Wrestle Angel and Rookie: Suzumi Ishikawa vs. AJ Shay!

"Rraaaahhhhh. No way!" Suzumi said as he attempts to lift A.J failed miserably! She was paid with abhard chop across the cheat dor whr effort sending her staggering back a few steps before she collected herself. Suzumi smiled at the old-school tactic. She knew the unwritten rule. She had to respond and she planned on doing so.

Suzumi stepped up, stepping in as she swung her hand across her chest sending a return chop right into A.J's chest as hard as she could! "Just remember that you asked for it...." Suzumi said as she smashed her hand into A.J with force.

Alexa staggered as Suzumi's hand clapped her across the chest. The crowd understanding what was happening now accompanied every slap with calling out "Ooooo!" The rookie wasn't enjoying it quite as much as they were, having just been battered by the veteran. She had taken a step back, but shown a great deal of gusto by getting right back into it.

"We'll see about that!" She tried to smile through the grit of her teeth, still trying to soak in the sting of the first blow. God she was going to regret this tomorrow morning.

She had picked up a few good pointers from her match with Black Fang, and this was the perfect time to put some of them to use. She drew back again, flattening out her hand nice and tight before whipping it down across Suzumi's chest with another brutal chop.

Suzumi was rocked again, stepping back as she stomped in place rubbing her chest! She grit her teeth and screamed as she stepped in, throwing her whole body into another chop aimed exactly where the the first one landed!

Suzumi was actually enjoying this, as a direct no nonsense contest of who could endure more than who. Suzumi was determined not to let A.J get the best of her in this.

Alexa staggered at the blow, taking a half step back as she clutched her chest. She let out a hard exhale, strained with pain. She looked intensely at Suzumi, one eye clenched shut the other narrowed. She was just as determined as before, but the sting in her chest caused her entire body to tense up. Each beast of her pounding heart felt like a dagger against her Rosey bosom now thanks to those chops.

It almost looked as though she was about to falter, taking another step back as if retreating. She twisted, whirling around opposite the Wrestle Angel, coming back around full circle with a raised arm. She brought the spinning chop down at the woman with all the momentum she had built, letting out a battle cry that got a roar from the crowd. "Kiyaaaaah!"

Suzumi's shriek pierced the air as the third chop from A.J landed and she stepped back, stomping in place for a brief second as her chest seared with pain! She grit her teeth and flared her nostrils. She was about to send a third chop into A.J and had to make it good, Suzumi wasn't sure how much more she could take! She stepped back in, practically running as her arm swung forward, her whole body going in to the third chop aimed right at A.J's chest!

Suzumi was trying to chop down a redwood tree with this one. She had to otherwise she wasn't sure how well she could take a fourth chop from A.J.... if she could even take a fourth one at all!

Alexa had thrown everything she had into that chop, And while it staggered Suzumi she remained upright. The rookie hunched slightly, panting heavily as she tried to out the pain out of her mind but it seemed to reach out throughout her entire body. As the veteran straightened up, Alexa did her best to stand tall, waiting for the next blow with a determined glimmer in her eyes.

Suzumi's hand was like thunder, echoing out over the arena. Alexa took a step back on shaky legs, trying to pull herself forward. The pain was paralysing. She felt so heavy, unwieldy. When she moved to step back in, raising her arm high, her knees buckled. Down she went, tripping over herself as she fell forward to the mat. To her knees, and almost to the canvas completely if not for the fact she clung herself onto Suzumi's leg.

She clutched it tightly. Not to trip her up, or attempt a hold. She just needed to squeeze on something to manage the pain. Her head was lowered as she choked back tears that had welled up from the sharp pain.

Suzumi gasped and nearly fell over as A.J leaned against her. She had to capitalize. A.J was smart, technical and tough. That was a nasty combination for any woman to face off against. Taking a deep breath, Suzumi tried to grab one of A.J's arms and pull up as she fell backwards, wrapping her legs around A.J's head and outstretched arm to try to force a submission out of her! A.J had proven that she was able to counter just about anything Suzumi threw at her.

