“...”
“Preeeeeeeeeeeety lame, bro!”
“Man, I feel embarrassed for her.”
“I know, right? What a frickin’ sellout.”
And like that, the ever-rapacious monster of corporate sponsorship claimed another victim. Already the dissatisfied masses voiced their outrage, the song of angry people resounding to and fro, across the vast distance of a whole ten feet. Hands buried in faces, subtle coughs into closed fists, twisted expressions in embarrassment. Oh, the horror they endured watching the aerialists fall from grace, a tearful lament that would echo from now to time eternal, unanswerable questions forever plaguing their minds. What happened to the Wrestle Angels? To the people they were supposed to become?
Chizuru, for her part, didn’t have a whole lot to contribute on her haphazard attempt at branding. She was too busy being mostly unconscious on the floor.
There were calls all around that tried to rouse her and get her back into things, but even the most devoted fans could realize that the German Suplex Girl was down for the count. At least, figuratively. There was barely so much as a twitch from her body. Aside from some faint, involuntary gurgling, she seemed to be thoroughly out of the mix. Her only saving grace was the fact that she wasn’t laid out on legal ground for Blade to swoop in like a hungry vulture and take the match out from under her.
Though the Okinawan was quickly fixing the change that. Chizuru moaned slightly as Blade hauled her up and rolled her beneath the bottom rope. The movement stirred her brain, made her a bit more aware of the building energy in the crowd. She stirred slightly, her brows furrowing for a moment before she slowly started to open her eyes to the bright lights above, trying to figure out what was happening in the brief moment she had.
All of a sudden, a shooting meteorite came falling down on her, appearing out of nowhere and striking down just as suddenly. Its wayward path brought it slamming right down onto Chizuru’s stomach, making her body jackknife and spur against the sensation. A spray of spittle shot from her mouth as she rolled left and right on the spot, clutching her stomach tightly and baring her grit teeth.

Re: Chizuru Nagahara vs. Blade Uehara - One More Reunion
*Dahhh what do the hell do they know about marketing, anyway? See if they can think of anything better, buncha pasty-faced sassa rassa frassa...*
Blade's incomprehensibly grumbling thoughts coming off the back of hearing the chilly reception to her bombed out catchphrase, which crashed and burned in a spectacularly glorious failure. The fickle fanbase giving her major heat over what was still an earnest attempt at coining a new sound bite, only for it to sound like she was going to whip out a switchblade and make this match decidedly less PG. Even if Blade did eventually come out as the winner of this match, she had already technically lost on that front. Even though a bit of her was honestly peeved that when Chizuru attempted a new catchphrase, she was openly accepted with wide arms...but when mean old Blade tries one out, they don't even give it a chance and burn her at the stake. A cuteness bias, she says...if she was all bubbly and adorably naive....
...anyway, luckily none of this distracted her from perfectly executing what would have been a balancing nightmare for most other high-flyers. Her spinning elbow drop nailing poor Chizuru right in her stomach with ring-shaking effects, Blade herself rolling to her side with a wince after landing flush on her spine. The audience cheering her on again, and all it took was a remarkable aerial maneuver and noticeable bodily harm on her part. Blade than shuffling upward with a teeth-gritting groan to a seated position while noticing the rolling movements and languishing of the Okinawan. She knew Chizuru's diaphragm was hemorrhaging like crazy to get some air back in her lungs, and there was not better time to put a bow on this baby. Blade put aside how rotten she felt for deceiving Chizu and went about scurrying over to her, than hooking up both of her legs to roll her into a ball. A leveraged pin attempt that had Blade extending her legs into it with an inadvertent cheek to cheek nuzzle to the suplexing savant...
"...c'mon, jus stay down and I'll...I'll...get yah a whole box of Twinkies...and even go with yah on that dumb autograph signing thingie you mentioned earlier..."

