AV 17 Rookie tournament: Zoey Jao Oh vs. Eliza Morgan

Zoey had never been in a car accident before. Not that she was the best driver on the road or anything. But nevertheless, she always found a way to steer clear of any real danger.

So, from what she understood about that kind of incident, this scenario wasn’t too far off. Eliza came down like a barreling car over a pile of haystacks, crashing into the TKD chick like she was the cleanest, most pristine automobile at the demolition derby. What remained of the table had dug into her side, forcing one hand there as she inspected the damage.

No cuts. No blood. Guess that was good. Didn’t really want any of that going down in a standard match.

Didn’t bode well for the rest of her, though. Eliza had done a pretty damn good job at attempting to turn Zoey into the world’s first human pancake, but where she failed only left endless pain in its wake for the Korean-American. She wanted to stand up. Wanted to throw a punch. Wanted to do something if it meant getting this bitch back, but her body wasn’t having any of that.

It was somewhat of a blessing, then, when the Texan yanked her up by her hair, rousing her body to life for a brief second before it went back to its recovery. Zoey doubted her sincerity, however, as she was brought back over to the ring. It was nice that she wasn’t taking the loser’s way out, and the TKD chick was being given another chance by fate, but she also wasn’t in much of a position to fight back. As Eliza slid her through the bottom rope, Zoey knew she could only rely on the one bit working for her now. Her brain.

She could just faintly hear the “eight!” from the referee one second, and then an idea sprung into her head the next.

She looked down at Eliza with a cheeky grin on her face. It would have been good to see the Texan’s face when at the moment, but all the same, Zoey was going to laugh her ass off afterward. As much as it sucked to win by DQ, it was gonna suck a hell of lot more for someone like Eliza. Someone who lived for the fight and fanfare. Someone who had nightmares about exactly this kind of moment. Zoey brought her leg back and shot it forward at Eliza’s face as she leaned into the ring, kicking her back out for the ten count.

It wasn't the most comfortable landing that Eliza experienced, she would rather be landing on a large stack of hay. Though she shouldn't really say much, Eliza wasn't the one that has crashed through the announcer table. The Texan fared a lot more better than her Korean-American opponent.

Getting out of the wreckage and moving away from the Russian announcers who have a few 'nice' words to say to the girls for destroying their table, Eliza worked to get them both in the ring before the count out. Trying to escape a cheap loss to advance through to the next round of the tournament. In her mind, Eliza was set on one thing. She was gonna get the pin and win. Cleanly. Right in the middle of the ring. That was the dream. It wasn't such a good look, winning by count out. That's the really easy way! And she would be dammed if she took that cheap ass way to win!

She got Zoey in before Eliza herself would start to climb into the ring. Sure she has her little niggles but she was faring a lot better than the TKD maven. Once the All-American would get in, things will be back to business as usual, the fun-loving Texan giving some whoop-ass. Although while Eliza wasn't ok with a Count-Out win, the sneaky Zoey seemed to be.

Just as she leaned into the ring, Zoey threw her kick out, aiming straight towards the face of Eliza! It was at that moment when the crowd froze and looked in shock, the count was oh so close to that ten count and if it connects then it would give Zoey the win, and they weren't prepared to see that! No one would be, all except for Zoey that is.

Though it wouldn't just go as planned for the Korean-American...

As her foot shoots out, Eliza soon grabbed it, just as the count "NINE!" drops. Or "TEN!" for the crowd, though it is masked a bit by the Russian crowd's pop. Eliza's eyes stared into Zoey's intensely. If they were cerulean pools before then they were a cerulean colored blazing fire! As if Zoey didn't get the memo it wasn't wise to piss-off a Texan.

If not, then the memo will be sent personally by your's truly.

Growling, looking rather pissed, some of the crowd warning her of the ten count that is imminent. She slides in under the ropes, using the grasp of her leg to pull herself in while dragging Zoey closer some, stopping the count out. But things were just getting started....

Getting in wasn't really enough. Getting on her knees, she scrambles towards Zoey, looking to mount on top of her stomach and get her left hand on the hair of Zoey with the right clenched tight, aiming to rain down punches down onto the TKD Maven!

People may have thought that Zoey was more of a person interested in having a challenge. Someone that enjoyed having an equal and proper fight with the toughest competitor that could be thrown at her. Someone that would rather take a hard loss than an easy fight any day. And that was true.

To a point.

When the fight had clearly escalated beyond a simple back and forth, all bets were off in Zoey’s book. This wasn’t just about winning anymore. This was about Eliza losing in the worst goddamn way possible. She wanted this to be on the records, for the All-American to go back to years from now and cry into her pillow about over and over again. And what better way to make that happen than doing it in front of the whole world?

