Strategy: Having fun is always the most important thing to Annette when it comes to competition. She has the drive to win, but never sees a need to go beyond what’s necessary. Combining her knowledge of beach wrestling and volleyball, Ann often engages in lock-ups and will attempt to steer her opponent to the ground, sidestepping and making use of deft evasion for those that are too strong for her. Once on the ground, she’ll wear them down with tight holds, agonizing scissors. She’ll throw in a stiff kick and the occasional, elementary slam to keep them disoriented when she suspects their regaining her footing. It's also hard for her to resist peppering the air with sultry, teasing words and close contact. Using intimacy to lower opponents guard and lock in a tight submission is a common move, one that many wrestlers seem to fall into with curious regularity.

Cheerful and outgoing, Annette is as warm as the sunny beaches she grew up with. Every encounter for her is a chance at making a new friend, a valuable partner, or a friendly rivalry. She does almost everything in good fun, yet tries to be as good a friend as possible to those that place trust in her. Despite the way she carries herself and the bonanza of compliments she’s received over the years, she’s rather humble about her looks. She’d never use them to try and take advantage over another and does her best to remain open and honest. As a naturally positive person, she fumbles somewhat when she’s the target of negativity and will often attempt to back out before feeling the need to defend herself.

She’s also an incredibly active person, seemingly always on the move during the day, be it for exercise or to simply enjoy city life. As a natural urban explorer, she excites herself on uncovering local gems and being as sociable as possible. From humble beginnings as the daughter of a small-town artisan, Annette grew up by the sea in Stavanger. She could always be described as a vibrant girl, as popular with the girls as she was with the boys, and never far from a group filled with laughter. Her days were spent on sun-filled beaches while she danced her nights away with her closest friends on the warm weekends. She wanted for little and lived each day to the most.

Combining her natural athleticism with her love of the sea in high school, she inevitably took up beach volleyball, tacking on swimming alongside that the following year. Though she was never a star player in either sport, her looks and radiant personality nevertheless kept her incredibly popular amongst the student body. Well after graduation, she’d continue to compete in relatively smaller leagues and off-the-cuff play sessions with the locals.

It hardly came as a surprise that she was eventually offered a modeling contract with Fate, one of Norway’s premier fashion magazines. What did come as a surprise was how quickly she adapted to the various poses and techniques for playing to the wandering eye, practically a natural. Initially limited to only swimsuit modeling, her career would open up to embrace more lucrative opportunities across the country. As she was forced to move closer inland under a stricter work schedule, she turned to cycling as a way to keep her figure while also enjoying herself. Whatever days weren’t occupied with photoshoots were spent exploring the cities on her bike, taking in the venues and marking spots to liven up her nightlife.

One day, an offer from a competing brand caught her interest. To generate some mutual interest and grow their subscriptions, the brands co-opted for their first ever Fate’s Wrestling shoot. An immensely popular reception followed, and the idea caught fire. Soon enough their talents were being scheduled one match for every week of shooting. Though the matches were far from those of a professional caliber, Annette was nevertheless absorbed in the competitive energy. She brushed up on wrestling knowledge to better authenticate her shots and even offered her own “rematches” for her partners. She quickly found herself a new hobby and sought to build on her interests by dabbling in the professional scene. Time wouldn’t allow this, however.

Her agent began demanding she made better use of her popularity and expand into other areas of modeling. From swimsuits, she moved to sportswear, and beyond that found a better footing in fashion modeling. Television spots, PR stunts, and a growing list of interviews largely meant to defend the growing controversy of Fate Wrestling only limited her flexibility. With each passing her day, her longing for competition took a wild resurgence. Subtle, carnal desires began to influence her senses.

Between her personal struggles and her increasingly constrictive schedule, Annette started becoming less and less interested with the modeling business entirely. After an inevitable resignation, she emerged only a few weeks later as part of a growing indie promotion based in Oslo. Recognized for its softcore stipulations and risque nature, the league quickly grew in potential candidates and even pondered the idea of introducing a championship. Far and away one of their most popular talents, Annette struggled to keep herself above the mid-card with more skilled wrestlers entering the fray.

To fill the gap in experience, she began taking up Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, As time went on, she found better and better ways to blend her new techniques with her saucy sense of showmanship. Both in terms of popularity and athleticism, Annette etched herself as a mainstay into the Norwegian wrestling scene. It didn’t take long, however, for her to develop a craving for the larger world, wishing to expand her horizons to other venues and sample the “delicacies” of foreign lands. After only two years on the scene, her wish was granted with the arrival of an AFW scout and the chance to go professional.

A few days later, she departed for the Far East, a knowing smile on her lips and a custom travel guide in her hand, highlighting the most beautiful sights in the country. Compliments of the federation.

Fun Facts:
- Her dream is to ride in the Tour de France. Even though it isn’t likely to happen any time soon, she trains avidly, making sure to never miss the opportunity once it shows.
- Gotten into cosplaying some time after she’d made the switch to fashion modeling. She relishes the chance to show off her creativity whenever the local anime convention rolls around.
- Huge fan of Pocky sticks. Any flavor. She will always pull one seemingly out of nowhere whenever the mood strikes her, whether mid-conversation or seconds before her match.
- A closet EDM fan. Cutting loose at raves and concerts is one of her favorite hobbies.
- She's an impressive hair stylist. She'll often work free of charge if her customer’s head of hair looks particularly attractive and may even have some professional advice to share.
- She’s only ever owned one bike, ten years and counting, that she uses for basically everything. She’s had her driver’s license since she was old enough to get one, but has yet to make any practical use out of it.
