Giulia La Rocca vs Kyo Akamatsu - Grudge In Chains

Giulia had been determined to start this match off in a dominant fashion, but it had turned out that Kyo wasn't as easily reduced to being just an actor playing out that plan as the Italian had hoped for. First he had managed to kick out of her suplex attempt, and then his knee hade made Giulia's life more painful. But she could have not afforded to let him take charge right from the start, and instead placed all her bets on lifting him up, only to slam him down on his front right away.

Luckily, this time her plan worked. Kyo had clearly had other plans in mind than taking flight, and the surprise effect guaranteed that the Italian managed to showcase her signature strength. Getting quickly back up, Giulia smirked as she watched him rolling away for a while - but only for a short while before the chain made sure he would not be slipping too far away. And that was a good enough reason to start approaching him again. "I think you should have -..."

But before she could finish her words, Kyo had already shot his legs out. And as a grim reminder of her height, the Japanese guy effortlessly locked them around her head, and sent the Italian promptly to the mat. The girl had absolutely not prepared for this at all, and now she had to pay for it in the form of immense pain rushing through her head. After the impact, Giulia only rolled over on her back with her arms and legs spread, clearly staying down for a moment. A moment that her aching brain could use to remember, that already in their previous encounter, Kyo had had a formidable brain of his own... And it was apparent that it was still there.

Kyo's chest was hurting from that last impact, and his forehead was throbbing a little as well-- if Giulia had hit him any harder, then he would have probably been stunned for a good minute or two. It was still early in the match, though, and despite that hit, Kyo's instincts were still good-- good enough to use his own legs to powerful effect, snapping Giulia's head between them and ramming her face first into the ring.

Moving quickly, Kyo rolled back to his feet. Seeing that Giulia was down, he wasted no time on crawling across her, hooking one of her powerful thighs for the pin. In an instant, the ref girl was next to them. "ONE..."

Kyo's acrobatic and unpredictable moves had provided Giulia with a grim reminder of the Japanese fighter's brainpower. It had proved to be costly for her time and time again in their previous encounter, and honestly, it was something that the Italian had to admire deep down inside. But despite that, now it was plainly just a threat to her, something that she had to overcome. And her best bet? Trying to overpower him, obviously...

For a moment, Giulia appeared to be clearly down from Kyo's sudden move. For a moment, it looked like she was vulnerable to anything that was coming at her... But it was only the early stages of the match indeed, and Giulia's predicament was not exactly as bad as it looked like. Thus, the moment she felt her leg getting hooked, and the referee shouting out the one count, the Italian kicked out powerfully from the pinning attempt, proving that she was not about to go down this easily.

Frankly, Kyo's attempt served more as an infuriating factor for her if anything. The way she had lost to Kyo by a surprising and quick pinfall in their previous match was still vividly in Giulia's memory, and his pinfall attempt now was something the Italian did not want to see again. Thus, immediately after kicking out from the new attempt, the Italian tried to quickly roll on top of Kyo's back, and see if she could loop the chain around Kyo's neck... Only to scare him out, if nothing else.

Just as the count reached one, Kyo felt Giuia's short yet powerful body surge with tension beneath him, the muscles in her leg seemingly powering up in his grip-- and then he was flung off of her with a simple yet powerful kickout that sent him rolling off. He took a deep breath. He had figured that Giulia wasn't about to be pinned yet, and that suited him fine: he could battle it out with her in the ring as long as he needed to, and he intended to prove that today. He rolled, getting too his hands and knees...

...only to feel Giulia's weight suddenly press down against him, pressing him to the mat. Before he knew what was going on, he felt cold iron around his throat, and realized, with a panic, that she was wrapping the chain around it! She couldn't do that, could she? He never got an answer, as he felt the iron links dig into his throat, and a second later, he was gagging for breath, pawing at the chain as Giulia tried to throttle him with it.

His self defense instincts kicked in. He gritted his teeth, breathing through his nose as he struggled under Giulia. He grabbed at one of Giulia's wrists with one hand, and reached back, feeling for the back of Giulia's hair with the other, before pulling, hoping to flip La Forza Italiana over him onto her back. If he managed back, then he would breathe hard and quickly try to get even, trying to wrap a rear naked choke hold on Giulia in return...

Giulia had many reasons to do what she had decided to try out now. First of all, payback. Payback for the pinfall attempt, one that had gotten her temper flaring. The said temper was the obvious second one. Third, she wanted to scare the shit out of the guy. Just for fun! Fourth, she really wanted to play with the chain, now that she had it. And fifth, she was actually curious of the feasibility of such a move in the first place...

Now could she actually do that? Why not!?! Fair enough, it wasn't the most conventional of moves. The chain could have been considered a weapon... But. This was her challenge. These were her rules. And if she wanted to use the chain to paralyze Kyo, then she was totally free to do so!

Unfortunately, the effect of the chain wrapping around the guy's neck was just not what Giulia had predicted. He did not become paralyzed, frozen from terror. Instead, the Samurai decided to live up to his name, and in no time the Italian was suddenly flipped over on her back!

