Re: Prayuth vs. Giulia La Rocca - Seeing Stars
Prayuth wasn’t good at a lot of things - reading, writing, math, history, none of them were his specialties. Even his acting wasn’t all that great, he could admit. But, if there was one thing he knew how to do, it was kick. They came out fast, hard, and precise, and he’d knocked out grown men with them before. Years of intense training had honed them into powerful weapons.
The crowd, however, didn’t seem to appreciate the rigorous work that had gone into his lower body. They just knew he was kicking a girl, and they didn’t seem to approve.
He tried his best to ignore them as he went to work, and his strikes were working. For the first time, it seemed like Giulia was the one on the defensive, as she managed to take those impressives legs out from under her. She was nimble, able to roll away from him and make her way to the ropes, but that wasn’t as good an idea as she probably thought it was. Giulia was giving Prayuth space, and he was a man who knew how to make that work to his advantage.
As she grabbed the ropes and pulled herself up, Prayuth hopped back, then charged forward at full speed, rapidly closing on the Italian wrecking ball. When he was close enough, he leaped up and came at her full force with his knee, aiming to plant it hard in the middle of her chest, throwing his weight behind the powerful blow.

Re: Prayuth vs. Giulia La Rocca - Seeing Stars
Giulia was well on her way in getting acquainted with Prayuth's legs. And based on what she had discovered so far, she didn't actually want to have anything to do with them. Somehow, she had been able to mostly avoid the nuisance caused by them so far, but her luck was now running out with it. And now that she had gotten her Thai foe weakened already, or at least she thought she had, it wasn't a good idea anymore to let him deliver a few strikes like she had done in the start of the match.
So, getting some distance was a good idea. From by the ropes, Giulia could plan her attack again and make sure that Prayuth didn't get to use his legs anymore.
Wrong. By the time Giulia was getting herself back up, Prayuth was already ready. And as she turned towards him, he was coming at her. Instincts were telling Giulia to drop back down and fall to the side - and that's somewhat what she tried to do. End result was that she did get a bit lower, and a bit to the side, but still, Prayuth's knee managed to hit the side of her jaw in the process. The Thai fighter might not have hit as solid of a target as he might have wanted, but the Italian was still shrieking out in pain.
Holding her face, Giulia rolled herself to the side and out of the ring. Walking by the ringside, she was making sure everyone could see that Prayuth had just kneed her in the face. And based on the uproar in the arena, she was making good job at it. And everyone would probably agree with her now - she had to get Prayuth to pay for that.

Re: Prayuth vs. Giulia La Rocca - Seeing Stars
”Oh, come on!” Prayuth threw up his hands in protest as Giulia reeled outside of the ring. ”Not this shit again!”
A moment ago, things had been going so well. Okay, they weren’t ideal - he was still aching all over from the damage Giulia had been doing to him, and it wasn’t going to be something the public remembered fondly - but it seemed like he was on the right track. Or, at least, the rightish track.
His knee had worked like a charm, hitting her smooth and crisp. Granted, it hadn’t been the intended target, but hitting a head was always better than the chest.
It was just a shame that the crowd disagreed.
”What are you doing?!”
”Come on, fight like a man!”
”Happy now, punk?”
Those and more colorful comments showered him as Giulia took a siesta, peppering him with bad press. He groaned, knowing how much it was bullshit, but also knowing he had to at least try to salvage it regardless. So with that in mind, he dropped down and followed her out of the ring, putting a hand on her shoulder from behind. ”Hey, just take a few seconds to walk it off.” Prayuth gave her a little tug. ”What, is it bleeding?”