Re: Chizuru Nagahara vs. Blade Uehara - One More Reunion
If it weren’t for the mad thumping in her head like a pair of out of control bongos, Chizuru may have been a little worried about her position. Blade had recovered the momentum, planted her inside of the ring, and even made her own (unsuccessful) attempt at a trademark. The telltale signs of a wrestler’s inevitable victory. She knew she had to do something, find some sort of energy to resist the pain in her gut and get moving again.
But the best Chizuru could offer was a pained groan as Blade hooked her leg and got the pinfall going. Between the hemorrhaging in both her forehead and her abdomen, the German Suplex girl’s body remained as stiff as board. Kicking out in time for the first count was impossible, and being able to by the second looked just as unlikely. Her mind dug for the lessons Rei had taught her, combed through her bits of experience for some solution-
“TWO!”
-but fell short.
The Suplex Savant looked as finished as finished could be. It was incredibly tempting to simply lay there and let the Aerial Artist claim her hard-earned victory. It wouldn’t have taken much convincing, either...but Blade gave her plenty all the same. A whole box of Twinkies? That sounded soooooo good right about now. What made the deal all the sweeter, sweeter than a whole truckload of Twinkies from a Twinkie truck, was the second part of the offer. She didn’t actually believe that Blade would agree to such a sudden request! Hearing those words in her ear, fully digesting them in their entirety, sparked a burst of her life in her gut. Her eyes snapped open and her head shot up from off the ground.
“Really?!” Chizuru popped up and broke the pin at record speed, looking at the Okinawan with an elated smile. She said yes! She knew she would say yes! The Suplex Girl’s face shined brighter than the stage lights dangling above them as she sat facing the aerialist. Her mouth opened to say something..but just as quickly faded after she took a quick look around. “Oh..uh. Sorry, Blade. Eh heh heh..”
The referee looked curiously between the two of them, still on the ground with her hand raised. She said absolutely nothing.

Re: Chizuru Nagahara vs. Blade Uehara - One More Reunion
Hey, Blade isn't above a little polite..."persuasion", if it means ensuring herself a victory lap around the ring instead of a miserable escort up the ramp for an extended night in the infirmary. Her moral compass naturally becoming particularly skewed after years of getting cheated out of wins via outside interference or having some asshole spew multicolored goop in her face. So why not offer her opponent a tempting alternative to prolonging a night of suplexing and slamming down onto eachother? Blade still remembers footing the bill on a new Kings-size mattress for Noel Shirashi in a match that she was sleep-walking through anyway, sometimes literally.
...but than Chizuru snapped back up to break up the pin with brimming enthusiasm and child-like wonderment in her sparkling eyes. The Aerial Artist rebounding back to her knees from the sheer force of Chizu's perky energy boost, her outright surprise from seeing Chizuru spring back to life so suddenly turning into as deadpanned an expression her grimacing face and furrowed hairy eyebrows could muster. The twitching vein on the side of her noggin being both exaggerated for effect but still quite real given the mounting frustration she was coping with right now...but none of it was capitalized on. There was simply no manner of grudge-holding against someone that...damnable...adorable.
"....ya know...you're really making it hard for me to keep beating the stuffing out of you, you know that?" Blade bitterly muttered out with an exasperated sigh and slumping of her shoulders. She than took the time to prop a hand on her knee before making a wobbly ascent back to her feet with a wince, all while taking Chizuru's hand to aid the suplexing savant back to verticality as well. "Besides....I kinda think I should be the one owing you an apology as well. For a bunch of things...including plastering you in the face with nacho cheese...talking smack to you back there...hehe..." Blade jokingly recalled a few of the many low and highlights in a match that kinda went off the rails at a few points, warmly holding Chizuru's hand with a nostalgic inflection to her voice. "...and tapping you out between my thighs." Blade said with a friendly smile...a second or two of dead-air passing before she nimbly jumped up and sat herself on Chizuru's shoulders before leaning back downward while holding onto Chizuru's arm in a Triangle Choke!!!

Re: Chizuru Nagahara vs. Blade Uehara - One More Reunion
Chizuru’s body liked to move on its own sometimes. How much of that was bred from the years of fast-paced, heart-pounding professional wrestling with the best of the industry, and how much was just that competitive spirit she’d kept inside since childhood, nobody knew for sure. Either way, it was a mixed bag. An issue in some cases, like ramming fast first into a corner post, a blessing in disguise at other times. Her superior power was pretty reliable when it was without thought and, thus, without restraint. Case in point, Blade’s pinfall was just short of ending the match before an excitable Chizu popped up and out with seemingly zero effort. The only downside, of course, was that Blade’s promises weren’t on the table anymore. Phooie.
At least, she thought so? She noticed right away that the Okinawan seemed pretty peeved by the upset, a feeling she did her best to deter as her bright smile and cutesy demeanor didn’t waver so much as an inch the whole time she was scowled at. But then her look turned soft, friendly, and even offered her a hand up! The Suplex Idiot blinked up at her in surprise, but immediately took her hand the next second, the corners of her mouth brimming from ear to ear as she stood up fully.
She still held onto Blade’s hand, a bit more focused on her words than anything else. There was even a tinge of guilt in herself. She’d never made an opponent feel compelled to apologize before. But it was mostly covered up by the sudden embarrassment as she looked off towards the ground with a shy grin, eyelids shut and scratching the back of her head. “Aw. Don’t worry about it, Blade. Now that I think about it, they were pretty deli…” Her expression flattened. She looked at Blade and blinked. “...um...wha-?”
Chizuru choked on that last syllable as she was suddenly pulled forward, right between the Okinawan’s strong legs which quickly wrapped around her neck, constricting her with a sudden, yet lethal Triangle Choke! Chizuru’s expression turned puffy, her lips sputtering and her eyes bulging as she was hunched forward against Blade’s weight, her one free hand pulling with whatever effort she could muster in a desperate bid for some more oxygen. This wasn’t as playful as the octopus stretch. Much as Chizuru dreaded that one, submissions in general weren’t her strong suit, and Blade clearly wasn’t interested in playtime anymore. Chizuru was fading fast, her mind scrambling to do something quick as she held on and puffed her cheeks, staring straight ahead with a determination burning as hard as the crimson hue blotching her face.

