A Half-Forgotten Apology

It had been a fair few months since Morgan had wrestled a match, and for good reason. She had run up against a wall, having taken on the best in Friction and lost decisively. Part of her had resolved to train harder than she ever had before to become strong enough to win, and so she had spent her time off honing her body and skills. With her best friend languishing in midcard hell and her mortal enemy waiting in the wings, there was no way that she could afford to be careless. When she made her return, she'd have to put in every single effort to make sure things went smoothly.

Still, there was one thing she had to do to clear her mind before she could step in the ring again. And so, that was why she was standing in front of an apartment door, basket of fresh baked cookies in hand. There was an anxious sort of energy to her movements as she knocked twice, swallowing before she tugged on the collar of her sweater and stepped back.

Realistically, it was probably water under the bridge by now. Still, the feeling that things were still unresolved between her and Cecilia still lingered. If there was even the slightest bit of bad blood, she wanted to try and settle things so that it wouldn't lead to distractions or any run-ins later. Being beaten to a pulp during her return match would be pretty awful, after all.

Cecilia hadn't really expected anyone today, so that was why she was rather confused when she heard a knock on the door. Raising her eyebrow a bit as she would move up from her couch and start to walk over towards the door.

She wore a pair of denim jeans, and a black t-shirt that barley contained her large rack. She would tilt her head a little as she opened the door and saw the visage of Morgan, looking her up and down for a few seconds before she would see those cookies.

" Uhm...." Cecilia let out rather confused as she would place one hand on her hip, leaning against the door frame as she glare at Morgan, partially out of disdain and partially out of confusion as to why she was here. " What do you want?"
