Re: Topic: Wrestling?
Not too surprised about the release of Enzo Amore. Bad press and a supposedly big ego does not mix well.
And regarding Ross and Lawler, both are rather old guys with a need for sleep and Vince was probably busy with being stunnered so he could not scream into their ears to keep them awake. Or maybe nobody cared about them being asleep because it was the perfect commentary for the show.

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
I would actually welcome HHH as new CEO of the WWE. He is a wrestler himself, young talent is probably looking up to him as an example of a guy who made it from portraying a british fop to the Cerebral Assassin with a Terminator Entrance at WM. His booking of NXT shows that he also knows how more hardcore wrestling fans want as show and he would probably mix some elements of NXT into the main shows, some sense and continuation in the main shows would be great. Of course he also would have favorites, but I guess it would be more hidden and not so obnoxious as with Reigns.

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
I'm sorry, but i just cant accept NXT as proof he would make a good ceo, when NXT is just your average indy show

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
Um...but NXT is better than anything that normal WWE does. In fact Indy shows have better booking than normal WWE

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
Maybe it would be appropriate to differentiate between the position of CEO in regard of leading the company against the position of the CEO to run the daily business which he usually delegates to subordinates.
I don´t know if HHH could lead the company WWE as good as Vince can, maybe he would bring in Shane for the business side who already has experience in actually leading a company.
But I am pretty sure that HHH would be a better head of the booking department than Vince could ever be. Nothing kills continuity better than a last minute change. Maybe an experienced(Kane, Chris Jericho, Zack Ryder, the Miz, Dolph Ziggler) or gifted actor can run with such nonsense without it severely hampering his or her performance, but most WWE performers are athletes first and actors second.
Although Vince wrestled, he is not a wrestler. HHH has the respect of his colleagues in that regard, and the young guys don´t need to fear that he will bury them anymore in long term storylines. I also think that he knows what he can ask from his performers and what he can´t ask from them. Maybe we would see the return of the piledriver in the hands of experienced performers. Bret Hart, Kane or the Undertaker must have pildedrivered hundreds of people and nobody cared because management knew that their opponents were in the care of a professional and experiences worker, I am sure HHH knows that better than Vince.
Then HHH is not as old as Vince and has kids himself, he will have knowledge of trends Vince would have never heard of.

HHH wouldn't bury people anymore?
lol.
He still does that crap. Look at the last Survivor's Series. Look at him winning the Rumble in twenty-fuckin'-sixteen.
NXT is good but HHH still finds ways to bring out the shovel.