Re: Chizuru Nagahara vs. Blade Uehara - One More Reunion
Blade wished she could find a way to somehow bottle all of this exuberant energy and chipper enthusiasm Chizuru had, and sell it outright to the highest bidder. She'd be a multi-millionaire around throwing fat stacks of cash around her mansion in less than a week. But nonsensical delusions could wait for when was sprawled out on her couch in blissful, snoring sleep after having knocked back an alcoholic beverage or five. Right now she was more fixated on finding out how to put Chizuru down for the three count already. Seeing as how jamming her elbow into Chizuru's abdomen didn't do the trick...nor did a possibly unlawful act of bribery that Blade was lucky the referee didn't overhear...it was about time she dove back into her considerably deep pool of submission maneuvers.
It was starting to become a non-stop, first class guilt trip the longer Blade prolonged matters with Chizuru. The Suplex Savante's most glaring weakness having absolutely nothing to do with her wrestling style, and everything to do with how adorably naive she was...like she still had that childlike wonderment in her eyes that normally gets bullied out of ya around middle school. Exploiting that innocent nuance about her is how Blade even made this comeback possible, from a nacho-cheese pieface into a strangling judo chokehold that poor Chizuru was already gurgling and struggling against. Consecutively hoodwinking the German suplexer like this wasn't something Blade was exceptionally proud of, but they were reaching the endgame here and Blade was still a professional. And one who knew that winning matches meant taking advantage of any openings your opponent gave you.
"Eeeeeasy girl....Settle down~....Shhhh~....That's right~....I'm proud of ya, Chizu....Ya did good~....Jus goooo to sleep now~..." Blade dreamily coaxed Chizuru into letting her fluttering eyelids shut tight for a nice little snoozefest. The Aerial Artist crossing her ankles behind Chizu's head to strengthen her torquing squeeze play, grinding her smooth and lean thighs against the puffed out cheeks of her chipper opponent. At one point, thanks to Chizuru gradually slumping forward, Blade would leverage them both to the side to make it seem more like Chizuru was laying on her bed with her head on a nice comfy pillow. From the warmed over sensation of Chizuru's heaving breath against her leg, Blade knew it was all a matter of time for now. Blade bucked her hips for one more bit of flexing torque before relaxing her body somewhat...still holding Chizuru's hand against her breasts...sporting a coy smirk while breathing heavily herself from an utterly draining match that seemed like it was wrapping up...

