Strategy: Raine brings a great deal of determination into her matches but her ring finesse and shot calling leaves something to be desired. As an extremely fresh faced talent, much of her wrestling style is very much under development but she refuses that from letting it stop her competing against any and all challengers. Her knowledge of fundamentals is surprisingly sound, allowing her to hold her own against low and mid card wrestlers decently enough. She is a fast learner, especially when backed into a corner. It would be unwise to underestimate her, even though she is a green as grass rookie.

Personality: She carries herself with a sense of grace and nobility despite any real power of wealth coming strictly from her character's backstory. Regardless of that though, she has a strict knightly code of chivalry she swears to uphold in battle, sticking to it for better or worse. As such, she will never back down from a challenge nor will she stand idly by when injustices are being done. It is her hope to one day gather up a following of like minded wrestlers under her banner to one day become a force of power within AFW. For now though, she does her best to do right by Akane, her one and only follower. She has a tendency to get her in way over her head… But that's okay. Everything is a learning experience!

Past/History: Izumi is a dreamer. She has always been a dreamer. She loves to insert herself in nearly anything she experiences, be it books, movies, or games. She can always envision herself as the lead role, helping to overthrow the evil queen or saving the world from an ancient evil. It was her long of RPGs that lead her here. What had started as simple cosplay overtime evolved into something more.

What if she could be one of those heroines in the stories and vanquish evils? She often found herself asking that question. She even googled that very thing and was disappointed to find a saddening lack of renaissance fairs in Japan. Didn’t they know she had fantasies to live out? That was when she was turned onto wrestling. Unplanned, unscripted, pure adventure.

Did she have any experience? No. Did she have a clue how to be a good wrestler? Not even one. That didn’t stop her from signing with AFW as Tension’s newest piece of fresh meat with no real idea what she was getting into. It’s okay though. She gets to be her roleplay character now, and play to her heart’s content!


Fun Facts:

Level Advancement: Raine actively improves as she competes, increasing her statistics as well as earning new wrestling moves along the way. While wins might reward her the most, even a loss can grant her some insight for improvement.
