Yukari "Ao-Oni" Tooru vs. Cicilia "The Juggernaut" De'Reignhardt - Dangerous Encounter

Before she could even drop onto her knees after taking the devastating blow to her belly, Yukari's wrist was tugged by Cicilia, keeping her standing. Still gasping for air, Yukari was barely aware of what was going on, still having difficulty to breathe thanks to the punch that she took earlier. Forcing herself to look in front of her, she saw her opponent preparing herself to launch her next attack. Due to her condition, she was unable to come up with a way to defend herself against whatever Cicilia would throw at her next.

Sure enough, Cicilia then tugged her back, sending Yukari closer to the boxer before she took a massive punch right into her head! "UUURGHHHH!!!" The sheer impact from the blow threw Yukari down into the mat hard, and for a moment, her vision blacked out before seeing the lights above the arena. The power of the punch was simply mind-blowing that Yukari was unable to think straight after taking it directly.

And Cicilia wasn't even done yet! After nailing the punch right into her head, she went down and put Yukari in an armbar, causing intense pain around her arm. "Aaaaaghhh... aaarghhhh!!" Yukari screamed out in agony, the throbbing pain in her head made it hard to focus on enduring the hold. Things were getting more and more difficult for the blue demon at the moment, but for the time being, she didn't show any sign of tapping out.

Everything went off without a hitch remarkably... and what was even more remarkable was that Yukari was still awake and conscious by the time the Juggernaut got her in that arm-lock! That new punch of hers was probably stronger and faster than her Train-Wrecker and yet she took it and still had energy enough to stay awake... Most full-grown men didn't have that kind of power!

Heh... This is going to be fun... She was meeting stronger people all the time despite her spotty win/loss record. It seemed that whoever was looking out for her in the AFW (all hail Mariah and Bubbles), they were giving her what she needed: Strong, not fucking crazy nut-jobs that she could actually enjoy fighting... This one was especially tough... She took a skull-crushing punch right to her face and she didn't even so much as BLEED... To be honest, that was kinda intimidating...

But in the way a good amusement-park ride was intimidating.

Even with her head busted, her worldly awareness just now coming back to her, the blue demon found the breath to cry out in agony as her arm was bent back in an awkward position. If Cicilia had been laid out like that (as if that'd ever happen), she wasn't certain she'd bounce back with such vigor! She found herself wondering she should have just gone for a headlock... knocked her out then and there and end this quickly...

"You can call it now." She offered with a grimace of effort, steadily cranking back Yukari's arm more and more into the lock. "No shame in it..." The Juggernaut was cautious not to do anything permanent, keeping careful tabs on Yukari's arm bones and joints. She didn't want to break them... just cause enough pain to get her to submit.

Despite taking quite a massive blow to her head, Yukari was still lucid enough to be aware of her surroundings, but thinking was quite a difficult task for her due to her painful headache thanks to that punch earlier. Due to this, she was able to react to having her arm wrenched in the armbar, and she let out a cry of pain the more Cicilia put her in the hold.

While Yukari might be quite resilient, she was aware of her own limit, and she knew that sooner or later, the armbar would become more unbearable for her, which would force her to tap out. Hearing Cicilia's words, the blue demon had to come up with a decision as quickly as possible if she ever wished to escape this hold. While she wouldn't escape this unscathed, she had to try regardless.

With her arm being trapped between Cicilia's legs as she wrenched said arm, Yukari would move her free hand, looking to grab at one of Cicilia's foot, looking to give it a rough twist. This wouldn't work well as a hold, but at the very least, the sudden twist would catch the boxer off-guard, allowing Yukari to break free and give herself a moment to recover.

The Juggernaut was somewhat confused as it what to demon was trying to accomplish by fiddling with her ankle, wrenching it this way and that. Was she trying to get free or something...? Yeah, it ached with each jerk but with neither leverage nor the aide of the other hand, Yukari would be hard pressed to cause enough pain for the Juggernaut to release her from her jaws. Cicilia could feel the girl's arm getting weak... and with the frustrating discomfort of the demon tugging on her boot, her self-control was starting to wane too... The temptation to just pull back harder to stop this stupidity was great... so great that she had to release the hold for her opponent's sake... and her own. She didn't want to get disqualified and she was pretty damn sure Yukari didn't want an arm-cast.

With a grunt, Cicilia would finally release her prey from her crushing grip, rolling back up to her feet as Ao Oni would take this time to recover her strength. It was probably a bad habit of hers to keep doing this, but she would allow the blue-skinned girl her time to get her strength back. She was a good sport, after all... or maybe just arrogant. It was a very good start to her match... She might've just disabled that arm! Not likely... maybe if she kept the pressure up for a little longer... but possible.

Cicilia would back away a bit, her expression unchanging as she leaned up against the ropes at the edge of the ring, her arms crossed as she waited for her opponent to gather herself. Some fans "OOOOOOO"-ed out in the audience, as if Cicilia were showing some sign of disrespect! Others just smiled and cheered!

The Boxer just stood there and waited... so the fight could begin in earnest.

It turned out that her effort didn't do much, and Yukari was soon released from the hold by Cicilia. Groaning on the mat, the blue demon brought her unhurt hand to her aching arm, trying to nurse it as Cicilia got back up and went to the ropes, seemingly showing disrespect to the Ao-Oni.

"Tch..." Not liking what had transpired so far, Yukari would then force herself to get back up on her feet, still feeling sore around her arm. Added with her head still throbbing from the punch earlier, she almost buckled under her weight, but she kept forcing herself to get back up, and before long, she managed to regain her footing as she would turn to face Cicilia who was at the ropes.