Re: Prayuth vs. Giulia La Rocca - Seeing Stars
Being hit to the jaw like that was obviously something Giulia would have never wanted to happen. It was painful, miserable and there was a real danger of bleeding - something that luckily wasn't happening this time. She needed to get away for a second, and rolling out of the ring was an easy option.
It was also very effective in getting the crowds even more overwhelmingly on her side. The Tension crowd sure had seen a lot, men and women beating the hell out of each other was nothing new, but in this case the vast majority was ruling Prayuth's moves as unacceptable. So that was a good thing.
But honestly, as she was hearing all the commenting, there started to be an irritation growing inside her. First of all, rolling out of the ring wasn't an ideal solution when you wanted to portray yourself as a strong fighter instead of a weak coward. Second, she didn't like the basis of the crowd's attitude. Just because she was a girl, she should be given mercy in the ring? Just because she was a girl, it was obvious that her opponent would be stronger and she needed some extra support?
Thinking along those lines was exactly contrary to how Giulia wanted her skills and physique to be perceived. And it really started to irritate her.
Generally, Giulia appreciated some chivalry. Generally, good manners and being considerate towards others was only a good thing in her books. But the moment Prayuth laid his hand on her shoulder, trying to save his face, he could have probably done nothing that would have provoked the Italian more under the circumstances they were in. It was like suddenly everyone, even him was feeling sorry for her. That was outrageous. That had to be changed.
Very deep inside Giulia was probably feeling some guilt of what she'd try to do now. But still, Prayuth had just set himself too vulnerable not to take advantage of it. Instead of answering anything to him, the Italian tried to grab good hold of the hand on her shoulder, keep it there and bow herself forward to get her Thai foe leaning on her back, and throw him then over her towards a railing in front of them.

Re: Prayuth vs. Giulia La Rocca - Seeing Stars
Somehow, Prayuth knew he’d fucked up.
It wasn’t because of the crowd constantly saying it, either. He was beginning to care less and less on their opinion, what with the way they were making this match a constant pain for him. There were other ways to get popularity, and it would hardly be the first time people came to love someone who they’d originally ragged on.
No, the omen was coming from Giulia herself. She’d never been shy or anything as near as he could tell, more than willing to voice her opinion about things before and taunt him. Now she was tight lipped, quiet, and even though he was coming at her from behind, he had the distinct feeling hewas the one in trouble.
”What’s wrong with-”
Prayuth should’ve trusted his instincts. The moment he was close enough, he felt a powerful hand grab hold of his own. Before he could think about pulling away, it was all over in one ridiculous moment - she leaned forward, he went flying, gravity and moment did the rest.
The judo throw would’ve been bad enough in the ring. On the floor, it was three times worse. First his legs wound up hitting the barricade, instantly numbing them up. From there, it was all down, as he crashed shoulder-first on the floor with a nasty tumble. His body stayed there, too, upright and upside down, and he slumped off the barricade and flopped to the floor.
That was where Prayuth stayed for the moment, too, as he rolled about and groaned, reeling in more ways than one.

Re: Prayuth vs. Giulia La Rocca - Seeing Stars
It was a rare thing to happen, but Giulia had gotten angry now in this match. And the reason hadn't been any moves, attacks, tricks or twisted schemes of the opponent. No, the reason had actually been a momentary lack of them. A moment where she was being felt sorry for.
It was no wonder that Prayuth couldn't really expect that. Even the audience probably didn't - but that didn't really matter to Giulia. The Italian had now firmly decided that she wouldn't be playing nice at all in this match anymore. Not that she would have really done so even up to this point, but she was going to be extra harsh from now on. She was going to destroy Prayuth.
And honestly, slamming him to the barricade was a perfect start. The crowds exploded immediately, mostly cheering for the new turn of events. She could hear a few disagreeing though, but that was just a good thing. At least they wouldn't be feeling sorry for her anymore.
Looking at her Thai foe slumped in front of her, Giulia decided it was time to get him back to the ring. Bending forward to get hold of his wrists, the Italian started then dragging him on the floor towards the steps leading into the ring. She would be getting up on them, and Prayuth - well, he'd probably be hitting his head to them.
"Oh, what's wrong? Can't get back up anymore?" she would then query up from the steps in a decisively mocking tone.

Re: Prayuth vs. Giulia La Rocca - Seeing Stars
Knees to the face. A baseball bat to the back. Groin kicks, plenty of groin kicks, more than he wanted to think about. That time he did a stunt fall off that two-story building and cushion on the ground wasn’t nearly as soft as it was supposed to be.
Prayuth had taken some damage in his day. He was used to pain. But, somehow, the stuff Giulia was dishing out happened to be just that much worse. Maybe it was the insult that came along with it all the time. Yeah, that was it.
She wasn’t letting up anytime soon, either - in fact, Prayuth couldn’t shake the impression that she was suddenly getting more aggressive, if such a thing was even possible. There was some real force as she dragged him along like an unruly child, and he couldn’t muster the force to resist her just yet. Wherever she wanted him to go, he was going.
Up the stairs he went, and it was a real struggle to just keep from bashing his head on them - a struggle he failed at, when his head bonked against the middle step. He groaned as she continued to haul him along, both at the pain and her joke.
”Nah, I’m fine. Just need a minute.” He winced. ”Maybe two.”

