Mika Kaminashi vs Tako Musume- Does Justice taste good with Ink?

Tako Musume’s plan had been all washed up! Her Sea Scummers were defeated! Her hostage escaped! And to top it all off, she couldn’t even get her tentacles working! The Inkvader’ terrifying uniform was in tatters, with dust, soot, and small tears appearing all over her once flawless costume. Even the bubble surrounding her head had been shattered, and judging by the way her helmet had just gone up in a plume of smoke, the electronics inside them had probably been fried. The actress behind the supervillain’s persona, Hikari Hinata, could hear the soft whining of the servos inside one of her “arms”, meaning that something was wrong with it. Likely, the rest of the mechanism had become detached, which meant she would need to peel back the costume to fix it.

Despite being in a whole world of pain, Tako still had enough energy to sigh in disappointment as she would have to spend her recovery time fixing her costume...or perhaps, she might create a new one? The villains in the sentai shows always came back bigger and badder after their first defeat after all! Perhaps she could…

“ASSTEROID!!!”

“Huh?”

Before Tako cold complete her thoughts of repairing and upgrading her suit, a dark shadow would suddenly be cast over the incapacitated villain. The crowd’s cheers drowned out the questioning mutter that escaped Tako’s beak, and were it not for black visor that covered her eyes, they might have seen the look of pure disbelief on the octopus woman’s face.

“W-waitaminute! This wasn’t part of the- GAAAAACCCKKKK!!!!”

Mika’s posterior smashed right into Hikari’s stomach! The padding of the octopus costume did little to help Hikari’s lunch stay in her stomach, and it was only due to a panicked swallow that the ring didn’t turn into a disgusting mess!

With a heavy grunt, Tako flopped to her side as she hugged her stomach, coughing up a bout of saliva and gulping down air as fast as she could! The long pink-ish tentacles twitched and whirred, occasionally wrapping themselves around her legs in a manner that might have been comforting, were it not for them being completely mechanical...but it seemed like the evil villain really could control them like they were actually a part of her.

It was quite the banzai drop as the Avatar of Justice would leap off the turnbuckle, flying high like the star she was in the night sky. Out of all the Butt of Light manoeuvres, this was one of the most devastating! And it was making its official debut on the Inkvader! Mika had done this move so many times before, but not limited to just her wrestling career. The flips briefly brought a faint memory of her time as a gymnast. Mika was gifted with the ability to pivot and turn her body in just the right way, getting the kind of momentum needed to complete a trick. She knew every movement, every shift of force and the required propulsion. This didn't come naturally, though. In her eyes, everyone is talented. But one has to put in the due diligence to become great. And that was putting the hours of practice. Not just on the thick mats at her old gymnasium or the small memory foam mattress in her bedroom. Every single trick has been honed and sharpened countless times to get it right. To get it to the point where it is automatic. It was this dutifulness and hardworking attitude that has won her many awards and gold after all.

And Mika hasn't missed a step either, still doing it just the way she liked it, performing a 720 flip that had the crowd watching in awe. She was like a falling star that captivated the masses. Right until it lands down to the ground like a meteor.

Mika's ears didn't process Hikari's pleas, the deed was done and her butt hammered down onto her abs with deadly force. Involuntarily acting as a landing mat, Mika let a sigh of relief as she rose to her knees, giving a superhero pose to the crowd while Tako rolled onto her side. "JUSTICE IS SERVED!!" The Friction audience definitely gave a massive cheer to that one. Mika's ears did catch the heavy coughing and wheezing behind her, but she couldn't tell if she was playing it for the cameras or if she really did have the wind knocked out of her. Then again, she remembered how thick the padding was on Tako's suit, and it didn't have this much give before.

So Mika would simply turn round and attempt to go for a pin, rolling Tako onto her back as she hooked her leg up in the air. But unbeknownst to the crowd, Mika wanted to hide the fact that she was talking to her opponent. Much as they really played up the hero and villain in this story, it was still an act. And she had to make sure of something. "Hey, you did great, love. You feeling good?"