So when Zoey felt her kick stop short of impact, her heart stopped for a moment as she tilted her head slowly to get a look at what had just happened. In that same instant, her blood turned cold. She gazed into that blazing abyss latent within Eliza’s eyes and saw her future unfold before her in a hellish maelstrom of Texan terror. Someone was most definitely going to be crying into their pillow in the near future.

But it wasn’t going to be Eliza. The woman yanked her closer as she crawled in, simultaneously beating the ten count and pinning the TKD chick beneath that iron body. She looked up with eyes the size of dinner plates at the Texan beauty, scowling down at her with enough hatred to kill her in a heartbeat.

“Shit-”

Zoey tried to guard the first hit, bringing her forearms up and blocking her face, but quickly saw the futility in that. Eliza’s knuckles dug in deep, crashing between them and scoring a hit right on the bridge of her nose. The power was too much to hit.

“Shit-!”

The next hit was even worse. It cracked her jaw, knocking most of her senses far away from her. She couldn’t even muster an attempt at a guard. Not good.

“Wait-”

Her body was essentially jerking back and forth between the ground now, with Eliza’s fists ravaging her face. It was hard to even think.

“Okay! O-”

BAM!

“He-”

CRACK!

“I’m sorr-”

WHAP!

“I’m-”

SMACK!

“Some...”

WHAM!

“...body.”

CRUNCH!

“Any...”

The rest of her words tapered off into nothingness. She felt like nothing. Was nothing. She couldn’t even register the match any longer beyond the onslaught of pain the All-American rained down upon her. Nothing short of pure stubbornness was keeping Zoey awake at this point, but even that felt like it was running short.

Winning was far from her mind at the moment. Right now, she was just trying to survive.

From first impressions, Eliza had thought that Zoey, with all the talk that she made, was at least someone that would give a fight for the Texan, especially in a tournament in a big Pay-Per-View like Avalanche! Eliza was one to bring it everytime she came to the ring and she expected her opponent to do the same. Bit of her fight etiquette, you know.

Though she might have expected a tad too much from the Korean-American opponent.

The signs were there though. The whole Zoey Ja Oh Spittoon thingy that she did rather than raining fists down onto the All-American was a big tell. Though that was just one occasion. Once they get back to the ring, they would be throwing fists at each other, just as it would play out in Eliza’s mind. This was a big match, in her eyes and the crowd expected a fight to start off the tournament!

Next time, don’t expect things will pan out like you think it will.

That kick was the last straw, there were two strikes and if the Lord be her witness, she wasn’t about to get a third! She was disappointed. Eliza had hoped there was going to be a fight. But a beat down would have to suffice. The All-American climbed inside of the ring, beating the countout victory fantasy that Zoey had, and as she climbed on top of Zoey, she was gonna beat the stuffing out of her face!

What Zoey should have done before when she got on top of her, Eliza cocked her fist before firing it right on the bridge of her nose. Then it was her jaw. Then probably the cheekbone. Then wherever she felt like hitting. The crowd cheering with each hit landed.

And somewhere in the world, or in this arena, someone was shouting “WORLDSTAR!” Probably in another language even.

Was Eliza sadistic? No, she doesn’t really take pleasure in watching someone be in pain and close to calling for momma. She just needed to send the memo that the whole “count-out” shit wasn’t gonna fly. Now when you’re in the ring with Eliza. The blonde held her fist, her hair falling over her face as she looked down, a sheen of sweat forming on her body, even her forehead. She considered hitting her again. But after waiting a beat, she decided against it.

Moving off from Zoey’s body, Eliza still kept the grip on her hair, now just focused on getting the half-awake TKD Maven up to her feet. “Git up…” She said with a low growl.

Holy shit, Eliza was going to murder her. She was absolutely going to kill her.

It wouldn’t be immediate. She wouldn’t beat her to absolute death in the middle of the ring, not while she was still breathing. But when she got to that backstage, she was absolutely convinced that she was going to die on that operating table. Eliza just hit with that much force, that much hate in this moment.

So it must have been God or some Supreme Being smiling down on her that Eliza decided to suddenly stop her rampage short.

Honestly, the relief was as negligible as it was short-lived. Zoey couldn’t feel her face anymore. Could hardly register anything that was going on beyond the rough hand grabbing at her hair and what sounded like a terrifying beast commanding her to stand up. She was suddenly able to empathize with a tender piece of meat, pounded beyond belief by a butcher’s mallet. This sucked. This sucked so fucking bad, and it was only going to get worse.

Zoey made her way up to two feet on wobbly knees and shifting feet. She had to cling to Eliza’s sweaty frame for a bit of it, but her mind was hardly focused on whether or not that would piss the Texan off any more. She knew she didn’t have much of a fighting chance the way she was now, even if she was back on two feet. She needed an out. Fast.