Re: Prayuth vs. Giulia La Rocca - Seeing Stars
Giulia might have asked Prayuth a question, but its purpose had been more of a rhetorical one. Honestly, she hadn't been hoping for an answer. And especially not the kind that it turned out to be. So, he was "fine"? That was right about the perfect answer to keep the Italian very angry. Maybe he might had interpreted that as joking, but Giulia was very serious right now. Honestly, she would have wanted to just gag this guy to keep him quiet.
Well, maybe after the match.
Right now, Giulia had to make him shut up some other way. To slam the air out of him somehow. To make sure the crowds knew they shouldn't be feeling sorry for her. To re-establish her dominance that she seemed to already had been having at one point.
Reaching the turnbuckle, the Italian started pulling Prayuth up, trying to hoist him up all the way on the top rope. Hoping he'd stay hanging there on his belly for a moment, Giulia would meanwhile slide through the ropes back inside the ring, before attempting to take him into a three-quarter facelock and send him to the mat with a Snapmare driver!

Re: Prayuth vs. Giulia La Rocca - Seeing Stars
Prayuth was, indeed, joking, trying to lighten up the mood from whatever had gotten Giulia so riled up. The fact that she didn’t have something snippy and flirty to say back was more than a little troubling, to say the least, and a clear sign that he was nowhere being done with the suffering of this match.
That was when things got stranger - a weird thing to say in a match where he was getting torn apart by a Hobbit-sized girl with Lumberjack legs, but there it was. While Prayuth wasn’t that well-versed with wrestling moves, he felt confident in saying that there weren’t many of them that involved hanging your opponent on the top rope like yesterday’s dirty laundry. That was precisely where Giulia hung him, though. Just laying there. Waiting. Unmoving as she got into the ring and placed his head on her shoulder. ”Wait, what are you-”
He got his answer in the worst way possible as Giulia suddenly jerked forward and droved his skull into the mat, spiking it at terminal velocity. He hit like a lawn dart, and for a moment he did a handstand, perfectly erect at 90 degree, before gravity got the better of him and he fell to his back.
That was where he stayed for the moment, too, just rocking back and forth while he cradled his aching skull. ”สมองขี้เลื่อย” He muttered. ”Geez, what is with you?”

Re: Prayuth vs. Giulia La Rocca - Seeing Stars
So, according to Giulia, it was time to get Prayuth back into the ring for the final time. Each one of the two had taken their turns in snatching some brief respite outside the ropes during the match, but Giulia was determined to make this the last time. Making sure her Thai foe's return to the ring was as unpleasant as possible was required in order to achieve that goal.
Her way to do that might not have been exactly the most conventional one, but efficiency was of key importance in this case. And it turned out to be very easy as well. Getting Prayuth up on the top rope and then executing the Snapmare driver was almost like picking up a candy from a kid. Except that Prayuth was the candy, and the direction of the pick was down. It was apparent that her Thai foe had no clue on what had been going to happen.
And that was the problem, really. Prayuth didn't still seem to comprehend at all the situation he was in. He was still being utterly surprised when being subjected to moves by Giulia. Not prepared to take them at all. His comments were telling enough. Did he still think that this whole match was just a little game? That he was there just to star a show? That there wasn't really anything he would be required to struggle for? That Giulia would just be someone to have fun with? Or was he just that useless as a wrestler?
"HEY, bambino! Did you come here to cry like a baby, or did you come here to wrestle?!? Wake-up!" the Italian shouted down at Prayuth from his side in response to his latest complaints. But again, that question was meant to be more of a rhetorical one. To emphasize her point further, instead of waiting for a response, Giulia would try to punish the famous guy's chest by coming down with another double leg drop.
