I would advise against changing her name since she's already established. Admittedly, I'm totally against stuff like that just in general, but I think you and several other people already know her by her real name...

Daaharu, while its true Forge has been around for awhile, she hasnt ever really done anything. This is kind of like a reboot, anyway!

I am with Dahaaru in this question. Even as I don´t care if someone names himself Galactic Space President Mcawesomeville in real life, renaming someone in wrestling has a bad taste to it. Just look how Michael McGillicuty, Husky Harris or A-Train/Prince Albert/Tensai/Lord Tensai/Albert were harrassed by wrestling fans for months when they were rebooted.

On the other hand, you could always make a story out of it with smarks booing your girl mercilessly for a rebranding.^^

Well, while a rebranding story sounds fun and possibly comical, I was thinking of a straight up retcon. I don't want to be part of a big cloud of Julia and Julies! I think we already have 4 active ones as is.

Why not make a second name out of Julia then? Like Sandra Julia Forge?
Or make an adoption storyline where Julia finds out that she is adopted and her biological mother wanted to name her differently.

A continuity break is kind of meh if you ask me, but it is of course still your choice.
