SS 17 Tag team title - Imperial Order (c) vs. Sonic Boom (ladder match)

Still not quite sure who to blame for her lamentable situation, Gwendolyn nevertheless remained absolutely convinced that it was everyone else's fault but her own for not reclaiming her championship title. The heiress still remembering how dishearteningly close she came to reigning victorious once more as she massaged her lower spine. Though for now she had more pressing matters...in regards to a towering Amazon behind her whose shadow was blotting out the roof-lights above her...

"Hrrgh..." Gwendolyn sucked her teeth in annoyance from feeling her resplendent golden curls brutishly mangled by the uncouth Amazon, her booted feet scrapping the canvas during her ascension until she was reacquainted with the disheartening view of the nearby audience from several feet in the air.

Entirely justified panic fueled Gwen's burgeoning resistance towards being manhandled like this, but their close proximity to the ring ropes meant that Gwen was just as swiftly chucked over the top ropes just as quickly as she was hoisted up!! The pompous aristocrat arching her curved spine with an agonized groan immediately upon crash-landing outside, immense pain and anguish written on her grimacing face as she began sheepishly shuffling to her hands and knees and started crawling towards the barricade at an exceptionally stilted pace...

After sending Akiha off into the steps, Julia paused for a moment. Partly to let herself catch her breath, and also to glance over Alaina's way so she could see how she was doing. Good thing she did, too, because she looked just in time to be able to enjoy the sight of Gwen getting slammed right over the top rope and down to the floor at ringside!

"Ooohh, that had to hurt," Julia commented, both wincing and smiling at the impact. She was hardly a sadist by any means, but the cowgirl couldn't deny it felt pretty good to see Gwen in such a state of pain and anguish. But then she noticed both their foes were now fairly close to each other, and a fun idea popped into the luchadora's head.

"Alaina!" Julia called out to her partner while sliding back into the ring. With a grin, she pointed toward the downed champions, expecting Alaina would see just what she had in mind.

"Make it nice 'n high!" she said, then ran off into the ropes on the opposite end of the ring. The ropes sent her rocketing straight back toward Alaina, who by then should be in position to initiate quite arguably Sonic Boom's most reckless and acrobatic double team move...

Alaina was worn out and tired, but seeing Julia slide in the ring coupled with the look on her face said it all. It was rejuvenating for the amazon. She also was on the same page as Julia and without Julia saying a word about what they were about to do, Alaina already knew. The champs were down and this was a great way to accentuate Sonic Boom taking advantage of the situation. Alaina slid in the ring and got in position. She didn't care how much her head throbbed or how badly her body hurt.

As Julia ran at Alaina, she braced herself and put everything she had into giving Julia as much height as possible for their high flying team attack! She knew Julia was doing all the hard work, and taking the big impact so she had to get Julia into the air with as much power as she could muster! Alaina watched as she tossed Julia into the air and the cowgirl seemed to move in slow motion. However, she couldn't afford to sit by idly and just take it in.

As soon as Julia went into the air Alaina would drop down and roll to the outside, ready to pick up the pieces of what was left of Imperial Order!

Akiha was now holding onto the steps, gasping for air as her chest felt like it was on fire. She needed a moment to rest in order to get back into things. She would then see her partner crash near her and make her way to the barricade. The crimson hair wrestler could hear some talk between Sonic Boom but at the moment could not make it out due to much pain she was in. She and Gwendolyn needed to do something in order to get back into the match.

She would then push off the steel steps and look around, she spotted the Amazon in the ring but couldn't find Julia anywhere. She would then look up and see the other member of sonic boom flying high. Akiha eyes would widen, one reason was that she was in shocked and fear, the other was she was filled with admiration that she secretly held for Julia. The Japanese wrestler would try to get out of the way but at this point, it was far too late.

Having her posh, delicate frame be on the receiving end of consecutive earth shattering slams from the brutish Amazon was an inelegant reminder of why she utterly loathed contending with Alaina. Someone of her refined sophistication was not exactly accustomed to the type of punishment Alaina was capable of so casually doling out, every muscle-headed slam or confounded powerbomb reverberating with that much more searing pain considering her general intolerance towards being so roughly womanhandled by the uncouth brute.

A sharp, wincing grimace on her visage illustrating better than words how agonizing her dramatic descent was as she massaged her lower back. The heiress leaning against the barricade to assist with her groggy shuffling back to her feet as she swatted away the hands of any fans tapping her on the back. Gwen glanced up and saw her partner on her feet as well, a glare in her eye as she began to steadily approach Akiha from the side.

"...*pant*...Can I not really on you for one iota of reliable-!!!" Gwendolyn would pause her attempt at scolding her partner with a raised eyebrow when she finally noticed Akiha staring vacantly into the ring. The realization dawning on her one second too late before both her and Akiha would be plowed over by the flying luchadora crashing down on them from above. The rattled heiress remaining flattened on her front side and in a grumbling daze beneath Julia...all to thunderous applause from the audience finally being given something to cheer for.

Nothing gav Julia a bigger rush than flying through the air like this. And with the extra height Alaina had given her, the luchadora was flying about as high as she ever had before. The crowd seemed to explode when she crashed down onto the champions. And though Julia's hurting torso didn't appreciate her recklessness one bit, the cowgirl couldn't help but smile in spite of her pain while she laid there on top of her foes for a brief moment.

