Rosa 'Crusher' Crabrera vs. Blaze - Fired Up

Keep moving, keep moving, keep moving.

That was the mantra that Blaze kept repeating in her head, had been since this fight started and she got a sense for how big and powerful Rosa really was. She felt a bit like a gazelle trying to outrun a lion - she could keep away, stay out of its range, but if she stumbled or took a wrong turn…

Best not to think about it. Instead, she focused on staying alive, as Rosa came at her again, lashing out with those long arms of hers. The range helped make up for her lack of speed, and she tagged Blaze with a jab that felt like a straight, hitting her in the face and making her stumble back.

A good move, and one that must have left her feeling confident, because she was quick to follow it up with a knee that would’ve sent Blaze careering out of the ring.

”Whoa-” A quick pivot on her heel was all that saved her, swinging to the side and letting the move pass her by. Not wanting to waste the moment, she leaped up, kicked her legs out, scissored Rosa’s ankle and twisted to the side, attempting to send her falling to the ropes with a drop toehold.

Rosa managed to plant a solid strike, grinning as she did so. However, what happened ed next quickly wiped the grin off her face!

Rosa fell forward right on the ropes, her throat crashing down on the middle rope! Rosa wheezed and coughed, her hands grabbing the middle rope as she struggled to open up her hurt airway!

The crowd started to rise up and cheer when Rosa went down, falling into the classic position. Blaze knew what they thought was coming next. Anyone with even a passing knowledge of wrestling would know what they expected.

But Blaze was a woman who liked to defy expectations. So.

With Rosa’s head sticking through the ropes, Blaze grabbed the top rope, yanked her way upward to vault over it, kicked her legs out as she twisted in the air, and came down on the back of her foe’s head with a leg drop, falling down on her from above like a guillotine’s blade.

Rosa let out a pained, muffled cry as she bounced back into the ring! She grabbed her throat and kicked the mat as she was laid out on her back wheezing as Blaze kept taking the fight to the big woman! Rosa was clearly hurting, embarrassed and above all angry! She wanted to rip this woman in half... but she wasn't sure how to go about it when Blaze was so hard to get hold of!

‘Guillotine’. Yeah, that was a good name for the move. Blaze couldn’t remember anyone else ever doing it, so she might as well take credit for coining the name.

She was pleased enough with the results, too. Rosa was a big bruiser, one of the biggest, strongest women that Blaze had ever come across, but she still had her vulnerabilities, and it seemed like she’d managed to nail one of them square on the head. She went over to her back, kicking and choking and coughing and - most important of all - leaving herself wide open. An opportunity that she wasn’t missing out on.

With Rosa on her back, Blaze slipped through the ropes and dropped hard on her chest, going for a pinfall early on. It wasn’t likely to work, she knew that, but it wouldn’t hurt to keep the pressure off, force her opponent to waste her energy.

This bitch. This pesky little bitch!

"ONE!"

Rosa was beyond mad. Did she think Rosa would just fold like that? Rosa planted her arms underneath Blaze and before the referee could count to two Rosa thrust up. She wanted to press and toss Blaze clear to kick out as emphatically as possible before getting back up to her feet.

Did Blaze thing she could pin Rosa with that?

No.

Did she think it would piss Rosa right off and piss her off to astronomical levels?

Yes.

Judging by the fierce way her opponent kicked out of the hold and the look boiling rage on her face, it was safe to say that Blaze’s assumptions were valid.

She rolled off and away from her and swiftly bounced back up to her feet once she was clear, getting back to her feet and sliding into her fighting stance once more. She’d done some good damage from the start, swung momentum in her favor, but that didn’t mean she could just go charging in and not get caught. Assuming that Rosa wasn’t a total idiot, the offensive idea would get diminishing returns.

Rosa got up and saw Blaze was already set to go. She wanted to crush this little pain in the ass so bad she could taste it. Rosa moved cautiously towards Blaze trying to get within striking distance. More than anything she wanted to get hold of the woman and grapple her. Keep her close and crush her from there. It was a simple plan, but one that Rosa knew would be more difficult to pull off than it sounded.

Still, she was going to give it a try. Rosa stepped up and tried to grab hold of Blaze to lock up in the grapple! If she could get close a few knee strikes would be inbound for the sternum of Blaze!

Okay, here she comes, get ready, and-

Something went wrong. Blaze’s intention had been to only grapple Rosa for a moment and drill her with a kick before she could really lock in, but she underestimated this woman’s overbearing strength and how ferocious she could be. She tried to throw a knee of her own, only to find it intercepted by the bigger woman’s, with more following that, knocking her back, sending her gasping towards the ropes while she languished in Rosa’s grasp.

It was hardly a good position, but she was able to stay on her two feet for now. She tried hard to push Rosa away and make some space between them, a rabbit trying to escape the wolf’s jaws.

Rosa tried to hammer into Blaze but the woman had good ring sense, shoving Rosa away before she could really do much damage! "Ngh.. you won't get away that easily you little bitch..." Rosa growled as she lowered her shoulder, rushing right at Blaze!

Rosa wanted to crash into the woman, tackling her to the mat with a spear! Should she succeed, the big woman wasn't going to stop there. She wanted to show where her nickname came from, literally trying to crush Blaze's skull with a flurry of punches afterward! It wasn't pretty, but Rosa didn't care about pretty. She cared about being physically imposing, brutal, and effective.