Still, this was a chance too good to pass up. Suzumi could only hope that she was able to get this locked in before A.J registered what was going on! Suzumi had a lot of respect for A.J, but couldn't let that get in the way of her trying to pick up a hard fought win tonight.

Alexa needed to lean against Suzumi. There was no other way. She couldn't put herself on the ground like this, it would only end in ruin. Her breathing came in ragged heaves, shorted by the sting in her chest. She could feel the Wrestle Angel shifting and wasn't sure what to expect. Nothing at first, then she was grabbing her arm, trying to pry her free. Alexa's grip wasn't terrible hard to coax off her however and it wasn't long before the Japanese native had wrenched one free.

She couldn't move, stuck in this position from the pain. Her body wouldn't respond how she wanted. Suddenly she was yanked forward, Suzumi had dropped herself to the canvas. "N-no." Through her single weak process she was pulled down to the mat, and the Wrestle angle slipped her legs around her. As the hold tightened up around her it was like the walls themselves had closed in on her. On her knees she was bent forward and trapped.

Alexa made a soft, pathetic whimper as she lay in the hold, helplessly feeling her energy squeezed out of her. There had been a few small tugs to try and pull free before they had ceased entirely leaving her unmoving in the hold. Her eyelids drifted halfway down as her body adopted the losing strategy of just trying to hold out... But for what? If she was going to be saved, she had to be the one to do it. There was no knight in shining armor on the way, just her. Her half closed eyes drifted slowly to the ropes. She hadn't been in the hold for long but she could already feel the effects. She could faintly hear the referee asking if she wanted to give up. She didn't want to...

Her backside raised slightly as she extended her legs, one, than the other as she dug her boots in and started pushing them along the canvas. She wasn't able to make much ground very quickly but her pace was slowly and steady towards the ropes. It was her only option.

Suzumi looked back in surprise as she saw the ropes much closer than she remembered them! She grit her teeth and wrenched down, again trying to set in as much pain as possible during A.J's escape attempt. The rookie was more than a rookie, she had proven that much by now with relative ease. Suzumi respected her ability and tenacity but that would be shown after the match. After Suzumi raised her hand in victory.

She pulled back as hard as she could, extending her own body back as much as she could to try to get A.J to tap out instead of continuing the match! Still, as much as Suzumi wanted this to win she would again honor any rope break as soon as it was called for. A.J had earned that, and Suzumi was never going to keep a hold locked in if an opponent had gotten to the ropes.

In the back of Suzumi's mind was the fact that A.J could counter or reverse things into holds of her own. She had to be wary but couldn't let that dampen her aggressive approach to this match.

In terms of pain, the tight crushing sensation of Suzumi's legs around half of her upper body was peanuts when compared to her figure four leglock. Not trying to take anything from the woman or the hold, but she would sooner black out than tap to this over the paint alone. Though that may have very well been a possibility. Every time Suzumi ramped up her efforts the road to the ropes was covered in less and less time.

The referee had been with them almost every stage of the way, asking over and over is Alexa wanted to give up. Why did they have to work it that way? It was one thing to say so and so submitted another wrestler. It made the focus be on the winning athlete performing something that ended the match. Saying someone tapped or gave up just made it seem like they couldn't handle things... They surrendered. She hated that.

She was so close now... She could see it, almost touch it. Reaching out, her fingers grasping falling just shy. She blinked as she pawed for the ropes. Something felt off, like the room was slowly twisting. The referee's nagging question becoming one distant. Her hand slowly drifted to the mat where it remained. Her heavy lids came down over her eyes with one last soft exhale.

When there was no response to her question and no further attempt to escape, the referee had dropped to the side of both women. Taking hold of Alexa's wrist, she lifted it up and let it drop limply to the mat. No response. She lifted her arm again, letting it fall to the mat. No response. The third and final time she lifted the girls arm, members of the audience leaned in, everyone was focused on this moment. The referee let go...

Alexa's hand didn't hit the mat. The crowd popped in a sudden uproar. Her hand hung suspended in the air as her eyes snapped open. She tucked her legs in, giving one more firm kick off the ground to flop herself forward and grab the ropes.
