Elizabeth 'Riza' Hawkeye vs. Armando 'Army' Rodriguez - First Shot

It was just a knee to the face. He’d taken knees to the face. Felina in particular liked kneeing him in the face, though he swore hers weren’t quite as bad. He could take this. He could recover. He’d be fine.

Just a soon as the world stopping spinning. Whoa. Jesus.

She was on him again, pressing him against the ropes, and uh...had she always been this buff? It had been a while since they fought, and yeah, she had more muscle than before, but she seemed firmer, too. He felt fairly confident in claiming that her improvements in the chest area weren’t the result of extensive cosmetic improvements, either. And was she feeling his chest up? And…

He had little time to contemplate that before he was off to the races, hurled off at full speed. Army hit the ropes, bounced off and came bounding towards Hawkeye with all the steam he could muster. Deciding it was best to go for broke right away, Army spun about on his heel, swung his arm out, and tried to nail her with his discus lariat finisher - Hurricane Armando.

Hawkeye had, unfortunately, taken a couple steps forward, eager to catch the rebounding man and slam him down...but with less room between them, it gave her less time to react...and having never seen his new finisher, it was only when he spun that she realized something was wrong.

"Oh Shi-!"

She didn't even have time to finish her swear, before Army's large arm, aided by the momentum of both his spin and the bounce off of the ropes, smashed into her chest. Hitting dead on, the devastating finisher didn't just knock her flat, it hit hard enough to lift the military woman off her feet, causing her body to twist and flip forward, metaphorically turning her inside out as she landed hard onto her back, bouncing on the mat before laying flat, letting out small gasps and wheezes as the wind was knocked out of her, the crowd erupting, as it looked like Army had this won with just one blow!

The crowd was shock. The referee was shocked. Hawkeye was definitely shocked. But no one was more shocked than Army that his little gambit had worked. It had just been something he did on a lark, a wild idea that came literally out of nowhere. He hadn’t expected it to work, not really. Not when Hawkeye was starting to seem on her game.

Oh, well.

She went down like a bag of bricks, crashing into the canvas with bone-shattering force, and Army only had to take a quick moment to right himself before he could move in for the kill. He went about and pounced on her, dropping to his knees and laying her chest against hers. A good feeling. Too bad he’d only enjoy it for three seconds. ”See you in another three years.”

The referee dropped down soon after and started up the count. ”1…!”

Hawkeye let out a small whimper in response, as he hooked her leg. That move had to have been the new move he was talking about, because it was absolutely devastating. Her breath was caught in her throat, wind knocked out of her...not helped by having Armys body pressing down on her, his broad chest squashing down her bust.

As the referee counted "2!", several thoughts passed through her head. Was this it? Was she done already? Three years of fighting, training, working so hard...only to get put down with a single blow? Was she THAT weak?

The crowd watched, with baited breath, as the referee's hand raised for a third time...starting to come down...

"NO!"

She cried, the blonde woman bucking upwards, throwing her arm up, just enough to get her shoulder up and breaking the pin, much to the crowds excitement.

She gasped, taking in lungfuls of air, looking up at Army, still laying on top of her. "You're not beating me this time..."

Honestly, no one was more relieved for this to be over than Army. Prolonging this fight was going to do nobody any good, he was sure of that much, and he was looking forward to just ending this match and putting the whole ordeal behind. Hawkeye seemed nice enough - he liked her spunk, liked that fire, just loved the whole way she was willing to give as good as she got and keep on coming.

But wrestling just wasn’t her thing, it looked like. No shame in-

She broke the pin.

Army sat up on his knees, looking down at her, staring at this stubborn, crazy, beautiful, defiant, annoying woman. It was a hard thing to process, really. Granted, he’d hit her with his finisher pretty damn early, so he guessed he shouldn’t have expected that much, but even so, she took it a lot better than she would’ve the last time they’d been in the ring.

So, she’d improved. Which meant he was going to drag this out to beat her. Awesome.

”Whatever you say, GI Jane.” He huffed, took a good grip on her arm, and stood up, pulling her up along with him. As soon as she was standing, he twisted around, gave her a hard yank, and sent her off sprinting towards the nearest turnbuckle.

That...was way to close for comfort. Three years ago, a move like that would have put her down for the count for certain. Even now, completely fresh, it did a number on her. Stupid smug Army, with his power and effective moves...it made her want to kick his ass more...but also reminded her to have a healthy respect for his skill and power.

That same power sent her running across the ring, letting out a pained yelp as she smacked into the turnbuckle, turning her body to hit it with her back, hoping to nullify some of the damage that way, though, still dazed from the Lariat, she leaned back against the corner, needing to catch her breath.

There was no way that Army was going to let Hawkeye catch her breath.

If circumstances had been a little different, he might’ve held back. While he’d learn not to underestimate women in his time at Tension, there was still a real part of him that didn’t want to go overboard. It might’ve even had something to do with Hawkeye and the look in her eye after their match, the way she’d been so utterly broken, the despair in her face.

But no. She asked for this, and she was going to get it. All of it.

He launched her with the Irish Whip, and he’d only let her go for a second before he came barreling after her, moving at full steam. He was all over her the second she turned around against the turnbuckle, dropping down and ramming his shoulder into her stomach. For her sake, he hoped she’d been doing some regular crunches.

Ah Shit.

Hawkeye only had a brief second, just enough to notice a shadow cover her body and see a giant blur cover her vision, before he smashed his shoulder into her stomach as hard as he could.

"OOOOFFF!"

She had done crunches, but nobody could ever do enough crunches to prepare for such a blow, the bigger male smashing deep into her stomach, causing the now wide-eyed blonde to fall forward, leaning completely on his shoulder, gasping and wheezing loudly, the wind and air knocked completely out of her!

God, Army was so thankful that Hawkeye didn’t move out of the way. He’d seen so many wrestlers use this move, and it only ever seemed to work 25% of the time. The other 75% had them flying into the post at full steam, smashing their shoulders up, then getting fucked up by whoever they missed.

Not Hawkeye. She took and got the full damage, bending her in half over Army’s shoulder. He wrapped his arm around her waist and lifted up, carrying her with ease, putting her on display like she was a prized trophy, a fresh kill from the woods.

”And down you…” He quickly whipped her about and flung her into the floor, driving her to the mat with a spine-busting Spinebuster, making sure to get plenty of his weight into the move. ”...go!”

Normally Army would have heard the satisfying cry of a well smashed opponent as he threw Hawkeye to the ground...but the woman was so winded and out of breath from having his body crush hers, deflating her like she was some well toned and beautiful bagpipe, that she could barely do more than let out a small whimper as she hit the mat hard on her back.

"..G-gh...fu...fuck..."

It had been a long time since she had fought an opponent of Armys size and strength, not since...well, Army himself, and it was clear that he had only gotten stronger since then. Still, he wasn't invincible, she could beat him...she WOULD beat him...

At least...once she could breath, and the jarring pain in her back went away, as for now, all she could do was pant on the mat, the crowd looking on, some with sympathy, others cheering for Army to send her back home like he did before!
