Challenge Accepted

The shark was about to pay for turning her attention away from Akane. The fight so far had been rough, but it had also been fun. As she turned around, though, Mako would realize the fun was over as Akane smashed a wooden chair over her head. It was much more surprising than just a little water, and infinitely more painful. The only relief she found was that her arms were up to help guard her head. Still, the shark went down hard as the chair splintered and shattered after it was bashed across her skull.

Mako couldn’t make any jokes or taunts now, she just fell flat on her back as her head started bleeding. Now her hair was blonde, black, and red. This left the shark nearly KOed, while her groans were the only thing that showed she wasn’t dead. Mako could barely bring her hands to her fore head as she tried to stop the world from spinning.

Clearly the screams around her were coming from the crowd, but the shark barely noticed them. The only thing she was focused on was the woman above her. Mako couldn’t believe she was worried about Akane a few moments ago. Now she wanted this woman’s head…but that wasn’t going to happen. She had her shot, and Akane had her’s. The difference being that the red head actually took it.

"Fuck Mako! What's wrong with you!? Get up! Get up and fuck her the fuck up!!!" she would scream to herself in her head. But Mako could only push herself up a bit with her elbows while glaring at the woman. Her eyes filled with anger as the blood ran down her forehead. It was all for nothing, though. No matter how much she told herself otherwise, Mako didn’t have the strength to fight back right now. Her anger and adrenaline were the only things keeping her going as she pushed herself up to basically get slaughtered.

The chair exploded on Mako’s head, leaving the shark to fall down hard onto the cold, hard floor. Akane simply watched her fall, still holding onto what was once the legs of the chair. Despite the force she had put into her swing, Mako was still conscious, the shark glaring at Akane weakly as she tried, and failed, to stand back up. He blonde hair was slowly turning red from blood, and it seemed like it blood was even beginning to stream down Mako’s face.

It wasn’t enough. Akane was not satisfied with just making her opponent bleed, not after what she was put through. She wanted Mako unconscious, and seeing how close she was to her goal, she wasn’t going to stop halfway.

Tossing the broken legs aside, Akane reached down and grabbed a handful of Mako’s bloodied hair, forcing her to stand. Her eyes were the same as when she brought down the chair, causing some of the patrons to plead for her to stop, Mako clearly has had enough, but she genuinely didn’t hear them. Right then, Mako was the only other person on the planet.

She didn’t care about the shark’s head wounds. In a moment, the shark wouldn’t be feeling anything anyways. At least not if Akane could help it.

After pulling her opponent off the ground, she would slam a knee into her opponent’s abs, forcing them to bend over. If it worked, she would then adjust Mako so that she could lift her up into a Muscle Buster, though she would struggle to maintain her balance for a bit before dropping down hard to complete the move.

She didn’t want to give Mako a chance to squirm out of anything. All she wanted was for the shark to be put away, taught never to underestimate her larger foe again, and maybe humiliate her the same way she humiliated Akane throughout the fight.

Mako had no way of stopping Akane as she pulled her up on her feet. The shark was still reeling from the fucking chair that was smashed over her head that she could barely see straight. That and the blood going down her face made it impossible for her to look Akane in the eyes. Hell, she wasn't even sure the red headed woman was in front of her! All she knew was that her challenger helped her up, and after a few moments plowed into Mako's abs with her knee.

"HUUAACKK!" the shark would gasp, grunt, and cry out all at the same time as the air was knocked out of her. Mako would've fell flat on her face had Akane not grabbed her as she bent forward. This was not a good thing, though, as the woman grabbed the back of her knees while the back of her neck pressed against the shark's shoulder. Then, with a burst of strength, Mako was lifted into the air with her legs spread wide. The back of her neck positioned to lay on Akane's shoulder as she struggled a bit to maintain her balance. It could've been that she was a bit dizzy from the bottle smashed over her head, but that wasn't enough to save Mako now.

"You...bitch..." were the only words she could muster as the fiery brute held her like this in the air while wiggling her body as best she could. Her squirming didn't help at all, though, as Akane finally got her balance and fell backwards. The impact hit her like a bus as she landed on the floor, unmoving. As much as Mako would've loved to get back up, that wasn't happening. Akane had seemingly knocked the shark out with her Muscle Buster, leaving her limp on the floor as the concerned crowd watched on.

