Turn Of The Tide
"...*breathless mutterings*..."
Secluded and alone, with only the mythical life energies of the universe to keep her company whilst interpreting the layout of Tarot cards strewn before her. Shizuko only wished she were that lucky. But as it just so happened to be, the split-haired clairvoyant was occupying one of the innumerable benches within the robust AFW locker room as wrestler after wrestler passed by. Those wrestlers noticing her enough not to approach too close to her considering that she looked rather peculiar as the psychic mumbled to herself with her perfectly lined up Tarot cards in front of her. Shizu was aware that this was not the most ideal time and place to be conducting a card reading session, but an odd compulsion within her insisted that she perform a reading on her immediate future right after a rigorous training session. So she went about laying out her cards after getting dressed in her tracksuit, feeling an odd energy in the air that day.
"...there, perfectly aligned." Shizuko quietly uttered with a prideful smile after taking extra care with her cherished Tarot cards, as they were a set gifted to her from the childhood teacher who recognized and nurtured her clairvoyant abilities. Shizu being somewhat of a stickler when it comes to maintaining calmness, peace, order and serenity in everything she takes part in, including carefully positioning her cards. Sitting astride the wooden bench with each of her legs bent on both sides and her enviable rump primly seated, Shizuko finally considered herself ready to proceed. Normally she starts with more complex readings like a Pentagram or Seven Card Horseshoe Spread, but her lack of bench space severely limited her options. She wondered why the spirits didn't call her to do a card reading in the safety and tranquility of her cozy home. Regardless...the psychic medium inhaled gracefully...than exhaled slowly...and drew her first card...

Re: Turn Of The Tide
Whether it was the spirits arranging a meeting or just dumb luck... possibly air headed luck in this case.... Shizu was about to be interrupted unwittingly by a well meaning intruder! Suzumi arrived and was clad in her wrestling gear, unscheduled for a match but eager to fill in for any injuries that might have popped up. Bouncing around she was bout to put her gym bag in her locker when she realized some of her training gear had failed out earlier! "Like what the hell!? I totally need to find my stuff!" Suzumi said as she began to check underneath benches searching for a sports bra and a couple runaway kneepads.
The sports bra and one kneepad proved easy to find as they were on the ground one row of lockers over from where she was. However the last kneepad was proving difficult! Sure, she could just get new stuff. However this was Suzumi's lucky training gear! As she said before, she totally had to find it! Her search growing more frantic the submission specialist began checking unused lockers and scurrying about to see if it fell under anything, growing increasingly unaware of the women around her. Then she finally saw it near a corner that seemed mostly uninhabited. How did it get there? Suzumi came running around the corner, happy to have reunited with her lucky training gear, blissfully unaware that there was a woman sitting right by where Suzumi was bounding, just around the blind corner.
With that she came plowing right into some poor soul sending playing cards of some kind flying! Suzumi grabbed her kneepad, holding it up with a smile on her face as reality set back in, realizing what she had done. "Oh! Uh... hey! I am like totally sorry for running you over and stuff..... I got my runaway kneepad though!" Suzumi cheerfully said as if this woman would understand what she was talking about and treat it with the same urgency that the well meaning airhead had.

Re: Turn Of The Tide
Shizuko remained unflinching in her attempt to become spiritually attuned to the mystical forces of the universe...achieving a profound state of zen-like oneness in spite of the chaotic energy spiraling around her. Her raucous surroundings becoming phased out as the clanging of lockers and inane, gossiping banter of other lady wrestlers faded into the background as Shizuko concentrated on the card she was about to draw. The one benefit to performing a tarot card reading upon herself in the midst of this bedlam was that it provided a challenging environment for her to practice her soothsaying. But eventually she found herself ready to proceed, a transcendent aura enveloping her in her mind's eye. And with one tempered breath from her soft lips, Shizu very carefully and with utmost concentration began to lift the top card from her treasured stack of cards...
...when, with all the subtlety of a brick shattering a pane glass window, Shizu was rocked from her serene mental state and thumped forward in a bumping collision that had her precious tarot cards scattered to the wind as if it were a soul-crushing game of 52 pickup!!! The pit in her stomach becoming heavier as she gawked wide eyed and mouth agape with a breathless gasp at the fluttering explosion of her most prized possessions as if in slow motion before she scrambed into action. She promptly scurried down to her knees to start hurriedly saving her cards from the still somewhat moist tile flooring after the janitor had just finished mopping up. Concentrating the majority of her attention on saving her tarot cards, with the rest of her efforts centered on spitefully giving whoever caused this calamity a piece of her mind. "ARE YOU AS BLIND AS YOU ARE DENSE? WHAT KIND OF THOUGHTLESS DULLARD GOES BARRELING FORWARD WITH NO CONCERN WITH WHERE YOU'RE FFFFF...REAKING GOING?" Shizuko barely holding herself back from cussing there.

