Ryu had needed all his self control to swallow his pride and quietly accept the crazy girl's challenge, instead of instinctively fighting back here and now... which would just give her an excuse to torture him furtherly while he was too weak to struggle.

And so, he just silently fumed at the final insult of her "bye bye jobber", thinking to himself that he would get revenge in due time.
