That sucked. There was no real point in pretending like it didn’t, either. Not when Hawkeye had so clearly rocked his world. For one painful, embarrassing second, he was turned in a senseless shell, barely able to stand up, but still aware enough to realize the next few moments were going to suck. There was no way she would miss an opportunity this golden.
And she didn’t. Army was just getting his head screwed on right when she sent him flying and flopping over with her Judo throw, dropping him with surprising ease. It was a simple move, but effective, and he came crashing down hard on his back with enough force to make the ring tremle.
He started to sit up afterward, only to hiss and flop back down a moment later, too dizzy to stand up right away. All the same, he had the wherewithal to start rolling to the ropes, knowing that he’d want to be as close as possible to them for this next part.

That felt good, extremely good, getting to flip a lug like Army over like that. Her judo throw was something she had taken a long time to really be able to get right, and she had never tried it on somebody his size before, and actually had to drop to one knee after, though she kept a grip on Army's wrist, which was fortunate, as he tried to roll away, stopped by her grip.
"You'll think twice about grabbing me like that again!"
She yelled, before going back on the attack, wrapping her legs around his thick arm and falling to her back. She crossed her legs, stretching his arm out, raising her hips to put his arm at an awkward angle, trying to hyper-extend his shoulder!

Moving towards the ropes was a good idea. The right idea. The only real idea. That was probably why it was so predictable, and why he should’ve gone for something else. Hawkeye was in good shape, clearly had smarts to work with, but she was smart on top of all that. Too smart to let a choice opportunity like this slip away.
He grunted as she grabbed his arm, stopping his retreat. ”Nope, probably not.” A simple reply to her, all he could get out before she pulled him in and the pain began.
Hawkeye wasn’t close to his size, but she wasn’t a waif, either, and she knew how to use what she had to great effect. The armbar was locked in tight, mixed in with a strong scissor, and when she started pulling on him with both arms...well, there was no holding back the long, agonized groan that came from his lips soon after. He could feel his tendons straining, his bones protesting the torment, threatening to come apart at any moment, and he redoubled his efforts towards the ropes. Needed to reach them, just a little bit more...

It felt good, getting a groan like that out of Army, a clear sign thst what she was doing was working, that she was still an effective fighter in her own right.
Good. Once she got a few more like that out of him, she'd hear him make the sweet sound of submission...at least, that's what she-
"Rope! Get off him!"
Hoped...Fuck.
A quick glance told her all she needed. Army had got an arm stretched far enough to touch the bottom rope, forcing her to let him go, unwrapping her legs around his arm and rolling off of him.
"Damn...can't ever be easy..."

Re: Elizabeth 'Riza' Hawkeye vs. Armando 'Army' Rodriguez - Second Shot
The ropes. Thank God for the fucking ropes.
Looking back, Army realized he couldn’t have traveled all that far to get to the ropes. They’d been off the center to start, that worked in his favor, and he had the advantage of being a big guy. If he reached his hand out in the ring, the ropes would never be all that far away.
But fuck if Hawkeye hadn’t made those six feet feel like six miles. She was relentless, pulling on his arm with surprising strength, and it felt like she would’ve yanked it clean out of the socket if she had about ten more seconds to work.
Having never gained a single submission in his wrestling career, Army knew this would be an uphill battle, but damn.
When she finally let go, Army immediately rolled away and cradled his arm, going under the ropes to the outside. He stepped away from the ring, rubbing his shoulder as he went, trying to get some feeling back as the audience heckled him. He didn’t much care, really. There were no count-outs in a match like this, he could only lose by submission, so why not take the time to heal up? Sounded like a good strategy to his ears.

Re: Elizabeth 'Riza' Hawkeye vs. Armando 'Army' Rodriguez - Second Shot
Elizabeth let out a sigh, sitting up on her butt, watching Armando immediately roll out of the ring, rubbing and checking his arm. That was...a smart move actually. She couldn't fault him for it. No way to get counted out in a submission match, so he could ignore the crowd, ignore Riza, ignore everybody until he was damn good and ready.
She crossed her legs, pressed her fingers together, looking like she was settling into a meditation pose. She waggled her fingers at him, even went so far as to blow him a kiss, trying to goad him back into the ring...but he ignored her, still taking his sweet time.
Finally, after what felt like forever (but in truth, was about 12 seconds total), Riza lost her patience. Springing to her feet, she ran...away from Army. Army, and indeed the crowd here, had never followed her indy work, and thus had no idea how often she had pulled this nugget out, bouncing off the opposite ropes and charging towards the other side, bending her head and leaping through the ropes, trying to crash her body into Army's with a suicide dive!

