SS 18: Katori vs Patrice

Patrice was indeed in a hurry by now. Katori had managed to deliver far more efficient moves and steal more time in the spotlight than the blonde was aiming for her to have, and it was a high time for the French Actress to reverse the course of the match. This was a PPV event after all, and performing well in this battle had the potential to bring significant boost to the rookie's career.

That's why Trice took no chances on her subsequent actions. Yes, she had envisioned Katori to come charging at her with great speed, but even when that didn't actually happen, it was no reason to cancel her plans. The Mighty Successor may have been more like on a pleasant stroll here, but whatever moves she had in mind next, for sure they weren't for the blonde's benefit.

Just like the kick surely wasn't for Katori's benefit. While its impact wasn't as great as it could have been, it was still granted to hurt, and indeed sent the blunette stumbling down on her rear. That was good news, and something that the blonde should strive to capitalize on. Keeping up with kicks was the first idea popping up to Trice's mind, especially as she was still in a position to leverage the corner to her advantage. Thus, the French girl tried to quickly jump up on the middle ropes, and then to spring up from them, sending her body flying towards the sitting Katori, and trying to deliver a flying spinning heel kick to the blunette's head!

Honestly, Katori should be kicking herself right now. She had let her opponent recover too much after a good succession of moves that could have continued, but generosity and kindness (or was it overconfidence) got the better of her and now she was paying the price for it. When Katori was going to continue taking advantage of Patrice's position, she took that chance to land a Dropkick to the angel's chest, knocking her off her feet and onto her butt in a sitting position.

Granted, because of her own actions this has happened, causing the Mighty Successor to be both embarrassed and irritated with herself knowing full well it was her own fault. But the question is if she can prevent whatever's going to happen next?

The obvious answer was, no. Patrice took the initiative and acted almost immediately to start her comeback against Katori. Whom jumped off of the ropes towards the angel, who was started to push herself back up, only to get a hard kick the head which fully knocked her down onto her back! "Gah!!" Katori let out as she clutched at her head and rolled onto her side as her head blared in pain, leaving her open for Patrice.

Patrice had finally gotten Katori down, and she had every intention of keeping her down as well. The blunette had already well demonstrated her capabilities with speed and acrobacy in the match, truly displaying that she wasn't called "The Mighty Successor" for nothing. Patrice knew for certain, that if she wanted to stay in the game, she couldn't let Katori roam free around the ring.

The spinning heel kick was the blonde's solution, and it turned out to be an effective one. While the blunette did manage to start getting up by the time Trice jumped off the ropes, it was still already too late to prevent the impact. And based on what Trice saw, it surely fulfilled its task perfectly.

Now that Katori was down and reeling, Patrice wasn't about to let go. She still recalled very well how the tide had turned against her the last time, after her failed knee drop attempt, and the blonde deemed that now was the perfect chance to fix the failures of the past. Proceeding next to Katori's body, the French Actress first wanted to stomp the blunette's upper back to get her flat to the mat, before attempting to hit her lower back with a double knee drop! And if that turned out to be successful, then the French Actress could have a perfect opportunity to set Katori next up into a Camel Clutch!