“Look...look.” She held both her hands up as she rose. “We-we can talk this out-”

Sike. Her hands immediately latched onto the Texan’s shoulders as she brought her leg forward, ramming her knee into Eliza’s crotch. The moment she felt her opponent capsize, Zoey would snake an arm around her neck and look to drive the pissed-off blonde into the mat with a haphazard DDT.

Was it cheap? Sure, but she was also just about to win by countout and brushed with death all in less than a minute. As far as Zoey was concerned, principles had gone out the window. She was going to win this match one way or another, even if the referee didn’t agree with her.

Zoey best start picking whatever God or deity there was and pray with how the match was turning for her. If only she didn’t piss off a Texan….

And she had to learn the hard way as the wrestling match tuned into an MMA style match instead. Eliza’s fists battering Zoey’s face to the point that she can’t even feel it. Perhaps there maybe a future for the All-American in the octagon. Or in a bar.

Luckily for the Korean-American, Eliza stopped the beat down. From what she said when she first stepped foot in this ring, it all holds true. Zoey was in for a good ass-whoopin’ and that little ground and pound was only just the start of it. The All-American had something planned in mind. A big finish. Something to get things back on track on the road to stardom and greatness. For that, she needed to get Zoey on her feet first to set this big plan in action. So far, so good. Apart from having to put effort into making sure the TKD Maven could actually stand than anything else. Eliza’s grip on her hair meant that she had the support she needed. That and the motivation to do so when your scalp starts to burn like hell when someone holds you by the hair.

Though Zoey’s raised hands and pleas were half ignored by the Texan. Frankly she didn’t really care what this loudmouth Korean had to say, the All-American though that she shut her mouth more times than she could count. And yet she’s still talking. With a quizzical look that was mixed with annoyance, Eliza paused, thinking she should seek to go and shut her up for good. Put a gag to shut her piehole. Though that pause gave Zoey the chance to catch her unawares.

“GAAAAH!” All of a sudden she felt a searing pain radiating from her crotch, her eyes almost poking out, mouth agape as she received a hard knee right up the crotch! The Texan doubled over, momentarily weak in the knees. If there was a way to get her more pissed off than before, that would do it. Eyes closed, teeth gritted as her grip left her hair to massage her aching crotch. “Sunnuva-“ Her muttering of the many curses that swirled in her mind was cut off and soon rattled in her head once Zoey performed a hard hitting, yet haphazard DDT that had the mad Texan’s forehead hitting the canvas. “Uggh!”

The audience booing at the Korean-American for her actions, meanwhile Eliza was just cursing Zoey in her mind. So many words she could say. But she was just left seething as the blonde curled in a fetal position, one of her hands went to rub at her forehead. Eliza knew this was going to hurt in the morning!

“Back up!” The referee shoved her aside. She almost stumbled before she regained her footing and looked back at the official. “You’re done if that happens again! Fight fair!”

Wow. Russian refs take this shit seriously.

Actually, guess that was just a thing with Russians in general if this crowd was anything to go by. If she’d done that back in Tokyo, she would have definitely squeezed a few laughs out of that. The Japanese fanbase of AFW seemed a bit more into the usual ring antics of pro wrestling. Liked the unpredictability. Liked it for the entertainment value rather than for the actual fight itself. It was a show, not a contest. Probably explains why it was the only country where hentai matches really became a thing.

Russia had a different outlook on fighting, it seemed.

There was nothing but jeers and boos waiting for Zoey the moment after she went for the low blow. Not one face in the audience seemed pleased at what came box standard in Zoey’s neighborhood. Unlike the patrons back home, Moscow really was here for an honest fight. The beginnings of a long and promising tournament. She was fighting on the international stage right now and had to keep that in mind.

Well, fuck them anyway. She was in this far. No way in hell was she letting this slip away from her.

Zoey just threw up her hands and looked off to the side as she made her way back over to the opponent. Eliza seemed to have realized the limits of the tough girl act now, cradling up like a little baby. All that was missing was the thumb in her mouth. She reached down and grabbed the blonde by her hair, forcing her back up to two feet.

“What’s’ wrong, Tex? Thought you were givin’ me a real fight?” She reached down and gave the Texan a quick slap on the ass. “Giddy’ up, cowgirl!”

What? Nothing wrong with stirring the pot.

Actually, this was more like lighting the fuse. Yeah...yeah, not smart. Zoey aimed to throw the blonde bombshell before she went off, yanking her arm and throwing her with an Irish Whip towards the nearest turnbuckle.

"Godfuckingpieceofshitbitchcheatingmotherfuckingcunnt.... Among the many curses that she could think of as she laid in the fetus position.

A low blow? Man, really?

