Beckett Tremblay vs Kei Kawakami [Standard Match]

Beckett sat comfortable on her throne atop the small of Kei’s back, a solid fixture that seemed almost immovable in the moment. She had the brunette locked into her holds, one than the other for so long with no real sign of the young rookie able to escape. While she had put up a valiant attempt at struggling, it ultimately had ended with the redhead easing her prey back into her signature hold. From there, she flexed her arms around Kei’s throat to cut off the flow of blood and oxygen to begin to drag this match to a close.

She felt the girl beneath her give a bit, body going slightly limp as she strengthened her grip to lock in the move completely. With a soft chuckle she rubbed her palm up and down one of Kei’s captured arms, taking in the feel of the girl before nodding to the referee to come check.

“Can you continue?” The official had knelt down speaking loudly to Kei. The woman raised her hand, saying it to see if there was any recognition. Nothing. The referee gently scooped up Kei’s free hand, lifting it up then letting it fall. One… twice…

Before the third could land the rookie spurred to life again, startling the referee enough to fall backwards with a squeal. Beckett arched a brow, feeling the change in Kei’s body but not seeing it. Had she seen Kei attempt to swing her legs back at her, she likely would have commended the girl. Having spent almost her entire life as a trained contortionist, the woman's reach and range with her legs was impressive. Hunched forward in her dragon clutch however, the laws of physics worked against Kei, her legs in no way long or likely disjointed enough to make their intended trip. In the center of the ring the young rookie had squandered her energy and likely her change at escape. There didn't appear to be options left.
