The scene of the common area of the Friction Complex was a sore sight, it wasn't the most luscious or extravagant place as most people usually spent time in the locker rooms. Though for the moment it had one bright thing there, Cecilia Northman found herself there, looking up at a screen showing a match between her younger sister Belinda and a long time rival of hers Ouka Shumisen. The two young ladies going at it in a sauna at the moment. It wasn't like she could watch it in the arena anyways. So here was as good a place at any. She had no matches booked tonight so she was mostly just hanging about to see if anything fun would happen. After all, any fun brawl could liven up a day.

She would fold her arms under her impressive rack as she looked on at the battle between the blond and the redhead, it was getting more intense by the minute. Though Cecilia's thoughts did wander, she wondered a bit what she would do now. She was a former Friction Hardcore Champion and a former Friction World Champion. It wasn't like there was any more prestigious belt in AFW...so she could try and get it back maybe? Alison was a tough foe and Cecilia would love to get her hands on the raven haired cocky beauty and take her down. Though, for the moment she was content, after all she had her relationship with Karina to enjoy herself with, and of course...Odessa would without a doubt want payback for her defeat.

Her thoughts wandered yet again, thinking on the way that her sister had improved and how she was currently a Tag Team Champion along with Chelsea Loski. It was a rather impressive accomplishment....she let out a little sigh, of relief maybe? Perhaps joy? It was hard to tell with Cecilia. Though she did have a half-smile on her face.

Alaina exit the locker room clad in her wrestling attire, ready for a match later on. She spoke to a few of the workers she knew behind the scenes, saying hello and checking up on them to see what was new. As Alaina spoke and made her way to a more open area she saw a match on T.V. It was Belinda, and Alaina smiled as she hoped that Belinda would emerge the winner. Alaina would pause a bit as upon her approach she saw Cecilia watching the match. She recalled her last meeting with Cecilia and how the two women had rubbed one another the wrong way. The two women had come to something of an understanding afterward but Alaina still clearly viewed Belinda as her favorite Northman.

Alaina came up and stood near Cecilia. "Hey there, how have you been? Keeping busy and such I imagine?" Alaina asked, doing her best to be pleasant. She knew Cecilia had recently lost the Friction Title due to shady means, and Alaina wasn't about to mock her for that. She thought Cecilia should have won against Alison Seong.

Cecilia was lost in thought and would be snapped out of it at the approach of the Amazon, as Alaina Sanders came up and stood near her, talking to her. The blond would shake her head a little to clear her own mind as she then turned and looked towards the brunette. " Oh, it's you." Cecilia spoke out as she would return to watch the match.

" Don't really know. Can't say I have been keeping too busy if I'm honest. Been slow moving since Summer Splash." Cecilia spoke out as she would glance over at Alaina. " You?" Cecilia would ask, in truth the blond had been keeping busy as she had challenged Kyoko Akan again. Though that was about it for now.

Alaina stood and shrugged. "I've been trying to sort of keep my name out there and work my way up the ladder." She answered and nodded as she went over some of the past few matches in her head. "I did sort of avenge an old tag loss with Julia by beating Akiha and Gwendolyn which was nice."

Alaina shift her weight as she looked up at the TV and continued to watch Belinda's match. "Belinda and Chelsea are having a nice run aren't they? Sonic Boom never quite got to where we hoped before Julia left for home and right now teaming with Peggy has had some growing pains." Alaina said as she kept watching her friend up on TV.

Cecilia looked over at Alaina as she heard how the girl was trying to climb her way back up the ladder, something that caught Cecilia's attention, then it came to the woman talking about her exploits in the ring as of late. Especially against Akiha and Gwendolyn, the blond powerhouse would nod a little. " Congrats. " She spoke out as she continued to watch the match.

With Alaina shifting her weight and then speaking, Cecilia's attention would be once more turned towards the Amazon. " So things are going well for you as a singles competitor but not as a tag one? At least you got out of that huge slump you where in, heh." Cecilia asked as she would fold her arms back underneath her impressive rack.

Alaina cringed a bit and watched in silence for a moment. She had a rough start to her career as well as a nasty slump after she lost the Entropy title. Alaina hated thinking about it and having it brought up stung a bit. "Yeah. I am glad that is over. Right now though I feel good and have adjusted things to be successful again. I feel like I can take on just about anyone inside the ropes." Alaina said, making sure to look over at Cecilia as she spoke.

The blond raised an eyebrow again as she would hear those words of Alaina, she would throw on a smirk on her face. Hearing that the Amazon was back in fighting action was a good thing, when she was at the peek of her career as that Entropy Champion, the blond powerhouse had had an eye on her...which faded after that slump.

Yet, hearing that confident tone from Alaina caused Cecilia to finally turn her head and focus on Alaina. " Is that so? Taking on the likes of Akiha and Gwendolyn is one thing...but there are far tougher women in this league." Cecilia said with a cocky smirk plastered on her face. Of course she was thinking about herself, and maybe the likes of Odessa, Alison, Kyoko and Karina.

Alaina smiled and shift her weight as she appeared to be anxious. "I don't know, you underestimate those two I think. Who around here do you think is really that much better in the ring?" Alaina asked, genuinely curious to know what was going on in Cecilia's mind at this point. Of course Alaina knew that Cecilia saw herself as #1, she always had and always would. It was a given. However it was the other women Cecilia considered to be in her league that Alaina was curious about.

Cecilia would roll her eyes a bit at the brunette's question as she would look back to her. Raising an eyebrow as she would look on at the face of the Amazon for a few moments. " You're looking at the best, but besides myself." Cecilia would let out a little sigh.

" Odessa Brock is pretty strong, Kyoko Akan as well, Adrian Kytes, Death Bunny, Karina. Maybe one or two more..." Cecilia spoke as she would list of some of the fighters she thought were the best in Friction.

Alaina nodded and stood with her hands on her hips, taking a small step forward. "The women I've fought with are just as good as them. I'm also just as good as you I think." Alaina said with a shrug. "I can prove it too. If you stepped in the ring with me I'd put you in your place. Just ask Belinda how hard I hit, how powerful I am. I'm every bit the woman you are in the ring."