Re: Elizabeth 'Riza' Hawkeye vs. Armando 'Army' Rodriguez - Second Shot
[b]”Come on, get back in the ring!”
“What’s wrong, tough guy? Scared?”
Looking tired, Army!”
The crowd, of course, gave Army no small amount of shit as he took a rest on the outside, getting his arm back into working condition, but he did a good job of blocking it all out. There was little reason for him to go back into the ring right now. Even if he got inside without being jumped on, most of his offense required the full use of his arms. There wasn’t much he could do until they were both operational.
So he stayed back for the moment, waited, didn’t let her rattle him. It took some time, but after a few moments, he was ready to go in. He turned towards the ring, prepared to re-enter, and found himself staring at Hawkeye, who’d come far, far closer than he expected her to be. ”Wait-”
She slammed into him, a human missile, with more than enough impact to send him stumbling back. Army’s back crashed against the barricade and went down to one knee right away, hissing as the pain ran its course through his spine. ”Lucky...lucky shot…”

Re: Elizabeth 'Riza' Hawkeye vs. Armando 'Army' Rodriguez - Second Shot
That was a hell of a risk, for certain. For a moment, she was honestly afraid she'd just end up bouncing off of Army's hard body. But she didn't, she smashed hard into him, using her whole body as a weapon, his body proving sturdy enough that she was even able to land on her feet as a result.
"Luck? Or am I just that good?"
Riza smiled, backing away from Army, listening to the cheers, clearly having most of the crowd on her side at the moment, beaming as they chanted "ONE MORE TIME! ONE MORE TIME! ONE MORE TIME!"
"You want one more!?"
She yelled, raising her fist to the crowd, before turning and running into the ring, sliding under the ropes and getting to her feet, before charging for the ropes, rebounding off of them and charging towards Army again, aiming to dive through the ropes for a second Suicide Dive!

Re: Elizabeth 'Riza' Hawkeye vs. Armando 'Army' Rodriguez - Second Shot
Hawkeye was bigger than a lot of the waifs on the AFW’s roster, but even so, Army didn’t think she was all that big. A bit shorter than his sister and his cousin, that was for sure. He knew from painful experience that she could pack a punch, but he figured she was more of the hit and run type. Submissions and stuff, MMA-Lite. Didn’t think she would have a high-flying bone in her body.
Being wrong sucked.
Army learned exactly how wrong as he struggled to get back up, reeling from Dive. He’d be okay, he was sure of it, he just needed a second to recoup and find his bearings. Unfortunately, it seemed like Hawkeye wasn’t about to let him do that.
He was just getting up on two feet when she went dashing back into the ring, confusing him for a moment, until he saw her bounding back towards him. It was like being on the tracks with the train barreling towards him at full speed, knowing what was about to happen, but being too slow to stop. All he could do was look up and look as she went sailing through the ropes, and-
”Guh!” She crashed into him once more and the result was about as bad as last time, just made worse by the hammering his back had already taken. This time he slumped all the way down to his ass and stayed them, groaning as his spine’s protests kept him on the floor.

Re: Elizabeth 'Riza' Hawkeye vs. Armando 'Army' Rodriguez - Second Shot
Hitting Army with one suicide dive felt good, but hitting him with a second? That felt amazing. Her body, at full force, slamming into his hard body and driving him back, while thousands of people cheered? Thrilling. She had missed this place, for sure.
Unlike last time, where she landed on her feet, this time she hit the floor, her upper body pressed against his, breathing against his chest for a few seconds before pushing herself up to her feet. Letting out a loud war cry, the blonde former soldier pulled off her vest, tossing it down, leaving her with just her black bikini top to cover up, much to the fans delight.
Much as they cheered and chanted though, wanting her to do one more big flying dive, but she shook her head. Twice was enough, she had to be smart about this. The first was a surprise, the second was luck, but trying to go for a third big dive was just asking Army to counter her.
"Guess I'm full of surprises, aren't I Armando? You really sure you wanted another match against me? Bet your wishing you hadn't set up this series now, aren't you?" She teased, with perhaps a bit more malice than she really intended. Honestly, it wasn't like she hated Army. She disliked how he humiliated her, but had already gotten her payback in their last bout. But he made the challenge this time, so this was all on him.
She grabbed his head, getting her arm around it with a front facelock, trying to pull him up onto his feet. "Cmon, lets get you back in the ring and finish you off..."
