Second Chances (for RadiantKarna)

Risako knew the drill: move swiftly, strike decisively, and ensure that your opponent doesn't have the chance to strike back. That was the plan at least: digging her booted heels into the mat, she sprang at Priscilla, raising an arm and hammering home into her opponent's chest...

...just as Priscilla's forearm clubbed into her. "UFGH!!" Risako gasped, the blow momentarily knocking the air from her lungs. Rocked back on her feet, Priscilla narrowly steadied herself, doubling over as she clutched her hurting chest and sucked in air. "Nnngh...lucky blow..." she rasped at Priscilla, though she couldn't hide that that was a good hit.

While she managed to land a hit right into Risako's chest with her forearm, she also took the clothesline, which managed to knock some air out of her lungs as well. "HNGHH!" She staggered back, almost losing her balance before quickly righting herself. Still, the hit stung quite a lot, and she brought her arms to her chest, doubling over. "Nnghh..." she looked at her opponent who was also winded up by her attack, and she couldn't help but give her a smirk.

"Hngh... k-keep telling yourself that..." Priscilla said, responding to Risako's comment, thinking that another taunt might be good to rile her opponent up. While Risako was still recovering from the hit to her chest, Priscilla decided to take this advantage despite her hurting chest. So, while still clutching on her aching chest with one hand, she would rush over to the former Wrestle Angel and try to ram her shoulder into Risako's midsection, hoping that could take some more air out of her lungs.

Okay, Priscilla was definitely better than Risako had anticipated. Either that, she thought, or she was getting rusty. That small, nagging voice in her head told her that it was the latter, that she wasn't half the person that she used to be, that she no longer deserved to be called the Queen of Queens--

She shook her head and tried to focus back on the match-- far too late. That momentary distraction was all that Priscilla needed to spring forward and drive an elbow into her midsection. "OOOF!" Risako gasped, doubling over as she was nailed by Priscilla's spear. THis time, the blow was enough to drive Risako to her knees, her already ragged breath shortening to a gasp as she was left severely winded by these two repeat blows.

Priscilla couldn't help but smile smugly when her attack managed to bring the great Panther Risako on her knees. It was a great honor to fight a woman such as her, and it would be a greater honor to defeat her in this ring. Standing in front of the kneeling Risako, Priscilla would bend down to yank Risako up, making sure to give her a condescending smile in her effort to taunt her even more before she attempted to whip her towards the nearest turnbuckle with an Irish whip.

Right after that, hoping that Risako would collide into the corner, Priscilla would rush over to her with her right arm extended out, planning to deliver a corner lariat on her. She was certain that the collision would surely take the fight out of the former Wrestle Angel champion even more, thus increasing her chance to win this match against Panther Risako.

Risako's face had reddened a little by this point as she gasped for air. Priscilla's hits thus far had been precise and clinical, aimed at leaving her stunned and gasping for air. No doubt she was enjoying this, she thought grimly, seeing her opponent gasping on her knees like this. True enough, Priscilla was smiling cruelly as she reached down and pulled her up.

Next thing she knew, Risako was whipped unceremoniously towards the corner. She managed to spin around, but still hit the corner back first. Wincing from the impact, she saw Priscilla rushing at her with a follow up lariat. Gritting her teeth, Risako did the only thing she could do: she kicked a leg up and let Priscilla's momentum to the rest.

Assuming her lìttle counter worked, then Risako, still smarting, would spring from her corner and hopefully nail Priscilla with a lariat of her own!

Because of her momentum while running towards Risako, Priscilla couldn't stop herself when she saw her foe raising up her leg. "GOUGFHH!!" The foot hit her right into her midsection when she ran into it, stopping her advance altogether. She tried her best to keep her balance as she stepped back while cradling her throbbing stomach, but it seemed that Risako wasn't planning to let her recover from her carelessness when she was nailed by the former Wrestle Angel with a lariat of her own!

"HRGHH!!" Not only that her lariat failed, Priscilla was also hit by Risako's own lariat, and the vicious attack managed to bring Priscilla down onto the mat. Groaning in pain, Priscilla clutched on her hurt stomach as she tried to roll over to her side, hoping that this could buy her enough time to recover before Risako could follow up with more attacks of her own. It's safe to say that things weren't too good for Priscilla at the moment.

Breathing hard after flooring her opponent like that, Risako took the opportunity to catch her breath, glaring down at her fallen opponent. Priscilla's kicks to the gut had done a lot to knock the air out of her, but it was still early in the match, and it would take a lot more than that to bring her down.

Without wasting a beat, Risako dropped down across her fallen foe and hooked one of her legs, wrapping her up for a pinfall. In an instant, the ref girl began the countdown. "ONE..."

While Priscilla was still on the mat, Risako went down and tried to pin her down. Her body was still in pain, but it wasn't enough to put her out of commission. She felt Risako's body on top of hers as she heard the referee counting for the pinfall attempt. Clearing her mind, she quickly focused on breaking out of the pinfall attempt, kicking out before the ref could finish counting.

"TWO!"

And right at two, Priscilla kicked out. She was still a bit winded from Risako's attacks, and she needed to recover for a moment before she could mount any sort of counterattack. She would try to get up, pushing Risako away in case if she was still on top of her. She tried to regain her wit and focus on recovering first, hoping that she could endure whatever the former Wrestle Angel had in store for her while she was trying to recover.

As the two of them went down and Risako went for the pinfall, she knew it was still early and that Priscilla would most likely kick out. True enough, Priscilla kicked out at the two count. Kneeling upright, Risako brushed her hair back and gave the crowd an annoyed look to signify her irritation. Truth to be told, though, the match was still early and she was already firmly in control. Maybe, just maybe, she had been wrong to doubt herself like that.

Grabbing Priscille by the head, Risako stood up, pulling the other girl upright with her. Shifting Priscilla into a sitting position, Risako turned and ran to the ropes, bouncing off to hopefully nail her foe with a drop kick. Her heart was racing: surely, at this rate, she would have the match in the bag in no time!

Priscilla was still trying to regain her bearing as she attempted to get up, but before she could fully recover, Risako went to grab her by her head and force her to be on a sitting position. And then, the former Wrestler Angel went to the ropes and rebounded from them before returning back to the sitting Priscilla. From there, she launched a dropkick at her.

Due to her own position, Priscilla couldn't exactly move away from Risako's attack, and all she could do was to raise both her arms and use them to shield herself from the dropkick. "Urgh!!" While she managed to prevent herself from being nailed by the dropkick, her arms took the damage instead, and the impact from the attack brought Priscilla down onto the mat again. Due to the stinging sensation on her arms after shielding herself from the dropkick with them, her arms were momentarily rendered useless, thus making it difficult for her to push herself up from the canvas.
