Triin Liiv vs GASTER - The Baltic Knightess vs The Shadow Lord

In any other situation, even a thought of being hit with a Piledriver would make the, seemingly brave in the face of her opponent, Shadow Lord tremble with fear. This move scared her the most, knowing both how powerful and how damaging the move could be, with both the attacker's and the victim's weight coming down on the poor wrestler's head. If she, in any way, predicted she would going to be hit with something like that, she would try and run, try and fight back, do anything to avoid being hit by that...

...but sadly for her, one solid knee to her gut put a kebosh on all those plans, as Triin put her head between her legs, and held her up for a split second, not giving her Shadow-y opponent any chance to react or reverse the move, Triin swiftly sitting down, driving her smaller opponent's head straight into the canvas!

GASTER wouldn't let out a single sound as she fell to her back after the moves swift execution, the bright lights of the arena above her deeming for a short moment, while the back of her neck tingled with pain, and the top of her head which landed on the canvas pulsed with burning sensation. The only part of the spray eagled GASTER that was moving was her petite chest, moving up and down as she inhaled and exhaled air, barely able to move a muscle as the Baltic Knightess loomed over head...

Did Triin usually execute Piledrivers? Was she very adept at using them? Not really. But she had been subjected to them a couple of times. She knew the basic technique and its efficiency. She also knew that GASTER was an opponent light enough for her to try one out. And based on the Shadow Lord's behavior during the course of the match, no one in the arena was surely expecting the knightess to give any mercy to her masked foe.

Triin's strategy of making the move nothing spectacular, just quick and effective turned out to produce great results. Apparently GASTER hadn't seen the move coming at all. Just like that, the Shadow Lord was dumbfounded and stationary on the mat. And the crowds were roaring.

Originally, Triin had imagined that the Piledriver could serve as a great way to immobilize GASTER for a submission move. But now, maybe one would be unnecessary. Triin couldn't see behind her foe's mask, and she had no idea about her condition. But based on her posture, maybe she could go straight for the pin.

The debuting knightess then decided to proceed sitting on GASTER's chest, hoping to end the match by schoolgirl pinning her petite foe to the ground, her body filling with excitement.

Between loud ringing in her ears, her eyes seeing doubles of the light of the arena above her, all that the hurt Shadow Lord could feel was her larger opponent sitting down on top of her chest, making the simple process of breathing that much more difficult for her.

"ONE!"

The first count was barely audible to the Shadow Lord...but slowly but surely, she started hearing the cheering crowd over the ringing in her ears, before hearing quite clearly a loud: "TWO!", from the referee.

"THRE-----NO!!!"

Right at the last millisecond of the fall, the masked Shadow Lord shot her arm up into the air, raising her shoulder off of the canvas, breaking the pinfall much to the shock from the crowd!

It was so close in fact, that the stripe shirted official had to leap off to stand up to show to the timekeeper, that the count was, in fact, broken at 2.9, with the man at the bell staying his hand to allow the match to continue.

Despite having gone through some tough times in her debut match, the Baltic knightess was now close to finally winning it. GASTER was motionless on the mat after Triin's piledriver, and the moment seemed perfect for a pinning attempt. But what kind of one?

The schoolgirl pin had always appeared a rather dominant position to Triin, and the idea of performing that struck her as possibly being a good chance to finish off the match in a convincing manner. Combine that with the already successful Piledriver and she'd be looking awesome!

Triin was ready to raise her hands up signaling a victory. And she almost did. "No? What no?" the knightess thought as she turned her head towards the ref. A timekeeper? What on earth was that? "Who the hell brings a timekeeper to the ring anyway?"

"Looks like you got lucky!" Triin then said turning her focus to her masked foe again. By now, she would have really, really wanted to uncover her face. It would have made observing her foe's condition just so much easier.

But she wasn't going to do that. Not now, at least. She wasn't that mean.

She was mean enough to plan for a torturing submission hold though. Grabbing hold of GASTER's rebellious arm, the knightess then used her legs trying to roll her masked foe over onto her belly. Then, she'd try to shove the arm locked between her legs, and apply a Crossface hold on her masked foe.

"Nnnggghhhhh...", the hurt Shadow Lord moaned in pain. Though she did manage to kick out, she was still heavily damaged from the Piledriver.

The white noise in her ears was still incredibly loud, to the point where, after she kicked out, she wasn't sure whether she lost or won the match. In the corner of her eye, she noticed the ref showing 2 fingers to ringside. Did that mean she kicked out just in time?

Her answer would come a few moments later, as she felt a massive load literally being taken off of her chest as Triin stood up, grabbed the Shadow Lord's arm, rolled her on her stomach...

...and trapped her arm and head in a Crossface.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!", the masked wrestler shrieked in pain, loud enough to be heard by the front row of the audience, as the Baltic Knightess cranked her head backwards, causing an incredibly painful strain on her neck. Making things worse was that GASTER's neck was already in pain from being hit by a Piledriver not even a minute ago. If Triin chose Crossface to finish the Shadow Lord off, she couldn't have picked a better hold for the job.

The pain caused all of GASTER's senses to come back in full swing. Clara herself was fighting to hold off tears in her eyes, and her arm from tapping out. She saw the rope, just a few meters away from her current position. If she could just drag herself towards it, she could escape her rival's hold!

