Deep inside, Sabrina was nervous.

Not just because it's her debut, one that she has been looking forward to since she heard of this league, but because of the match details and the opponent she will be facing. Not that she has anything to put a name to a face but she heard of the name "Juggernaut" muttered around before. Rather imposing and scary in fact, apparently known to be the terror in the gym. A name like juggernaut would mean many things. The main one being, tough. And it's in a match that's sure to get rough. Rhyme not intended. But she has faced bigger and tougher before. Well, everyone is bigger and tougher when you're 5'1". But she has the skills to do well. Her martial arts hasn't failed her before and they won't fail now. Plus, she had manga characters to encourage her. If they can do the seemingly impossible then she can too.

The small girl steps out of the curtains as her theme hits, coming with a relatively decent pop. Inside she was a little nervous but outside, she was all too confident. The crowd not only noticing her small height but the large buns in her hair, thinking she probably would fit in Kawaii. But she was a fighter still and a competitor. She wore a long Chinese dress with two splits on the sides, golden flower inlays and black panties underneath. Her nails painted red and going in with red and gold flats. Sabrina starts to adorn flower pedals as she climbs the ropes and enters the ring. She takes off the long arm sleeves that looked way too big for her, chucking them out of the ring before she would face the entrance, awaiting to see what the Juggernaut really looks like. She looks to be all zen, rather serious and ready to do battle.

Cicilia walked out into the arena when it was her time, her music blasting out over the stadium-like arena to announce her arrival. The German smiled a little as the crowd screamed their appreciation of her, thankful that she had at least some amount of fans among the AFW. Maybe she wasn't as hopeless at this sport as she thought she was... She let out a soft sigh, adjusting her arm-bands on her way down. As she made her way up to the arena, she observed her opponent already inside, noting how SMALL she was... 5 feet flat maybe. Cicilia herself towered over her by more than half a foot! Her outfit was also something she had to question: a kimono of sorts (maybe...?) that looked hard enough to move and fight in... Much like her sentiment with high-heels, who ever fought in a dress? It felt like a handicap to her but whatever... it wasn't her place to judge. She was just here to earn her keep.

Cicilia slipped under the bottom rope smoothly, jumping to her feet, her arms tensed and ready for battle. This girl looked like such a lightweight... Like one punch from her would drop this girl flat. Why... oh why... was she scheduled to fight another midget...? The last time she'd fought one, she dropped her with one hit! For her sake, she hoped this girl had a better attitude.

As for the ring, there was a long wooden table off to the side, folded up and lodged in a corner, their winning condition for this match. It was thin enough for someone to be broken through without crippling them, a good thing because that's how a winner was decided.

"Damn it..." She sighed under her breath, realizing that she'd have to do some high flying in this match to break this poor girl though this table. Some way to get better at something she sucked at...

"Good luck and all that." She said with a soft nod, raising her arms and shifting into her favored boxing stance. Might as well try to be friendly. It was more than she could expect from most of the wrestlers she's fought. "Lets put on a good show."

Ah. So here comes the Juggernaut. And true to her name, she does indeed look....big. Though almost everyone is big when it comes to Sabrina. It was something she grown accustomed to. It wasn't the first she faced someone bigger, someone stronger and no doubt would she be the last. Though Cicilia is the first big opponent she has faced in AFW. Then again, that isn't saying much.

Cicilia didn't have to say anything, Sabrina could sense her disdain (?) that she has to face someone smaller. Most of the crowd would think that Cicilia would bulldoze Sabrina and throw her to the table. She gave a soft and quiet sigh as her opponent entered the ring.

At the very least, Cicilia wasn't arrogant nor nasty, rather friendly at first. Wherever she truly is or its hiding some other intention remains to be seen. For now, Sabrina would simply bow to her opponent, hand on palm, giving courtesy to her opponent. This was her time now. She was a bit nervous still but outside appearances did a damn good job at not showing it. "Xieie." Meaning thank you in her mother tongue. "Like the petals of a rose in the wind, let us dance." She would get to her stance, right leg back, hands open in contrast of Cicilia's closed fists, crouching a little, almost like the cat stance. The bell would ring soon afterwards, Sabrina beginning to circle round the bigger opponent.

