Strategy: A highly adaptable wrestler with the means and skills to keep up with most styles. She primarily seeks to exploit existing weaknesses in her opponents technique or body, or focus on weakening parts of their body to make her own. Through a mix of locks, precision striking and high mobility, she will look to wear down a targeted area on the opposing wrestler. Her overall strategy changes often, often times tailor made to combat whomever she is currently sharing the ring with. Despite her unimposing figure, as is a remarkably hearty foe that will rarely ever back down or be goaded into making reckless moves out of a clouded emotional state.

Early into a match she will primarily focus on feeling out an opponent, seeking out potential key areas of strength in her opponents to focus on removing those with her defensive techniques and counter holds. her pace tends to be methodical, disarming her opponents little by little. As her opponent weakens, she will become more brazen and aggressive, rarely allowing for much of a breather unless she and the other person have a friendly rapport. While she lacks raw strength, she has expert positioning, milking as much damage as she can get from most any slam, throw or strike she makes use of. Hiro has a zero tolerance policy for openly malicious adversaries as well as blatant cheaters and will not hesitate to dole out her own brand of justice. While she will not normally make use of weapons in matches, she believes in an eye for an eye, and will not feel bad about turning a chair on an enemy if they initiated.

Signature Moves:

Chambered Rounds: Hiro hooks her leg around one of her opponents while side by side. She throws her weight forward, rolling them backwards until she winds up in a sitting potion. She will then pull back their leg braced against her hooked shin for leverage.

Chamber Rounds:

Fan the Hammer: A series of rapid kicks of punches on a dazed opponent normally ending with a jumping savate kick.

Lock and Load: Hiro will roll an opponent over or guide them face down to the mat with a arm wrench takedown. While they lay prone, she will perform a step over scissor hold on her victim's arm before looping her arms around their head in a tight crossface hold.

Lock and Load:

H.C.I. (High Caliber Impact):Manually positioning her victim's arm over her shoulder or after a successful counter, Hiro will force her opponent to bend forward and force their own free arm down between their legs to grip it from the other side. She will then wrench them up briefly, twisting them in the air to bring them down to the canvas with a pump handle driver into a pinning position.

Personality:
Hiro comes across as being a stoic observer. She keeps her words short and direct, limiting her end of social interactions as much as possible. Thoughtful by nature, She will always try to do right by other people who deserve it. While not openly confrontational, she will step up to defend someone if needed, especially if it is someone who is being repressed.

She isn't a big fan of being touched outside of matches or any form of intimacy in general as such things run the risk of exposing their secret. She will actively try to avoid such things as politely as possible, only becoming more forward about it if necessary. Backstage she will normally keep to themselves, avoiding places like the locker rooms and opting to come changed or do so in the restroom stalls. She will normally check if a bathroom is empty before making use of the men’s room to avoid awkward moments with the opposite sex doing their business.

Deep down she still likes much of what makes up her femininity, but will rarely if ever embrace it outside of her own home when she is alone. If ever caught out of her normal attire she wears as “Hiro” she presents herself far differently in mannerisms, attire, and even her voice making it unlikely she would be noticed.


Past/History:

Hiroko didn't know much about her mother. Most of the memory of her was slowly removed from their home as she grew older. Little else beyond a wedding album and an old printed photo of a newborn Hiroko cradled in her arms, smiling down on her little angel as her father wrapped his big arms around them both. Their one and only family photo.

She doesn't remember her mother, taken from her while she was only a small child of only three years old. It could be argued she didn't remember her father either because on that day he ceased being the man he was in that faded photo. He became embittered and aloof, locking himself away to grieve in his own way while relatives were the ones to raise Hiroko the most. Aunts, uncles, grandparents, all became more of her life than her father and when he did show himself the encounters were cold.

When Hiroko was fifteen, it finally bubbled over. When searching through the attic, she happened upon a box buried among the others marked as being summer clothes. Taking the container down, she opened it up to find it filled with articles of clothing left to sit for ages that belonged to her mother. Having so little to remember her by, this had been a rather joyous occasion for her. While she hadn't quite grown into everything she found, one dress in particular stood out as being timelessly pretty, which is the one she saw to trimming for herself.

It took a few days to hem the dress to fit her, but it was perfect. She was so proud to have made it work on her own and so happy to be slightly closer to her mother. Her father however was not as pleased. He remembered the dress all too well. As Hiroko had grown up, she had begun to more and more resemble her mother. Her hair, her eyes, her figure… the last straw came with seeing her in that dress with a smile stolen straight from his dead wife, it broke his heart and his spirit. In a fit of anger and frustration, he dragged Hiroko to the bathroom and forcefully sheared away her hair. She wasn't permitted to ever dress like her mother again, in fact, she wasn't permitted to be any sort of reminder of her. To that extreme most all traces of her femininity were barred from their home. She was pulled from school and placed in another, officially enlisted as a boy.

She was enrolled in sports against her will, expected to succeed and keep herself hidden from notice. Binding her chest as she matured, changing in restroom stalls to avoid detection in locker rooms, getting physicals done outside of school for record purposes. She lived in fear that being found out would only made things worse at home. As time went on however, it became easier to play the role she was given.

Hiro, was a strong boy. Stronger than Hiroko could have been. Hiding wasn't a problem for him. He was cool, collected, different. The ultimate game of pretend became something more. A safe haven from her father, from anyone. They didn't need to know who she was now, she didn't need to worry about being judged because Hiro was her shield against the outside world. She soon came to embrace him for what it was and sought to embody it in her life.

With a focused mind Hiro excelled. Becoming an impressive football player (soccer) as well as an impressive wrestler who helped put their school in the history books for relational and national good for her Junior and senior years of high school. A model student, kept busy always to avoid having to face her father with any more news that may have upset him further. By all accounts, Hiro was a model student who was capable of going on to do any number of great things.

Of all the promise she had, her chosen path was Professional Wrestling. A place where she could continue to trend of competitive competition but avoid the scrutiny that came with being a professional athlete elsewhere. There seemed little other choice, and with Tension’s foundations built on intergender matches she face little chance of blowback if her secret was ever revealed. This was a chance to take back her life and start fresh.

Fun Facts:

Shame: Hiro is embarrassed by any traces of her femininity, feeling she isn't truly accepted. She will never go out in public dressed in a revealing way, hiding behind full clothing coverage at all time. She even goes through the trouble of binding her breasts with tight wrappings to obscure her chest. Over the years she has become adept at keeping her movements and vocal tones in line with being most masculine than she actually is.

She still has a fascinating with more “girlie” things however. Sometimes seen window shopping around town for fashions she would like to wear one day or various other accessories. To most, she comes across as being just a bishōnen, rarely getting questioned by most on her claims of being a man.

Eagle Eyed: Hiro has a keen eye for details, able to pick up on small things that might go amiss with some people. Social cues, minor inconsistencies or contractions, all comes easy to her sharp mind and great memory. She is incredibly adaptive by nature as a result, both in and out of the ring.

Just for Show: She wears a pair of glasses outside of the ring that have no perscription value. It was mostly a habit she picked up early on to further help hide who she was that has just become part of her daily fashion.

Lost But Not Forgotten: Hiro wears her mother's wedding band on a chain around her neck.