Rolling off the pile of bodies and pulling herself up to her feet, grimacing in pain as she moved, the masked blonde hurled a fist into the air and shouted out at the top of her lungs, "LET'S GO!!!!!" The cheers and applause began anew. And, fully taking in the excitement of the moment, Julia went to high five the nearest handful of fans along the front row before getting back to the business at hand.

"Nice toss, Alaina!" she called out to her partner while giving her a thumbs up, then made her way over toward one of the ladders set up at ringside and grabbed a hold of it, wanting to fold it up and slide it into the ring. Sonic Boom had a big opening here, and Julia didn't want to waste it!

Alaina watched as Julia flew through the air, crashing against Imperial Order and sending them sprawling on the ground below. It was like a bowling ball smashing into the pins sending them flying. The amazon couldn't help but smile at the aftermath, knowing that as hurt as Julia may have been Imperial Order was undoubtedly hurting far more. "Damn, great work Julia that rocked!" Alaina grinned as she climbed through the ropes and hopped down to the floor below.

Alaina stomped over to Gwen, wanting to keep fighting her. Alaina pulled Gwen up by the hair and pulled her closer to the barricade. She wanted to utterly destroy this woman and take a belt from her without the rich heiress being able to make any claims of an unfair match. Planting her feet Alaina twisted her torso and did her best to whip Gwen as hard as she could into the barricade! If Gwen went flying over into the audience, terrific. If not, Alaina would follow and rush into Gwen as hard as she could, looking to tackle her over to leave the two to brawl it out right there in the crowd!

Gwendolyn made an internal note postpone her chastisement of Akiha's subpar performance for after the match. Though now the heiress was including "Failing to warn her of plummeting luchadora's" to her partner's laundry list of mistakes from the self-centered aristocrat still assigning the blame of their misfortune squarely atop her shoulders.

The belligerent cheers from the ignorant masses shouting their approval from seeing the snooty aristocrats get doubly bowled over all mattered little to Gwendolyn. The heiress shuffling to her side with a cringing frown once that blasted cowgirl was back on her own feet. What did concern Gwen, was the familiar shadow towering above her. The pompous blueblood unwillingly obeying the tugging strain on her scalp with snarling defiance before being unceremoniously flung straight ahead into the padded turnbuckle. Gwendolyn yelping out an undignified grunt from colliding with the wavering barricade before slumping against it, her relief from not being slung overhead into the crowd being regrettably short-lived...

"RAGH!!" Gwen's eyes widening from the rampaging Amazon seconds before getting clothes-lined overboard, her lithe legs springing straight up as she rolled backward. Somehow landing on her feet from the sheer brute force behind the tackle, the frazzled heiress began to stumble forward on wobbly legs and panicked grief on her face as the scattering fans made room for the action spilling out into the crowd.

Akiha was to focus on Julia to pay attention to Gwendolyn who was probably complaining about something. Before she could do anything she would be hit by the high-flying member of Sonic Boom and sent down to the ground. The Japanese wrestler would now groan, having been knocked down to the ground. How did things go so badly, just a few moments ago, they had the upper hand.

While down on the ground, she would watch Gwendolyn get her hair pulled and then being sent towards the barricade. Julia, on the other hand, seemed to ignore Akiha and grab a ladder before making her way back to the ring. Though her body was hurting, the Japanese crusader still wasn't out of the match. Ever since this Sonic Boom had come into the picture, Akiha had always felt ignored, like she wasn't part of this. She was going to make sure to make Sonic Boom regret it. Starting to push herself up and grabbing onto the apron of the ring, Akiha would get back on her feet.

When on her feet, her first instinct was to give chase to Julia and stop her from winning the belt but something else caught her eye. Right at the corner was her bottle, full of red mist. While Julia was busy in the ring, Akiha would grab the bottle and take a drink, keeping the liquids in her mouth. She would then slide under the ropes and into the ring, coming from behind her opponent. She would then try to grab her opponent shoulder and turn her around before then trying to spray her in the eyes with red mist.

Once Julia got the ladder into the ring she slid right in behind it and picked herself up. Right about then there was a loud collision at ringside, immediately followed by an even louder reaction from the fans who just saw Alaina tackle Gwen right over the barricade. Julia unfortunately didn't catch it in time to see what exactly had happened, but it sounded as if Alaina was in pretty good control of things on her end.

Thinking this meant she had a wide open shot in front of her, the cowgirl bent down and grabbed onto the ladder and started to pick it up, when she suddenly felt a hand on her shoulder. With Gwen and Alaina occupied, it was pretty clear who was behind her. Akiha was proving herself to be a tough gal, which to be fair, wasn't all too much of a surprise. She was one half of the tag champs, and had pinned Alaina not too long ago. Still, she'd recovered quicker than Julia expected. She turned just in time to see that Akiha looked like she was about to spit something right at her. Julia wasn't sure what it was, but instincts kicked in at the last possible second, and she let go of the ladder while dropping right down to the mat, while a spray of red mist flew right over her...and right into the face of the referee!

The blinded official flailed and stumbled about, trying in vain to wipe her eyes clean of the mist that burned in her eyes. "Oh, shit!" Julia yelled before hurrying to the ref's side to try to help her out without a second thought. There were no disqualifications in a match like this anyway, but Julia wouldn't have felt right if she didn't at least try to help the ref out. Besides, she'd need her to call for the bell once Sonic Boom eventually got to the top of the ladder and pulled those titles down!