Eliza shouldn't really be surprised though. Zoey went out of her way to use dirty and humiliation tactics before then so with the glorious wisdom of hindsight, the Texan should have seen it coming. But she didn't and got hit in the babymaker.

Great stuff.

At least the crowd of Moscow was behind her in her thinking of an honest fight, that idea has gone straight out of the window now and they were not happy. Fighting in a international stage was a big thing for Eliza and to see that kind of tactics used like that didn't bode well. Not that Zoey in particular cared but Eliza herself did.

Forced back up to her feet, her hands were occupied with the body parts that were hurting at the moment. Wincing as he felt the roots of her hair almost leaving her scalp, which gave much more of an incentive to get back up to her feet. Though then came something that would temporarily have her forget about the pain she was feeling when she got a slap on the ass!

Hold the fuck up, did she just slap her ass as if she was a hoe!? Or a horse!?

This bitch.

Almost straightened up, her eyes flared by another humiliation tactic, almost in disbelief that this has happened. That was the last straw in her mind. It was the last straw when she spat on her, sure. But dammit this was definitely the last fucking straw!

While she stewed at this, Eliza found herself being slung by Zoey, rushing towards the corner and finding her back smacked onto the padded turnbuckles. Arms draped on the ropes and starring a thousand daggers at the TKD Maven with the meanest look she has given right now.

Zoey dropped down to one knee for a second after she slung Eliza across the ring. Wasn’t something she meant to do. It just happened, like she’d lost all of the air in her lungs all at once for some reason. Maybe she hadn’t fully recovered from the tough Texan’s barrage, but that wasn’t really a big deal right now. She had this woman on the ropes.

It could also have been she was just approaching her limit. But if that was the case, Eliza had to be close to hers, too. Maybe. Hopefully. Possibly? All that anger couldn’t have been great for moderation.

Either way, she could knock that fire straight out of her. It wouldn’t take much. Just one, good, strong hit. She was in the corner. She was open. She was vulnerable. Zoey could fucking do this.

The scowl on Eliza’s face didn’t pass her by, either. That may have been discouraging to more than a few people, but the Korean-American was in too deep to turn back now. Here was where things counted. Eliza clearly wasn’t going to take any more shit. It was time for Zoey to pull out the big guns.

She stood back and gave each of her knuckles a good couple cracks. Zoey’s smirk revived back to its full strength.

“Growl all you want, Tex. It won’t change shit.” She cracked her neck to the side and started to take slow steps forward, building up to a run. “You don't fucking get it. You can’t beat me. You don’t got the skill! You ain’t got the fire!” She tore into a full-on sprint, heading top speed towards Eliza. “Here’s something you better get: that trophy’s mine!”

Just a couple feet away from her opponent, Zoey pivoted on her hips and leaped high into the air. Spinning around to the best of her ability in mid-air, the TKD chick would shoot her leg out, looking to knock the All-American’s lights out for a good long while.

Even Eliza herself would admit that she is feeling more than just bumps and niggles at this point in her match. Doing better than Zoey, that was perhaps true, if it was the case of who took the most overall this match so far.

While most of her was spent hating on the Korean-American before her and imagining she had lazer beams to burn this bitch, a tiny bit of her kinda saw there was a bit of a pattern to Zoey. Taunt, attack, taunt, attack. The taunt part came alright, Eliza was right when she called her the 'chick with the big mouth'. Just doesn't know what that mouth of hers lands her into.

And she took her time to get her monologue out. The cracking of her knuckes, the attempts to intimidate the All-American which kinda fails when someone is ticked off at you...all to set up for that big finish or something. All the while most would just get it over with already and just focus on winning.

That did gave her a bit of time for Eliza to dig deep within herself and tap into just a bit more energy. Her forehead maybe throbbing like hell and she definitely haven't forgotten that cheap shot this bitch did. Eliza remembered why she came here. And that was to win.

To win the whole damn tournament!

Her hands gripped on the ropes, her body tensing, head lowered some. Zoey thinks she hasn't got the fire inside her. That she hasn't got the skill. And that she can't beat her. The Texan's life was spent proving the doubters wrong. No way was she gonna stop now!

Just a few more steps and Zoey charged right in at top speed as if she was trying out for the Olympics. Never too late to prepare. Getting close enough, the TKD chick leaped into the air, her body spinning and her leg hurtling towards her intended target. The spin itself gave her enough time for Eliza to duck under the leg, her blonde hair getting clipped by the leg of Zoey but in terms of her skull, pretty safe. Slipping under, Eliza went into a high speed sprint of her own, dashing towards the ropes of the other side before ricocheting off them with momentum added into it, her nostrils flared, the All-American attempting to drive her shoulder, full on launching at the Korean-American as she looks to perform a spear!