Cicilia knew not what this "Xieie" word meant but the German nodded as the girl prepared herself to fight. Instead of taking on a traditional combat stance like the boxer's stance or that hunched-over gorilla stance wrestlers used, she slipped into something that was a bit more feral. She looked like one of those weird cat-people she kept seeing on the covers of manga all over this country, "nekos" they were called... It was the kind of stance she imagined one of THOSE would take when going into battle. She couldn't imagine what kind of benifits that could do for her but if she wanted to lose that much faster, who was she to complain?

Cicilia too began to circle her as the bell*dinged*, signalling the match to start. The two of them moved in a circle around the center of the arena, the boxer slowly closing in on her with each cycle of their "dance". After about a minute of this, the German would close in suddenly, throwing a quick running jab down into the girl's face. It was so weird punching down... This would've been much easier if the girl was just a few inches taller... If the punch hit, she'd raise her knee to slam into the girl's gut, hard enough to maybe drop her to her knees. The sooner she was incapacitated, she sooner she could get that table set up...

Rather using the conventional stances that most people would have gotten used to see, Sabrina opted for something rather unusual in the ring. While seeing something new is always a welcome sight, the crowd would wonder what uses it would have practically. Funny, she hasn't been called a neko before. Must be a new thing.

The bell would ring, and the two circle around the ring, Sabrina remaining cautions for now before she could see what she is dealing with. Her movements crisp and clean, moving with grace. Calm, serious, she certainly feels like one of those heroes in mangas about to duel with a giant. Which is pretty much most fights.

What seemed to be for an eternity, but was only a few moments in reality, Cicilia closed in on the small girl. Sabrina knew that she would have to punch lower than she would normally, her fist travelling down for her face. Sabrina jumped into action, one of the palms moving to time it well so she could deftly smack her palm on that fist to redirect it before moving to the side and forward diagonally, just to sneak past Cicilia. 

Just as she does, Sabrina chambers her leg a little before shooting her foot down, firing her heel straight for the back of her knee. For now, she will just work on chopping this grand tree down...

Cicilia's eyes widened as the girl deflected her punch with much grace and a lack of apparent effort, her palm deftly shoving it just wide of it's target in a way that earned her respect. That wasn't something you saw every day... Usually, wrestlers either blocked, dodged or took your hits and it was only now that one actually tried to deflect and counter. Yeah... She deserved respect for her agility and craftiness. Respect wouldn't matter all that much right now though as the girl proceeded to drop down and slip past the juggernaut, her boot slamming right into the back of her knee, taking her leg out from under her! Gasping in surprise, the German fell forward, falling to her hands and knees as she was barely able to stop herself from planting face first against the mat.

"Rrgh..." She growled, suddenly kicking out with her own leg to strike wildly at her opponent. Hoping to nail her somewhere between her chest and her stomach to make her pay for her use of strategy! Not just anyone could fell her so easily. Whether through raw strength or technique, anyone that could knock her down with their first move needed to be taken seriously.

Parrying, deflecting, countering...seems to be something lost in the ring. That and courtesy. And there are more ways to avoid an attack. Either way, Sabrina wanted to show she's gotta work hard to catch her. She won't be caught so easily. 

And to make her pay for her folly, a kick right to the back of the knee soon had the big juggernaut falling onto the canvas almost face first, her hands saving her from the embarrassment. Sabrina's eyebrow cocked up as she moved behind her. Surely she was tougher than this? Or maybe Sabrina has grown more than she realised. Though the sight of, by Cicilia's words, a midget taking the Juggernaut down with one attack was impressive and would shut the doubters wrong. 

Never one to attack a downed opponent, Sabrina would show mercy in waiting for Cicilia to get up to her feet. However, Cicilia thew her kick while grounded, coming as a surprise to Sabrina as the kick came wildly, her hands crossing for an X block to guard her chest. Guarding, while stops the opponent from getting a clean his is a benefit for those stronger than her. Diminutive as she is, Sabrina took the force on her forearms, but in return, sending her stumbling back and falling on her tush.