Re: Chizuru Nagahara vs. Blade Uehara - One More Reunion
Chizuru normally liked lullabies. They were the only way she could really find her way to sleep as a kid all the way up through high school. Once she started Wrestle Angels, though, all that energy finally had somewhere to go, and she came home half-passed out after long days of training and booking. There were seldom times that she had problems finding her way into a peaceful slumber, but whenever she did, she took heart knowing that her mom’s soothing voice was only a phone call away.
But it seemed like Blade had a much better remedy for her, something a lot of more fast-acting and maybe a little painful if you weren’t completely on board. The ample power constricting around her neck saw Chizuru’s face scrunch and her lips pucker worse than any sour lemon could have managed as she tried to suck in whatever strength she could.
She doubted she was the only one surprised by how badly this had gotten so fast. Blade’s entire reputation was staked on her abilities as a flyer, on the daredevil lifestyle she proudly wore on her shoulder in the ring. But that didn’t mean she was a pushover in other areas. The color on the Suplex Girl’s face was all the proof anyone would ever need of that, immortalized on an international live broadcast for anyone who dared forget it. Chizuru definitely wasn’t. Golly. She thought Minami had some bad submission holds.
Things only got worse when she finally reached her limit, unable to support their combined weight before Blade took the both of them to the ground. It wasn’t a position she was unfamiliar with. She could usually wrestle or pry her way free. The only problem was that Blade’s thighs were…
“...stronger...than...they...” Chizuru pulled at the Okinawan's legs with her free hand, but to no avail. She felt herself fading fast, blotches of dark starting to fill her vision as the world went hazy around her. Her strength was fading and she could barely muster the energy to stand again as she yanked and pulled helplessly against Blade’s grip. Her eyes darted left and right, desperately searching for a way out somewhere, anywhere, and before long, one of her bloodshot pupils found one at the opposite side of the ring. The corner had saved her before when she was on two feet, it could probably save her now. All she had to was adjust a bit…
Stomping her foot down, Chizuru shuffled to the side, rotating the both of them counterclockwise on the floor, lining them up with the opposite turnbuckles. Chizuru even used her trapped arm to grip at Blade’s top and left her back just enough to move the both of them better, absentmindedly giving the tomboy’s chest a sudden and desperate grope. Clearly, the loss of oxygen was making her delirious. She had to act fast, and did so by pumping her legs hard behind her, driving the both of them forward across the canvas. Blade’s head would suddenly find itself the iron plow, tearing asphalt from one side of the ring to the other on a collision course the steel pole waiting for it on the other end.

Blade’s head would suddenly find itself the iron plow, tearing asphalt from one side of the ring to the other on a collision course the steel pole waiting for it on the other end.

Re: Chizuru Nagahara vs. Blade Uehara - One More Reunion
*...and a nice, cold beer to wash it all down.*
Oh...sorry. Blade's mind had wandered into how she planned to unwind that night. Which you couldn't necessarily blame her for given her notoriously short attention span that ensured her many a head bonking from her teachers catching her snoozing, or fantasizing about scoring goals for her soccer team during the regional championships. She basically used however method she could to mentally transport herself out of whatever prolonged period of inert, motionlessness she was currently stuck in. Which wasn't too far from the current case, where she simply had to hang tight, take a powder, relax and stay perfectly still while her toned leg muscles did all the work. Any spastic movement on her part could very well awaken the slumbering Okinawan into a suplexing party that Blade would rather not be invited to. But by Chizuru's fluttering eyes and dwindling movements, it looked like she needn't fear any of that.
Blade winced from some sweat getting in her eye as she continued clamping onto Chizu's arm, still snuggly tucked betwixt her bosom while she muttered soothing words to tuck this beauty to sleep. Fans rallied behind the comatose German not just because she had won some new supporters that night, but because this was generally a helluva match that they would hate to see end in such a humdrum fashion. Blade could relate. She normally bookended her matches with a high-flying, death-defying, spinning back-flip splash onto someone to finish bouts on a high note...but matters were getting desperate, and considering how utterly exhausted and banged up Blade was at this point, the Aerial Artist will take a win any way she can get it. All of the aches, pains, and nacho cheesiness would have been worth it if she could just keep up this torquing pressure...and keep telling herself there was no way Chizu was going to power her through this submission just like she did the earlier Octopus Stret-...
"No...NoNo...NoNoNo..." Blade muttered her best Shia Labeouf impression when she first felt the undersell of maneuvering movement from Chizu, the Aerial Artist scrunching her eyes shut and gnashing her teeth while bucking her hips to help quell this newfound burst of energy. Blade never missed leg day and she was planning on proving it at this moment. She was NOT going to allow history to repeat itself by letting Chizu muscle her way out of another submission predicament. Blade was going to buckle down, assert herself, and not be distracted by...*squeeze*...Blade forgot what she was thinking about. A cooing, high pitched gasp escaped her pursed lips before her amber eyes shot wide open and she promptly covered her mouth, her stark shocked and blushing face directed down at the hand copping a full on feel of Blade's breast. Camera's catching the kneading massage and Blade's alluring reaction...at this point being knocked senseless was the best thing that could happen to Blade, who was than stampeded noggin first into the steel post. Her limbs shooting upward before limply collapsing and being splayed out spread-eagled to her side. Her eyes now a jumbled swirly mess with a delirious smile on her face...