Down Akane went, devastating the shark that was draped across her shoulder. Even as groggy as the red head was, the attack would have disastrous effects on her opponent, as seen when Mako finally stopped struggling. The shark was limb, falling to the floor with a loud THUD!

It took Akane a minute to collect herself. Her breathing was heavy, and labored, and her body felt heavy after the muscle buster. After what seemed like ages, she pulled herself up from the ground, wiping away a fresh stream of blood that had begun to pour down her face. A cold but curious glance was cast towards Mako, her unconscious form laying on the floor, bleeding, but still breathing.

Finally satisfied, Akane began the tough journey of standing up, then walking to get her jacket. She didn’t even care about the crown or the title of “King” anymore. The whole thing seemed like a joke at this point, and she just wanted the night to be over with, ready to pass out on her couch.

Just before leaving, she noticed the stripper she saw when first walking into the bar, the one that was working on Mako before the fight. Reaching into her pants pocket, Akane pulled out a pair of bills, tossing it at the stripper,

“Better call her an ambulance…or buy her a beer. Whichever you think best…”

With that, the red head stumbled out the door, wiping away sweat and blood as she disappeared into the night, leaving a worried at stupefied crowd at the bar.

Some days later, a letter could be found in Mako’s mailbox. It had no address written on the envelope, and the only thing keeping it closed was a small sticker of a cartoon shark. A handwritten letter was the contents inside

‘Dearest Mako,

I hope this letter finds you well, better than that of the night on which we parted. Though it has been many days and a few more night, I find myself thinking, dreaming of that conflict we shared in that tavern, that cold den of lust of which we could not partake in. Your crimson blood, speckled upon the snowy white of my cloth, mixing with my own in a scarlet paint of competitive fury! The crowds cheering as we fought one another.
But your expression, that is what I see most. Your lovely, confident features slacked down in defeat, your burning eyes dulled from unconsciousness, your powerful body lying limb on the floor, that is what I see at night!

That night, we did not fight. We only hit each other, punched, kicked, and smashed each other. Such a display was something anything, even animals could do. We could do so much more than we did, yet we wasted such an opportunity.

Mako didn't need an ambulance. Well, maybe she did, but there was no way she'd get in it. After waking up she was pissed. Very very pissed. Not at Akane, but at herself. She lost. Mako didn't take losses lightly. In fact, part of the reason she refused an ambulance was to punish herself for losing. The most she accepted was some help getting home from the stripper. The shark and her had a fun time back at her place, which helped her mood quite a bit. But sex wasn't enough to keep her happy. Mako was pretty down for the next few days and she didn't leave her house much.

Luckily she didn't have any matches during this time, which was good because her head wouldn't be in the game. One morning, though, one of the bodyguards in front of her house brought her a letter that had been dropped off. At first Mako was really thrown off by the writing. She actually wondered if Akane had asked someone else to write it since it was...well...so formal and intricate. Honestly, if she did write this herself, the woman was talented. She painted one hell of a picture with her descriptions.

Like this one here, "Though it has been many days and a few more night, I find myself thinking, dreaming of that conflict we shared in that tavern, that cold den of lust of which we could not partake in. After reading that, the shark would be lying if she said that wasn't kinda turned on. Hell she was completely turned on. Even if she was describing her defeat, it was still hot. Kinda like an erotic novel in a way. But Mako didn't care about her writing abilities that much. All she really cared about was the point of this letter...that Akane wanted another fight.

Mako wanted this second chance bad. Just like Akane, she desperately needed it. So the shark would quickly get herself ready for another brutal fight. The letter had said to take her time, but there was no chance that was happening. Mako wanted this fight now!

So she'd quickly go to her room and get dressed in short jean shorts and a low cut, white tank top. In fact, it was just as low as the one Akane had been wearing during their bar fight. She ordered a few of them the day after the brawl...mostly because she liked how good it looked on the red headed woman's body. So after putting on her clothes, the shark would head out and follow the map to Akane's place. Of course she got lost a few times, but Mako was too stubborn to stop and get help with the directions. She'd just keep driving until she got it right because the shark couldn't bring herself to stop even for a second. Mako just couldn't get there fast enough...