From the look of it, her arm might not be injured from the hold, but still, putting strain on it wouldn't be a good idea. Keeping her eyes on her opponent, Yukari would then take a stance, hoping that this time, she would get things right and show it to her opponent that she wasn't one to be trifled with.

Cicilia cocked an eyebrow as Yukari struggled to her feet... and "struggle" was attributed in no small way. She looked as if she was going to fall back to the floor mid-way back up but through some miracle and/or sheer willpower, the demon managed to pull herself together and stand once again.

The boxer lowered herself back down into her battle stance, but like before, she didn't move to approach. That pain might've make the ogre weaker (or at least seemed too), but she wasn't about to take chances. She'd wait for her opponent to come to her, attacking the moment she got within range! This time, when Yukari drew close, Cicilia would lash out with a quick kick to her gut, a wild, untrained kick, but one not lacking in power at the least!... merely precision. It was as strong as her punches if not stronger, aiming to double over Yukari and take her down once again!

It was a tactic of hers, to hammer at a single spot until the opponent broke. It was the easiest... if most predictable way to bring someone down.

Yukari tried to keep her focus on Cicilia, which took quite a great effort considering that she felt like she was seeing double at the moment. Still, she knew what to do next as she would prepare herself to take whatever her opponent would try to throw at her next.

Prior to her becoming a wrestler, both her and her partner, Shizuka, joined a wrestling dojo for an extended period of time to prepare themselves for the big league like AFW. Despite her being a relative rookie compared to most wrestlers here in this promotion, Yukari had shown herself to be quite a promising one, and it was safe to say that Yukari was fairly skilled in the arts of wrestling.

So, when she saw Cicilia going for the kick, she saw what her opponent was about to do, and it was clear that despite the force behind it, the kick seemed to lack something. Yukari could see where it was going, and she would prepare herself for it as she would try to avoid the kick by shimmying aside before advancing forward, hoping to counter Cicilia's move with her own.

Extending out her arm, Yukari would try to bring the boxer down with a short-arm version of a clothesline, smashing her arm right into that chest of hers. Hopefully, she would be able to take Cicilia down with the clothesline, thus giving the blue demon an advantage over her opponent.

Yeah, Cicilia figured that her kick wasn't going to land. It wasn't her strong suit, after all what with her being a boxer and not one of those taekwondo rejects. Yukari shifted to the side despite her double-vision, able to just barely avoid a boot slamming into her chest this-is-sparta style, leaving the German slightly off balance as she moved to retract it! At the same time, the ogre attempted to rush her down, arm extended to SMACK Cicilia across the chest in a clothesline... Only instead of striking the boxer's generous rack, it instead connected with a pair of forearms shooting up to defend their owner! Cicilia was used to this striking game as it was her forte in the way she fought... Yukari was either too out of it to notice or simply didn't care, but the Juggernaut would NEVER be defeated in a full-on slug-fest! She had been training harder than ever to improve her defense, in actually blocking hits instead of just taking them... She had been more and more determined to improve since her win/loss record hit an intimidating equilibrium, and the fruits of such training was coming to the surface!

Cicilia would, however, stumble back from the impact, her lack of balance only further emphasized by the blow from her opponent, forcing her to retreat a couple steps to retain her stance.

"Tch..." She tsked, frustrated that her momentum had been broken. Still, Yukari didn't look like she had recovered greatly from that punch... or if she did, it wasn't obvious. She had to be cautious of her grapples... If she was pinned to the ground, she wouldn't have much to defend herself with... Cicilia raised her hands, approaching the blue-demon inch by inch... before one of her fists lashed out in a lightning fast jab at her jaw, testing Yukari's own defense!

It turned out that strikes didn't work properly against Cicilia, and Yukari's clothesline was blocked by the boxer's arms. Grunting, Yukari would immediately step back, looking to give herself a solid footing, her head still throbbed from being punched earlier. While she was getting better, the unpleasant sensation still remained, making it hard for the blue ogre to focus on her opponent.

So, Yukari thought that she needed to focus on grappling her opponent instead, but before she could make her move, Cicilia launched her attack at her, which was a jab aimed at her jaw. Due to her double vision, it was hard for Yukari to see the punch coming, but she would try to step back, looking to lessen the blow from the jab.

"Urghh!!!" The attack still connected, but at the very least the impact was lessened. Still, it stung and it made it even harder for Yukari to focus. Grimacing, she planted her feet on the mat, preparing herself for Cicilia's next attack, hoping that she would be able to take it on and reverse it. The throbbing sensation made it harder for her to focus, but she remained steadfast, refusing to look weak before her opponent.

Trying to punch a war-machine into submission was as idiotic as thinking one could stop a twister by putting up a big enough wall... Nobody yet had been able to take out Cicilia in a full-out brawl and she was determined to not let Yukari be the first. To stop someone like the German... someone needed to put traps in her way, grapples that would inhibit her movement or prevent her from smashing targets to dust. Those were her true weakness...

Her jab struck the ogre right in the face at it would be then that Cicilia would move in for the kill! She fought to win, much like everyone else... and that meant ending fights as soon as possible! She didn't like to drag out battles she could end sooner rather than later, even if she was tough enough to take it that far. Upon her fist sinking into the blue-ogre's face, Cicilia would suddenly lunge in, her knee rising to SLAM into her opponent's, hoping to bend her right over! Should it connect, the Juggernaut would lock Yukari's arm under her own, yanking it back as she stepped in, doing something similar with their legs to complete an abdominal stretch! She had been advised to take on more grapples and holds if she wanted to be in the AFW Friction league, her strikes apparently becoming too... copious.

...Fucking kill-joys...

Whatever. They were probably right. She did need to diversify her repertoire... Now, if only it would work out...
