Akino Sanada vs. Peggy McIntyre

Peggy groaned as she was grabbed and sent flying, landing hard on her backside! Her head was pulled back as she flailed her arms and kicked her feet on the mat, stuck in Akino's clutches! This was hardly a good spot for Peggy and she knew it. Reaching up, she grabbed hold of Akino's wrists and tensed up, trying to use power to pull her opponents hands apart! It wasn't elegant or technical but it was a possible quick way out that Peggy had to explore.

"There goes Akino. She can turn momentum against you and seize control of a match on a dime. She is hard to pin down and her holds are something else." Alaina said at the announce table, watching the two fight intently.

Even when she was just a sack of dead weight being chucked over her shoulder, Peggy still somehow found a way to be a royal nuisance to Akino. Simply by being so blasted heavy that Akino half thought she wouldn't be able to pull off the flipping snapmare at the beginning. Luckily she proved herself to be stronger than she thought as the red-head was sent chucked onto her rump with the surly maid firmly attempting a rear naked choke.

"Tch...your muscle-headed friend over there practically choked the life outta me with this one. Just thought I should return the favor...and give you a taste before I get serious." Akino whispered into Peggy's ear with a snarling inflection, weighing herself heavily against the red-heads' back while continuing the constriction on Peggy's throat. Akino prolonged the hold as long as she could before Peggy's struggles were getting her decent progress. She made good on her ominous word by flinging Peggy to the side, the bitter maid following along until Peggy stopped rolling to deliver a quick stomp to her lower back.

Peggy groaned and looked back at Akino. She thought Alaina had made good with her? That wasn't the impression Peggy got. She felt the kick hit her back and she moaned loudly in pain as she rolled towards the ropes, reaching up to use them to help her get back up to her feet. This woman was a real pain in the ass.

To make matters worse Peggy was losing to a woman dressed as a flippin' maid! "I dunno what sort of vendetta ya have against her but I think you may be a tad obsessed or downright crazy!" Peggy said as she tried to spring forward at Akino running and jumping into the air. Peggy led with her feet, aiming a dropkick at Akino's upper chest, her face... really Peggy just wanted to make contact with this woman! The way she kept talking, her body language... as far as Peggy could tell this was a woman who had come unhinged!

Even if she had an amicable understanding with Alaina outside of the ring, Akino couldn't help but be haunted by the distant memories of what transpired in their match and the months it took off of her career before fully recouping. The Amazon herself was there at ringside merrily commentating while Akino was facing off with her protege/partner who wrestled almost the exact same way. Those old feelings of vindictiveness were becoming harder to shrug the more the match progressed...but what made Akino really bristle was Peggy continuously calling her crazy. She was able to shrug it off earlier, but now it was really starting to grate on her nerves.

"You'd better quit calling me crazy real fast, you hear me!!!" Akino snarled out with a piercing glare from her good eye. The totally sane maid than resuming her stalking approach with her fists clenched before the unexpectedly nimble red-head implanted both of her boots into Akino's soft chest. The startled maid would cough out loud and land squarely on the back of her head before tumbling over to sit her butt on her ankles while cradling the back of her head while cursing through gritted teeth.

Peggy sent Akino back and wanted to keep up the offense. Peggy ran after Akino, trying to keep the match moving along at her pace. She knew she had to prevent Akino from using her holds at all costs. She also could see that she had gotten into Akino's head. It could be good to keep her off her game.. or too much could end up making her more dangerous.

Peggy opted to keep her mouth shut for the time being, leaping right at Akino leading with her knee as she tried to plant Akino with a shining wizard! It was an unpleasant move when it hit, but Peggy had also whiffed with this one before and it never ended well for her! Still, she had to keep it moving. This was a gamble Peggy was more than happy to make.

Mouthing off in an unhinged rant may not have been the best way to convey that Akino was of sound mind and not some deranged loon. The surly maid paying for that brief slip in focus and concentration by taking a stiff dropkick squarely to her chest with enough power behind it to send her tumbling back until she was on her knees and upright once more. Akino coughed and sputtered from being regretfully reminded of Alaina's own explosive dropkicks, something she evidently schooled Peggy on.

"...*cough*...d-dammit..." Akino bitterly groaned before shifting her one-eyed gaze upward to see the rampaging red-head barreling straight towards her. Scant few seconds to react meant that Akino could only brace for impact before being flattened back down to the canvas in a swirling, grimacing daze thanks to what felt like being run over by an Irish locomotive. Akino could already hear the inane banter from Alaina's backseat commentating already...

"Peggy can be scary when she builds up momentum. I've been at the wrong end of her offense in the gym and it'll take ya down fast if you let it." Alaina said reflecting on some spars, a few of which led to Peggy as the victor. "She is rolling, and if Akino wants to win this one she will have to stop her momentum in its tracks."

Inside the ring Peggy was smiling, clapping her hands as she rose up, running over towards the turnbuckle. She jumped up from the mat to the top in one bound, perching up on top. She checked back over her shoulder to see that Akino was still in the same spot. Peggy stood tall and then leapt back, flipping through the air as she sailed right at Akino, trying to crash down on top of her with a moonsault splash from the top rope!

Yeah, there it was. Sometimes Akino hated being right...well, she hated a lot of things. But this time she would have rather been proven wrong and not had to overhear Alaina's insipid comments about things the surly maid already knew. Or were unpleasant lessons she was about to be educated in as she remained splayed out and in a swirling haze after being clocked by Peggy's shin in the rampaging shining wizard.

"Nngh..." Akino opened her one good eye and twisted her head to the side in her best attempt at scanning her surroundings, only for her heart to sink at the foreboding sight of an airborne Irish woman one millisecond before she came crashing down on top of her. Peggy's taut abdominal muscles splashing across Akino's stomach with enough force to send reverberations through their side of the ring, the surly maid expelling all the air in her lungs in one fell swoop. Her limbs jolting up before flopping back down, Akino was now unmoving aside from some light shuffling as she remained pinned down by Peggy and her rolling momentum.

Peggy reached down to hook a leg as she stayed on top of Akino to pin her! Peggy had the momentum and hoped that she could ride it out to a quick victory!

"ONE!"

Peggy kept the leg hooked, trying her best to keep Akino down. She knew the woman was dangerous but had been rolling so far. She hoped that maybe she had done enough to secure a quick victory against her. Peggy would rather not be subjected to her holds and other nasty forms of offense. Offense that would very quickly turn the tables if applied. Peggy had underestimated women before, and was not trying to get caught off guard again...

Despite their numerous similarities in the ring, Akino didn't remember Alaina taking to the air with as much tenacity as Peggy does. Her leaner frame probably made her more aerodynamic than Alaina's more muscled stature, which explained how she was capable of flipping through the air with such dead-on precision upon impact. In any case, it was one stark difference between them that Akino had to learn the hard way as she bitterly mumbled and groaned when Peggy wisely remained right where she landed for a seamless pin attempt. The one-eyed maid feeling her leg being hooked, which in the process offered the grateful ringside audience members a peek up her frilly skirt.

"TWO!"

"The hell offa me!!!" Akino snarled out with an equally impassioned kickout, the surly maid rolling over to create some distance between her and Peggy. She flopped onto her front side with a sputtering cough thanks to Peggy's moonsault having taken the wind right out of her sails. But through sheer grit and determination she was already shuffling back up to her knees while cradling her midsection with a wincing grimace, the surly maid moving at a pace most wouldn't expect coming from someone who had just been pancaked to the canvas.