...what she didn't put into account was her tired state and Triin's size. The knightess was heavier than her, already making dragging herself to the ropes difficult. And it wasn't like everything that the Knightess did to the Shadow Lord disappeared in an instant. Quite the contrary, her back which Triin tortured earlier in the match with a Camel Clutch, and her leg which was trapped by Triin in a counter Figure 4 hold, all of the pain in her chest and stomach from strikes the Baltic Knightess executed on her foe, all of that came rushing back as GASTER attempted to pull towards the ropes, desperate to escape the hold no matter what it took...

Triin had been sure that the Piledriver would have granted her the victory. And up until a fraction of a second before that would have actually been realized, everyone else in the arena had thought that as well. But no. GASTER had kicked out at the last opportunity.

But Triin had the momentum here. She was in a good position now. Her masked foe had to be very vulnerable now, and she couldn't let that opportunity slip out of her hands now. Not now that she had fought so hard through all of the Shadow Lord's tormenting holds...

The Crossface was very easy to perform from their current position, and had the added benefits of targeting the same spots that the knightess had already previously worked on. And when she applied the hold, everyone could hear that fact. GASTER was obviously in so much pain, that Triin was sure a tap out was imminent.

But GASTER was resilient. She endured. She was doing her everything to reach the ropes...but luckily Triin's own weight seemed to be making GASTER's task an extremely difficult one. But the Shadow Lord was still trying. And honestly, Triin had the desire to let go, and try something different. Maybe something else would have been more effective.

But then, she remembered again the long, torturing holds that her masked foe had applied on her previously during the course of their match. Hell, if she had applied those holds for so long, so was Triin going to do. Let her get a taste of her own medicine.

"There's no escaping from this one, miss Shadow Lord!"

All GASTER could do was meekly moan in response to Triin's comment, the Knightess keeping up the hard torque on her neck the best she could. And Clara felt that. It was just a few more pulls with her free hand, the ropes were almost within reaching distance!

"...?! ...wha?! W-why can't I pull forward?!"

Right when one more pull from her was required, GASTER's strength gave out. No matter how much she pulled, neither she nor Triin moved from their position. The Shadow Lord desperately reached for the ropes, her breathing rate increasing in panic. Her arm was just under a meter away from the rope, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't reach it...

"N-no, no! It can't end like this!"

Desperately telling herself that in her head, her arms pulled at Triin's, trying to weaken the knightess's grip to somehow escape...but her strength wasn't decreasing. Quite the contrary, the knightess's grip got worse the more the Shadow Lord resisted.

With Clara's attempts to break the hold in ruins, and the pain in her neck getting worse and worse, she knew that there was only one way Triin was going to release the hold. As her desperation turned into a despair of defeat, she let out 2 quiet sobs, a pair of tears going down her cheeks before she rapidly tapped her palm on the mat:

"...ngggh...I...I surrender, Knightess!"

How long could Triin keep up the hold? She wasn't sure. How long had she kept it already? Couldn't really tell anymore either. But it was still the perfect revenge for the Shadow Lord's earlier holds on the knightess. And the little taunting? That was just trying to make it more effective. Triin was very much hoping to finally break GASTER's spirits once and for all.

For a moment, it seemed like the effect was negligible. But then, the Estonian noticed a marked decrease in her masked foe's efforts. Clearly, something had happened. The slow progress towards the ropes had stopped. That was making Triin even more impatient. Was this it? Was GASTER about to submit? Would this secure a win for her debut? The blonde's arms and legs started suddenly feeling a bit sore from impatience, and keeping the hold for so long.

But then, GASTER tapped. And to clarify, she submitted verbally as well. Thrills immediately shocked through the blonde's body. But still, the knightess glanced quickly over to the ref girl, making sure that she had caught the submission. Only when the Estonian was convinced that the ref was signalling her to let go, she released her masked foe and quickly jumped back up again despite the rough match.

Triin knew exactly what she had to do. Leaving catching rest for later, the Baltic Knightess proceeded straight to her corner, grabbing the sword hanging outside the ring at her corner. Then she returned to GASTER, placing her other foot and side of the sword on her defeated foe's body for her signature victory pose.

Hopefully she would soon be performing many more of those.

GASTER's torture was sadly not over after she tapped out. It took ref a second to give a signal to the timekeeper at ringside to show to him that the Shadow Lord, had indeed tapped out. Only after the bell officially rang, then, and only then, did the Baltic Knightess let her Shadow-y opponent go.

As the announcer let the winner's name be known to the entire crowd, GASTER couldn't move her body for several moments, tired and hurting all over to immediately get up to her feet. Her hands went to her sore neck, as the pain was disappearing...but very slowly. It was still at the point where the Shadow Lord let out a quiet meek moan due to the pain, as she felt the wave of disappointment over losing the match to the debuting knightess.

And to add insult to injury, Triin would retrieve her sword from ringside, climb into the ring, and place her sword and foot on the smaller girl's spine. Further humiliation came from a photographer, who made sure to catch the Baltic Knightess in such a position for a sports magazine...

But the girl below wouldn't just feel sadness and disappointment over losing. The Shadow Lord was angry over the humiliation shown by Triin in the match, and after it, and she swore revenge on the blonde, promising to herself that she would, one day, defeat her...
