Kyoko Akan vs. Masuyo Ai - Iron Sharpens Iron

It probably wasn’t going to be the best use of her energy, but Masuyo felt inclined to do whatever she could to get out of Kyoko’s hold. The headlock couldn’t have spelled anything good for her and she wasn’t too keen on letting her opponent rebuild her momentum. If she was going to squash this, she had to squash it now. The hold was secured tight, but she was confident a few strikes to the side would loosen the purple-haired woman’s resolve.

It wasn’t to be, though. Kyoko was the one in charge right now and they were going wherever she wanted to. In this case, the floor. The Queen took off running straight ahead for what Masuyo assumed was towards the turnbuckle for some more punishment. Instead, she found her face meeting the floor in the blink of an eye. She immediately rolled onto her back and brought her hands to her face, trying to numb the pain searing its way through her.

Kyoko was quickly taking control of this match, her leg was sore, her ankle felt worse. Her sides were burning, but she was in control right now. And for now she would have to take that. The bulldog had brought them back down t the floor, but really that was mostly to stall for the necessary time she needed to set something up. Before Masuyo found her bearings Kyoko was going to try and knock her for a loop with one big go at it. Shifting over to the turnbuckle she would grab them and pull herself up looking over at her opponent as she tended to her face.

This was going to be a pretty big risk, going for one of her finishers this early in the match, well subjectively early but still. She needed a means to put Masuyo down and maybe get a fall and while a risk, these kinds of risks were what defined her, and lowering herself she would wait for Masyuo to try and come back up to her feet, at which point she would pray her leg didnt give out on her and charge in to slam her shoulder into the Beasts body and take her down with the Spear. IF it connected Kyoko would try and go for the pin and get the first fall as soon as possible.

Alright, things were coming back to her. Masuyo wasn’t exactly sure what she had just been hit with, but she sure as hell didn’t want it to happen again. Her head felt like it had been beaten like a drum, thumping harshly as she made an attempt to stand again. It was bad, but not the worst thing she’d ever been through. She was already back on two feet before anything too bad happened, facing where she assumed her opponent had wandered off to, partly wondering why she hadn’t followed up on her advantage.

Masuyo hardly noticed the train that hit her. She coughed roughly as a human-sized javelin embedded itself in her solar plexus. The next thing she knew, she was bringing brought to the ground in the roughest way possible, her leg already hooked for the first count.

ONE!

She wanted to kick out. Damned if she tried to, but her body was ramrod stiff. A shot straight to her core forced her body into a quick reset as she laid flat on her back. Part of her mind was wrought with confusion, perplexed at how Kyoko could manage so much strength to bring the Demon down in the blink of an eye. The rest of her knew better than to dwell on that, however, and focused on trying to get out of this position before it was too late. She shut her eyes tight, clenching her teeth and trying to summon up some energy. Hopefully it would come to her, or else this fight would get a lot harder in about two seconds.

Kyoko barreled into her rival with all she had and slammed into her. Bringing them both down with the spear, Kyoko was quick to go for the pin, this was a now or never move and she hit it. Now she needed to hope it put her down. Of course even if she stayed up shed be in a world of hurt for awhile. The pin came quickly and Kyoko hoped Masuyo lacked any strength necessary to kick out at least for the time she needed.

"TWO!"

So close..Kyoko almost felt anxious....she was fighting a newer opponent, as a former world contender and she felt anxious, partially fearful that one of her best shots wouldnt work...that had to be a new feeling for her. Shed been the underdog for the most part and now she was technically the women to beat her, and the challenger was very much showing she meant business. Fear, apprehension...excitement...competition. Hell she fucking lived for this.

Down came the second count, and Masuyo had just barely managed to stir. Just what the hell did Kyoko hit her with? It felt like she’d just been tackled by a bull, with an ever-growing pit in her gut crying out in agony after the impact. Even the slightest twitch she made trying to rise again stabbed her with pain all over again. She’d needed just a few more seconds to herself. Just a few more to get her head straight.

But she didn’t have that a few seconds. She had one.

THREE! Point, Akan!

Damn it.

Masuyo’s head fell back against the canvas, her eyes fluttering open as she stared up at the stage lights. As the crowd roused to life, a hard scowl made its way onto the Demon’s face. She was down, one-to-nothing, and it all seemed to happen in the blink of an eye. She was as angry at herself as she was perplexed. How did things turn around so quickly? Just who was this woman she was fighting right now?

All Masuyo knew for sure was that she wasn’t going to let it happen again.