Re: Chizuru Nagahara vs. Blade Uehara - One More Reunion
There was always that dull period when she was about to lose consciousness that she couldn’t get used to. That weird veil between being in and out of one’s body, where a wave of static washed over and sucked your mind clean out with a unique numbness that tasted like metal and cotton candy.
It wasn’t exactly foreign to her. Wrestle Angels had repeatedly put her against opponents way better with submissions and with way more power than the Aerial Artist. She remembered being pulled into Rei’s rivalry with Minami one off day. Rei was convinced that if she could slam the Venus of Submissions at least once, she’d never be able to recover. What actually happened was one of the shortest matches of her career, with her dead on the mat from a koji clutch.
Thankfully, she was spared from it this time around. Her plan landed flush, just a step away from the end, and her airways freed up from the Okinawan’s expert lock.
The second Blade hit her head and flattened out, Chizuru flattened right along with her. Her arms and legs went limp over the veteran, her body rising and falling with heavy breaths for a moment as she stole back whatever air she could. Her glassy eyes slowly recovered their color before she blinked once again with a gasp of life in her eyes. Her head rested against Blade’s toned tummy for a while longer, still trying to shake off the numbness in her arms and fingers. Submission holds were the worst. Her brain felt rattled and everything weighed a million pounds. No doubt, she couldn’t keep up like this for long. She had to end things big, and her mind boggled around left and right as to how to go about that.
Until her tired eyes roved up to see the turnbuckle, and the dusty lights went on upstairs.
Chizuru pushed herself up to her knees, closing her eyes and taking a deep breath, looking down at Blade with a smile overwhelmed with equal parts sincerity and fatigue.
“Nearly...had me there, Blade. They should call you...Pliers.” Chizuru chuckled, actually proud of herself about that. Yikes. She flipped Blade onto her stomach before wrapping her arms underneath the tomboy’s waist, pulling her upright against her as she attempted to rise to two feet. “But I’m not some-ngh!...some kid everyone can...put to bed anymore! You’ll need milk and cookies for that!” She turned and walked her back into the turnbuckle, slowly starting the climb to the top with one arm still around Blade’s waist. With all the exertion, that blow to the head was coming back to haunt her. “Rei and Mika believed in me...so I gotta believe in me too!”
Easier said than done, of course. She was sure this would get her the win over someone like Blade. But she had to reach the top of the turnbuckle first.

Re: Chizuru Nagahara vs. Blade Uehara - One More Reunion
Given her incoherent ramblings and swirly-eyed befuddlement, it was safe to say that Blade's brain was currently out to lunch at the moment. With the rest of her consciousnesses swimming onward in a sea of dizziness with bells ringing in her ears, which to her luck wasn't the ring bell. Whether this miserable state was preferable to the mortification felt from having people oogle Chizuru copping a tender squeeze of her boobs, and Blade's salaciously kinky cooing...was an easy question. Blade would have much rather preferred being knocked senseless like this over leaving behind any lewd highlights for the pervs in the audience to rewind ad nauseam. Of course, Blade would have also preferred to just have Chizuru tap out already and bring this harrowing endurance match to a close already. The weary exhaustion written on both Angels faces and detailing the war they were putting eachother through. Chizuru nuzzling comfortably against Blade's slim stomach until she finally shuffled herself off.
"ERGH..." Blade groaned from the terrible play on her name and from being flipped off of her comfortable resting spot, leaving a slight drool stain on the canvas before once again having herself lifted like dead weight in Chizuru's arms. The weak-kneed, wobbliness to her legs and sagging posture meant that Chizuru practically had free reign to do what she wanted with the once prideful veteran now a rattled mess...which for now was just make shuffling movements to the turnbuckle while delivering an adorable hero speech. One that usually came before the noble shounen hero pulled the deus ex machina out of nowhere and triumphed over all odds...yeah this wasn't looking good for Blade. She herself overhearing all of this before mumbling...
"...DoN'T beleIve in tHe Me whO beLeives in yoU...beleive IN The yOu who BeleiVes iN yoU..." Blade offering nonsensical words of encouragement that really meant nothing at all and were from a rambling and incoherent mind...who was only just than realizing she was once again in Chizuru's strong arms. Blade squinting open her eyes and unintentionally backing her shapely backside up against Chizu's hips from what was most definitely the distinct sensation of being tugged upward. The swell of anticipation in Chizu's favor was becoming more palpable by the second, as well as it should. Especially with one-third of The Three Idiots, a grouping more infamous for their practical jokes and prankster shenanigans rather than their wrestling skills and win record, was about to score an immense upset victory over a vaunted high-flying veteran. An outcome once thought laughable back in Wrestle Angel, though the only one gleefully laughing now might be the German suplexer after she scores the pinfall and hauls Blade backstage to an autograph session she was not looking forward to...