Before Giulia could recollect herself, Kyo's arm was in turn already wrapping around her neck! It did prompt her to jolt a few times, but it was too little too late. Her fingers could only desperately grab the Samurai's arm, trying to pry it off... But escaping choke holds was definitely not one of Giulia's strengths, and that was enabling Kyo to gain much sweeter payback of his own now...

His escape was a quick yet simple affair, one that anyone with any degree of judo would have done reflexively. As much as he was tempted to return the favour and apply the chain to Giulia, however, even he had his standards-- at this stage, he was not going to sink to Giulia's level by strangling her with the chain. So instead he locked in a rear naked choke, the crook of his arm pressing against his opponent's windpipe. The Italian girl gasped and squirmed, her fingers digging into Kyo's arm as she fought to pry herself loose. For a few seconds, Kyo's teeth were gritted as he fought to maintain the pressure on his strong opponent, wearing her down even as she pried away at his arms.

Then, all of a sudden, he released Giulia, hoping the sudden change would disorient her. Pulling on the chain to pull her to her feet, he would yank hard on the chain to pull her towards him-- and immediately kick up, aiming to nail her hard in the face or the chest to hopefully floor her and leave her nicely stunned in the process.

If the situation hadn't been such a tricky one, Giulia's annoyance levels would have been on a steady, rapid increase right now. Her decision to have a little fun with the chain had backlashed her in no time, and to make matters worse, Kyo was determined to pay back at least equally the trick the Italian had wanted to try out. Well, except that he was doing it in a much more honorable way. Of course.

But despite her fuming, Giulia found no way out. She knew she had to, as her oxygen reserves were being consumed at an alarming pace. It was obvious that despite of the Italian doing her everything to get out, the strength behind her effort was steadily decreasing due to lack of air...

But just as suddenly as he had locked in the choke hold, Kyo simply just let it go. The thankful Italian was quickly gasping for air - before a sudden yank at her arm reminded of the existence of the chain. It was obvious that he wanted her up. Honestly, Giulia was far from ready for that, but it was apparent that she had no other choice. Reluctantly, the Italian got up, and turned to face Kyo with her eyes barely open, before...

*SMACK*

Kyo's kick sent Giulia immediately falling on her back. The impact right to her face was devastating. Luckily, it was not enough to knock her out, but the tiny Italian powerhouse was staying firmly sprawled on the mat for now.

The crowd almost winced as Kyo's boot slammed into Giulia's face, sending the Italian sprawling onto her back. Up until now, the two wrestlers had been going back and forth, escaping from and trading moves in an evenly matched dance in the square circle. Kyo's sudden snap kick had changed that, though. It was a sharp announcement, to the crowd and to Giulia, that he wasn't playing around, that he had come here to win this match and wasn't about to be genteel about it either. Just because he didn't use the same tactics as Giulia didn't mean he was going to be nice about it...

Seeing that Giulia was down, Kyo wasted no time, moving to lie across her and hook one of her powerful thighs for a pinfall. In an instant, the ref girl was once again next to them, starting the countdown. "ONE..."

As Giulia laid there on the mat, she had time to have a couple of thoughts. Coincidentally, after the impact she was also capable of having only a couple of thoughts. First one of them was something like "Wow, he's really angry." The second, not too far behind was "Shit, I need to up my game, and fast..." How? That question was out of the picture for now.

"ONE!"

Then, it was time for the third thought. "Oh fuck, not this shit again!"

"TWO!"

The count reached two all right, but then the seemingly devastated body of Giulia sprang alive, kicking out of Kyo's second pinfall attempt. And with the same movement, the Italian rolled once over to gain a bit of distance to the Samurai. But she knew she couldn't just let the match keep on going like this. She had to do something. So, provided that Kyo had remained within reach, she would try to snap her legs around the guy's head. And even if he wasn't within reach, that was something a pull from the chain could have fixed, right?

It was no effort at all to wrap Giulia's smaller form up for a pin after hitting her with that snap kick to the face like that. Folding her powerful legs over, Kyo let his weight settle atop Giulia as the ref girl started her countdown. The match was still early, though, and he figured that someone of Giulia's calibre would probably kick out of his little pin attempt...although even if she did, he doubted she'd be able to do much after that boot to the head.

Sure enough, Giulia kicked out, the force behind her legs momentarily throwing Kyo off of her. Dropping back onto his hands and knees, Kyo pushed himself upright, ready hoist Giulia up by the chain...

...only to gasp as Giulia's legs suddenly shot out, latching around his head! Before Kyo knew it, he was pulled down onto his front, his head imprisoned by Giulia's powerful thighs as his Italian opponent suddenly ensnared him in a head scissor! He went red, partially from the powerful squeeze of Giulia's legs, and partly because his positioning, right at Giulia's crotch, left him looking forward along the length of his opponent's fit, and rather busty, lycra-clad body.

Gritting his teeth, Kyo tried to pry Giulia's legs apart. If somehow he managed that, then he would waste no time in grabbing one of Giulia's boots, stepping over her leg to intertine it between his and rolling over, hopefully flipping Giulia into her front cranking back on her trapped heel in a leg lock. Otherwise, if he failed to escape, then Kyo would simply use the chain to help try to lift Giulia's body off the mat and then slam her down again, back-first, in the hopes that it would make her let him go.