The third count came and went. The first fall given to her as Kyoko pulled off of Masuyo, the Queen was ahead of the demon at least for now. Taking a breath she looked at Masuyo with an impressed smile. She had given her a good fight and the war was far from over. Still plenty of time to see what else she had in store for her. Looking to move up and grab at her she had something else in mind and thinking she had a chance to test it out.

"Alright get up." She said looking to get Masuyo back to her feet. Well back up enough that Kyoko could slowly walk her over to the corner and put her over it. Making sure her arms were around the rope so that she didnt drop. "Your pretty strong..mind if i find out how strong?" Kyoko said as she drove a punch into Masuyo's belly, looking to slowly start to work it in the corner driving a few punches in choice spots. She really wanted to see how strong her foes core was.

Masuyo just had to keep reminding herself that it was still relatively early in the match. As much as it hurt, the pain would subside, then she could take the fight back to Kyoko. It was just the first fall and her opponent had to be exhausting herself just as quickly as she was. She could come back from this. Down, but not out. The only question was whether or not the Belly Queen was going to allow that.

She felt a pair of hands yank her up by both her arms. Still a bit wobbly from the impact, she leaned against Kyoko as she was forced back towards the corner. Her opponent’s finisher knocked some of the resistance out of her. She was barely aware of her arms being draped over the top rope until Kyoko started talking to her again, and she fully realized the situation she was in. A series of punches buried themselves in her stomach, drawing one rough cough after another from her lips. Her body spasmed involuntarily, jerking left and right as the shots tore through her.

However, she still stood tall by the end of it. Her abdominals pronounced themselves from the treatment. Her etched stomach turned red, breathing in and out heavily as she raised her head to look at Kyoko.

“Stronger than you...apparently.” She said with a wry grin on her face.

The first fall in the match gave her some leeway for sure, Kyoko wasnt going to be slowing down all that much but with it it meant she didnt need to chase her opponent. Course it would be awhile before a chase was necessary, the match had plenty of room to go either way if she got careless, or better yet...more along the same path. Getting Masuyo into the corner Kyoko did what she became famous for and began working the Demon's belly. Her punches pounding into those abs and adding a bit of color to the girls body as she chipped away at Masuyo's body. Her belly didnt seem to be faltering anytime soon even as it was clear each hit was hurting a bit as she tried to endure and brush off the worst of what Kyoko connected with.

"That would have a bit more sting if I wasnt fresh off pinning and didnt have you in a corner. Though I appreciate the confidence in the face of trouble." Kyoko said as she quickly brought her knee up and drove it into the girls abs as well before backing up and chopping her across the chest. "Just means I haven't fully broken you just yet." Kyoko said attempting to try and take her down a few more pegs.

A thin layer of sweat began to coat Masuyo’s body as she leaned up against the corner. This was a bad spot to be in. She knew that well enough, but she just had to wait for her chance. Her body was just getting rid of the aftereffects of that spear. Her breathing was getting back to normal and the pit below her chest had started to disappear. None of that would mean anything, however, if she just let Kyoko keep wearing her down like this. This match was far from over

The Belly Queen had no intention of just letting her slip away, clearly. Another knee to the gut doubled her over, confirming in her mind once and for all what Kyoko’s favorite part of the body was. She looked up just in time to feel a sharp chop to her chest, jerking her body upright as she clung tightly to the ropes to try and keep herself standing. She bared her teeth, looking back up at Kyoko with the same grin as before.

“And you never will.”

Leaping up and tucking in her legs, Masuyo would bring herself off the ground while using her grip on the top ropes to keep herself level. Shooting her legs back out a second later, she’d aim both her feet at Kyoko’s pretty face, digging her heels in with a kangaroo kick.

As she stared to wear down the girls abs, Kyoko wanted to make sure that Masuyo was completely unable to defend herself as she cut her down like a tree. Though Masuyo was doing everything in her power to try and survive the onslaught, not wanting to drop and put herself in a worse situation then she was now, something the Belly Queen was very much attempting to put her in as she didnt let up in her attack. Though she relented a bit too quickly on the attack on her abs as even after that she could strike the second she backed up brining her feet u and driving her boots to her face

"Auuufffh!" Kyoko's head shot back as she felt her jaw rumble from the kangaroo kick. using the ropes to help her out Kyoko fell backwards and she fell to the ground and landed back on her rear holding her face...she felt like shed been here not too long ago. Shaking her head Kyoko tried to slowly get back up to her feet despite the pain in her head telling her that was a bad idea.