Re: Turn Of The Tide
Suzumi looked over at the clearly angry lady and smiled. Maybe she just didn't understand the plight of Suzumi? If she really wanted to understand Suzumi knew she had to go back to the beginning. "Like okay so...... Earlier today I was gonna take care of a few things after a commercial shoot but I was all like 'hey I should wrestle even if I am not on the card. I was gonna get my practice gear ready for a warm up in case they had an injury and needed me to head out and showcase my skills! To be ready I totally had to have my gear though and this wrestling gear is like my first set I ever wore in a ring so it totally brings me good luck!" Suzumi said as she spoke in giant excited run-on sentences, figuring in her mind that the agitated woman would somehow accept her excuse.

Re: Turn Of The Tide
Shizuko continued saving her cards from the dampened tiles below while checking for water damage with deeply analytical attention to detail, meticulously attending to each one of her fortune-telling instruments for divination. Showcasing a bit of heartbroken melancholy when she spotted hints of moisture, than daintily wagging them while blowing air at them through her pursed lips for an emergency drying. But what was perhaps more torturous than this utter travesty of misfortune...was attempting to make any coherent sense of this rude woman's inane, air-headed, whirling blabber of an excuse for her actions.
Shizu gawking upward at this vapid sounding woman with a cock-eyed gaze of utter confusion as she struggled to follow along until she was seemingly swept up in the twisting tornado of blathering words. The spiraling bewilderment of it all evident by the spinning symbols on her eyes that only an emphatic shaking of her head could undo. "AlrightAlright!!! Grah...never have I met a woman as infuriatingly obtuse as you. You're precious practice gear is as meaningless as the drivel that comes out of your mouth when compared to what you've sullied." Shizu snarled back before turning her attention back to her tarot cards, now off the floor and set up on the bench as the psychic tried putting them back into a pile.

Re: Turn Of The Tide
Suzumi had no clue what this woman was saying, shrugging in an exaggerated manner as she shook her head. What was with this lady anyway? Those cards must have belonged to a game important to her or something. "Like, I was just saying sorry! You totally get angry over nothing and there is no reason to call me a triangle or whatever! Acute, obtuse... like are there any other math class insults you are going to throw my way?" Suzumi said, starting to sound less cheerful and more unhappy that this woman just flat out refused to accept her genuine apology. Suzumi was at the point still where she was more confused than mad but if this kept up that could very well change!

Re: Turn Of The Tide
*Corners aligned...no smudges...no water damage...*
After attending to her tarot cards as well as she could without the aid of any examining tools at her disposal, Shizuko eased her cards into their carrying case with all the straining attention to detail as if she were playing a carnival crane game. No sooner were her instruments of divination properly and snugly tucked inside did Shizuko stand upright to cutely scowl at the vapid sounding source of her frustration. Suzumi's so-called "apology" followed up shortly by her trivializing her cherished cards being a clear and infuriating sign that this woman clearly knew little of why Shizuko even treasured her cards in the first place...or knew much of anything, actually.
"Well...allow me to rephrase it all than." Shizuko than vapidly flicked her hair and imitated Suzu's valleygirl-esque tone of voice in a clear dig at the Tsunami. "You, like, are just totally like...an IDIOT!!!!!"

Re: Turn Of The Tide
Suzumi sneered at this woman who was now calling Suzumi an idiot. She shook her head, having heard this more times than she could count before. It still bothered her every time she heard it. She looked at Shizuko and glared at her, standing with her hands on her hips. "At least I'm not a total snob who thinks she is way better than everyone else just because of some cards." Suzumi said keeping her gaze right on Shizuko. "I bet this idiot would wrestle circles around you in the ring, that'd make you feel real smart wouldn't it?"

Re: Turn Of The Tide
Although usually priding herself on her ability to remain level-headed and impartial towards whatever outside influences there are, Shizuko could not the same for this particular moment as she stood her ground against this insensitive buffoon trivializing her life's work. The clairvoyant scowling upward at Suzu before snatching up her tote-bag in a huff. "FINE!!! I'll take that bet, and teach you to respect other people's belongings..." Shizu bitterly retorted before turning around to stomp halfway down the aisle, but than twisted back and shouted..."AND YOU ONLY LOST YOUR LUCKY RING-GEAR BECAUSE IT FELL OUT YOUR LOCKER WHILE YOU WERE GOSSIPING ON YOUR CELLPHONE ANYWAY!!!!" ...before walking away in a huff. Her psychic premonitions giving her a glimpse as to how Suzu lost her ring-gear in the first place, Shizu not knowing what else to say her in her anger and just opted to yell that at Suzu for whatever reason.

Re: Turn Of The Tide
Suzumi shook her head, standing there with her hands on her hips. "Well then you should use your psycho powers or whatever your X-Men deal is to see that I will totally kick your ass in the ring!" Suzumi shouted back as Shiuzuko stormed off leaving Suzumi eager to step between the ropes with this woman!