“Oh carp…”

Hikari’s insides felt as though they were going through a painful roller coaster filled to the brim with pointed edges and bouts of flame! The lower set of her ribs ached from the sudden impact, and her breakfast couldn’t make up its mind whether to stay in her knotted stomach or escape through her mouth. Bile had already jutted to the top, searing her throat and tongue with a disgustingly bitter taste that burned like the acid in her stomach. Thanks to that surprising stunt, Hikari felt the worst bout of heartburn she had ever suffered, to the point she almost wondered if the stomach acid actually was eating away at her body. Setting aside those fears, all she could do was try to enjoy the cold canvas and pray it could help cool her overheated body off!

The cheers of the crowd were deafening as Mika posed over the defeated monster's body. A fine distraction to let Hikari recover from the surprise finisher, the octopus woman holding everything together as best she could. The urge to throw off her helmet was overwhelming, the heat inside from the overheating machines feeling as though it was cooking her brain! But instead she unbuckled the hidden latch, and subtly adjusted it to allow some air to flow through. Heat escaped quickly as she flicked the power switch off and the helmet’s eyes died. The servos whirled into silence as the machines in her suit were robbed of power in favor of the actors comfort. They had done their job, and the curtains were about to be called.

The hero would hook one of Tako’s legs, pinning her properly and getting the referee’s attention. Mika apparently took the chance to lean into her opponent's ear and asked if she was alright. There was a split second urge to lash out at her, but Hikari pushed that feeling down and simply whispered back to Mika.

“Cool move. But next time...please give me some warning. I think I’m gonna be sick…”

The crowd seemed ecstatic that their beloved lightbringer was trapping the vile villain after a long and tenuous battle of good versus evil! The minions of the sea devil lay defeated, and the Octopus woman seemed to be conquered by the bright and shining hero!

“1!”

“2!”

“But...you were an amazing hero Mika. It was an honor to play as your villain for the night.”

“3!”

And with that final count of the pin, the crowd erupted into an even louder chorus of cheers and praise for the Lightbringer. A happy ending to what was a fun and thrilling battle between two extreme personalities the likes of which few have seen in the ring! Each one giving it their all to ensure the audience's entertainment, and the fight that took everything out of them! But, that was the job of Performers...and they lived for the applause~

Mika was correct in her assumptions, and it was a good idea that she would perform a cover-up pin that would at least let her ask if she was okay. Usually, Mika would have given a fitting superhero pose, something to cap the exciting battle between hero and villain. The crowd were absolutely ecstatic as they counted with the referee. Mika’s Assteroid finisher would be the stuff people would make gifs off from. But it was devastating for a reason, and something kids should never try at home. Mika was lucky that she didn’t cause even more harm to Hikari. At the end of the day, she was a performer, just like her. And she wanted to do something to respect the Inkvader.

Mika Kingsley would have expected Hikari to lash out at her since this was somewhat unplanned and done in her expense. But she was respectable to the end, and Mika was grateful for that. The referee started the pinfall, and the crowd chanted while they talk out of earshot from the microphones.

“1!”

“Sorry about that, love. It was a spur of the moment idea I had.”

“2!"

Mika smiled when Hikari gave that compliment. The referee counted three, and the match was declared over. The audience gave their cheers as the hero succeeds over Tako. Mika could have been lavishing in the moment of triumph, soaking in the applause…but she remained at Hikari’s side, not yet getting off her.

“And you, a brilliant villain. A massive honour to perform with you tonight. Thank you.”

The battle was over. Good had triumphed over evil, and the crowd showered their hero with great amounts of praise and cheers. Mika’s name rang off the walls as the Lightbringers fans applauded her victory as the remainder of Tako’s Sea Scuttlers picked themselves up and retreated backstage. Like most comic book and cartoon endings, the forces of evil were retreating back into the darkness they came from, with only the mastermind herself left to pick herself up and flee the scene.

No one could hear the exchange between Mika and Tako, but soon the Hero would rise for her adoring public, and the octopus girl would use the distraction to make a hasty retreat. Despite being defeated, her mischievous grin could still be seen as she ran up the same ramp her minions escaped from. As soon as she reached the top, the villain turned, looking to add the final note to this amazing experience of a battle.

“You Scummy Lightbringer! I promise, I’ll make you swim with the fishes someday! You can bet your beak on it!”

And with that final promise of revenge, the villain dashed around the corner. Letting the lights, the crowd, and the music celebrate the victorious hero.
