolated breaths to stall the effects of the choke, it would go a long way in keeping her alive in this.

The luchadora couldn’t immediately tell how far she had to go to the ropes, so it was hard to know if struggling toward them would have any chance of success. So, instead, Julia attempted to roll the two of them until Suzumi was flat on her back. Then the cowgirl would plant her boots on the mat and bridge up, using the weight of her body on top of the Angel to try to force her shoulders to the mat for a pin attempt. The chances of her winning with it were next to none, but she hoped the effort it would take to kick out of the pin would either weaken Suzumi’s hold or make her break it completely.

Suzumi strained as she applied all the pressure she could to the hold, feeling Julia wriggle about. However Julia had a plan and once Suzumi realized what was going on the pin count had begun!

Cursing her luck under her breath she let go and shoved Julia to the left while rolling right escaping the pun bit also obviously having to let Julia go. Suzuki tried to get to her feet and make her way back over to Julia in an effort to swing a sharp kick right into her abdomen as she was rising to her feet!

“ONE…!”

That was as far as the ref got, but fortunately for Julia it was enough. It seemed Suzumi immediately realized her predicament and shoved the blonde aside to escape the pin. Though such a simple thing, it was a small demonstration of the Tsunami’s veteran instincts. Some might’ve held onto the hold too long hoping to get the submission, and some may not have even noticed their shoulders being pinned in time. But Suzumi was sharp enough to digest the situation and act quickly.

Not so fortunately for Julia, her foe demonstrated that aspect of herself again a moment later. The cowgirl was just up to her hands and knees when Suzumi’s foot hammered into her abdomen! “Gah!!” she gasped sharply as the blow knocked her onto her back again, legs kicking against the mat while her arms rested over the spot Suzumi had just kicked.

Suzumi's kick did the trick and she had managed to knock Julia down onto her back again! Seeing this chance Suzumi zeroed in right on Julia's legs reaching down to grab them while starting to wrap her own in between them! She wrapped both of hers around Julia's and began wrenching as she applied a figure four leg lock! Suzumi leaned back trying to work over at Julia's legs to deal as much damage as she could. The less mobile Julia was the better off Suzumi was. She spread her arms wide to make it harder for Julia to try to roll them over to reverse the pressure. Suzumi leaned back and gave it her all as she hoped to put Julia through the ringer! Anything less than a perfect match from Suzumi would meet with defeat at the hands of a wrestler like Julia, it was much the same as facing Yukiko as far as Suzumi was concerned!

The kick had dazed Julia pretty good. And by the time she noticed Suzumi moving her legs around it was already too late to stop what was coming. “Shit--AAGH!!” she cried out as she was locked into the excruciating figure four leglock! Immediately the cowgirl began to thrash about in a desperate attempt to roll the two of them over and reverse the pressure. But Suzumi was prepared for that, balancing herself to resist Julia’s efforts and put them down as quick as they started. She was stuck, unless she could get to the ropes.

Face contorting at the pain constantly stabbing at her trapped legs, Julia pushed her arms along the mat, trying to begin dragging herself toward the ropes!

Suzumi frantically shook her head as Julia was dragging the two of them closer to the ropes, so she leaned back to apply all the pressure she could doing her best to get her moneys worth from this hold! Suzumi wrenched down, screaming as she gave it her all however she did eventually hear the referee call for a rope break.

As soon as the call went out Suzumi let go of the hold, rolling backward to rise to her feet away from Julia, crouching low and motioning for Julia to come at her! "Like, I know how good you are but I am going to show the world I belong in that top tier with you!" Suzumi said as she beckoned for Julia.

Enduring the agony of the figure four while dragging herself and Suzumi across the ring was a brutally painful endeavor, but fortunately she was finally able to grab onto the bottom rope.

“ROPE BREAK!” came the call from the ref, sending a wave of relief through the cowgirl as her foe released her hold and backed away.

Flattering as the Angel’s words were, they were odd for Julia to hear. “Ya talk like I’ve already been to the top of the mountain,” she said while slowly dragging herself to her feet with the help of the ropes. She grimaced in pain every time she put weight on her right leg. That was going to be an issue, she could tell. “Girl, you’ve got it backward. I’m startin’ my climb all over again. I’m the one tryin’ to surpass you!”

She limped back toward Suzumi until she was toe to toe with the former Angel, then whipped her right hand out to try to slam a stiff knife edge chop right into her foe’s sternum!

Suzumi saw Julia coming and the speed of the strike caught Suzumi totally off guard! She staggered back a step, the loud echo of the chop reverberating throughout the arena! "Oomph! Ugh.... try this one!" Suzumi said as she moved back towards Julia, spinning around the gain momentum, sending her own chop smashing against the chest of Julia! Suzumi put everything she had in that blow showing that she wasn't going to back down from Julia in any way, and if Suzumi were the favorite in this fight she would have to show a reason why she was the favorite!