Feeling the raw power of that kick, Sabrina made a mental note to not do that again. She needed those arms and defense would be hard with battered arms. Wincing, she would push up to her feet, keeping an eye on her opponent.

Cicilia's wild kick certainly struck something, pushing the girl away and giving her enough time to get to her feet! She turned as got back up, spotting that, in fact, she hadn't hit anywhere that would do any damage, the crossed arms over her chest proving that, obviously. She let out a heavy sigh, content that she at least kept the girl from following up with anything too damaging. Her skill was nothing to laugh at... She wouldn't just be able to slug her way through this, was she...?

The German turned to face her opponent, her body notably loosening up as she bobbed lightly on her heels, her stance far more fluid and mobile than the one she entered the arena with.

Swarmer Stance

Being a tank didn't matter all that much when you could easily be outmaneuvered by your opponent and brought down so easily. If this girl wasn't as strong as she was, then she'd be a bit more hesitant with this plan... Since she wasn't the German was going to have to resort to her least-favorite stance. Cicilia stood there, waiting for the girl to make the first move this time. she wasn't going to get a neat little counter this time around.

She had the courtesy of not attacking a downed opponent, something she has been used to in her tournaments. A good thing and a bad thing for Sabrina but it remains to be seen in this debut. With her arms taking a big and wild hit, Sabrina made a mental note to not block those shots again, lest she wants her arms to be rendered useless. Cicilia had power, no doubt about that. So Sabrina had to be extra careful to not get caught, blocked or clean hit.

With Cicilia getting up to her feet, Sabrina went back to her stance. The fighter trained eyes can see the difference of the German's stance, more fluid, more lighter than the one she had used before. Maybe Cicilia is taking her seriously after all...

Sabrina drew inward, abandoning any needlessly dramatic circling to just simply approach the Juggernaut. Her arms lowered to her sides, slow, steady steps. The more fight-savvy watchers could see each deliberate placement of each foot, the tenseness in her arms, the slight pivot of her ankle, The Rose of the Orient was mindful of the long range in which Cicilia could strike at for a much more quicker attack, stepping in and out of that range of sorts. It wouldn't go on for long before Sabrina would indeed step right in.

Her right leg swinging up and quite high, Sabrina's plan was to strike with a snappy roundhouse, whistling up and quickly to the Juggernaut's hip. She wouldn't be done there however, Sabrina would go for another, not withdrawing her leg though, which would mean the attack will have less power. Although, a second kick isn't what she was looking for, Sabrina's leg lowering to try and hook her leg with Cicilia's left before really coming in close to drive the side of her back and her shoulder onto the Juggernaut and take her off balance. No doubt would Sabrina would look to follow up should both attacks work as intended...

Cicilia moved in to advance on the girl caring not for her little fake-outs and bobbing in and out of striking range. She didn't need to play that game, throwing attacks the instant she moved within arms reach. If she continued to attempt to bait Cicilia like this, she'd find herself actually backing up more and more as the juggernaut continued to advance on her, each of her little step backs taking her closer and closer to the ropes where more and more of her speed and agility would be useless. If not, she'd move in for the kick to the German's hip, the boxer suddenly lunging inward so the woman's shin would go right past her intended target as the boxer closed the distance at a pretty rapid pace. With the kick behind her, Cicilia would throw a powerful over-handed punch down into the woman's cheek, a certain kind of punch that made dodging or ducking an absolute pain due to the angle in which it came down. Sabrina would find that the juggernaut's attack was much faster than before but lacking the power she'd experienced before, making the fighter she was engaging now a different ballgame.

Whether or not that punch connected Cicilia would reach out with that same hand, grabbing at the woman's neck before drawing in for a strong knee to her gut with the intent of stunning her and leaving her open to an assault. She wanted to make this woman's attempts to get close as painful as possible and her attempts to run away just as ugly.
