Asuka Kazama vs Gemma Styx - double debut 2/3 falls match

Gemma had been quick to take control, but her tricky opponent had been even quicker to struggle back onto even footing. As exciting as this outcome may have been for the crowd who seemed to be getting into the bout it wasn't a good sign for the showy striker, so far she had only taken a few blows from Asuka and each one had exceeded her expectations on the pain scale. 

Asuka's words wouldn't do much other than inspire a grin from Gemma, she had considered adding in a wink but couldn't manage to do so as her wincing face was still reforming itself from a pained expression moments ago. The brawler's words unfortunately weren't all the American had to worry about though, as soon enough Asuka approached at a quick pace and with a different more effective strategy.

" Woa-urg!" Gemma would cry out, her back landing harshly against the mat. The striped wrestler was pretty good at anything relating to strikes, whether it be blocking, trading, receiving or giving. Unfortunately though the most experienced member of the show troupe hadn't ever been particularly good at countering sturdy opponents who charged in recklessly, resulting in Gemma being roughly tackled into the mat.

Asuka winced from the impatient of her own inelegant tackle but, coming out on top, she knew it must have hurt her noisy opponent much more. Taking advantage of her successful, the Osakan girl would get up, using her opponent's body to push herself up. Asuka would take her opponent's legs and cross them before rolling her over, stepping through the gap between the two legs, and pulling back for a sharpshooter submission hold.

Asuka would smile wide, her gritted teeth showing through as she bent the American girl's back. "Come on now! Sing for me!" she would yell over her shoulder as she maintained the submission hold. She decided her opponent's pained screams would be better than her insufferable babbling.

After being roughly tackled to the mat Gemma would be unable to shake her grogginess before her opponent was able to quickly get up to her feet, using the downed entertainers body as support to quickly gain leverage. By the time the former martial artists was coming back to her senses she would already be a few steps behind Asuka, quickly trying to sit up but not having the initiative to do so before the Osakan girl grasped and crossed the black haired wrestler's legs.

Just as Gemma started to try and sit up and grab her opponent Asuka would turn her over, meeting some struggle from the now aware show wrestler but ultimately being able to forcibly turn the downed wrestler over and lock on a sharp shooter.

Gemma after being turned over would break out into cries of pain, before giving her opponent a belated response and trying her best to hold back her pained chorus as she did so. " grr I don't perform for free! You want more then you're going to need to do worse than this!" The entertainer would yell back, although her response lacked the gruffness Gemma would have preferred and was embarrassingly high pitch as she forced the words over her cries of pain.

Gemma wouldn't bother waiting for a response before she clawed against the mat, her face cringing in pain as she sealed her mouth shut to try and deprive her opponent of the screams and cries she obviously desired. As much as the entertainer hated playing to her opponent's tune there wasn't much she could latch on to of Asuka's body, so instead Gemma was forced to drag herself clawing towards the ropes as quickly as she could, trying to pull her heavier opponent's weight with her.

Though gritting her teeth as she applied pressure to her opponent's legs, Asuka would smile when she heard the singers defiant words. Asuka felt like she had really misjudged this woman. Despite her her garish appearance and obvious love for attention, Gemma was clearly a fighter. "Aww, that's a real shame," The Osakan girl said, "Guess I'll have to step it up so I can hear that song!" Asuka lean back into the hold, Bending Gemma's back into an even sharper crescent shape.

Despite the added pressure, Gemma persevered through the pain, dragging herself closer and closer to the ropes as it was her only hope of breaking the hold. If Asuka couldn't get the singer to submit right here, she would at least make Gemma's arduous treck toward the edge of the ring as misribale as possible in an attempt to wear her down. Finally the referee would yell, "Rope Break" and Asuka would release her hold on the black haired girl.

The Osakan School Girl would step away from her opponent, wiping her brow. Maintaining the hold for that long had been almost as exhausting as being in the hold. Asuka waited for her opponent to pull her self up before assuming a stance and preparing for the next move.

Gemma wasn't under any illusions of the situation she was in, the sharpshooter was painful as all hell and there was no possible way she could seriously request for a brutal wrestler like Asuka to step it up a notch. However in the moment Gemma got carried away, said something she shouldn't have, and the reprocutions were made apparent as the smaller wrestler squirmed and clawed towards the ropes.

Asuka would add more pressure to the hold, leaning back even more to the point where it seemed like Gemma and Asuka were doing some kind of gymnastics display, just with the bottom participant clawing at her hair with one hand and screaming out in pain as her usually smiling face cringed and contorted in pain. Unfortunately Gemma couldn't fire back a witty retort, instead all she could do was desperately claw at the mat, dragging herself and Asuka across the ring before she was finally in arms grasp of the rope.

After finally crossing what felt like a desert Gemma finally arrived at the oasis, stretching her arm out and firmly grasping the ropes, squeezing it intensely as she was still trapped in the submission. luckily enough Asuka didn't waste any time breaking the hold though, releasing Gemma and then stepping away. However that didn't mean the show wrestler could take things easy, even before she turned around to observe her rough opponent she could feel that Asuka was already preparing another gruelling treat for the black haired wrestler.

Gemma using the ropes would slowly pull herself up onto her feet, somewhat stumbling before giving her legs a quick shake to try and get rid of the stinging sensation and grogginess. As soon as the eccentric one was onto her feet she would push off the rope and hop a few feet away from the ropes, ignoring the pain caused by her bounce and instead trying to force her pained legs to be ready to move when they needed to. After what just happened Gemma wasn't going to take the charge though, instead she would just eye up her opponent and her usual battle ready grin would return, completely forced but yet comforting for the showy wrestler as it helped her to calm her nerves and focus on the show ahead.

" You got me there, but you're dreaming if you think you could knock me off that easily. " Gemma would state, directing her challenging grin and statement both at Asuka as she tried to goad the Japanese woman into making the first move.

Though her legs buckeled, Asuka's opponent managed to stand up with the help of the ropes. The black haired woman even mustered enough energy to run her mouth and and taunt confidently. The school girl was honestly surprised by Gemma's tenacity, however, she wouldn't let her admiration for the woman keep her from winning.

Asuka waited a moment, catching her breath and wiping away the sweat that was beginning to form on her forehead. "You're gonna regret running your mouth so much, Obasan" Asuka would threaten with long mischievous smile. Since it seemed Gemma wouldn't be making the first move Asuka would charge forward. She had no qualms with being the first to attack.

"Kyaaaa!!! she would yell as she raised her arm. She planned to hit the singer singer with a violent forearm bash, hopefully with enough force to knock the talkative woman clean out of the ring.

Gemma had spent a long time in wrestling rings, and spent more time than the usual competitor using her environment for all sorts of stunts and manuevers. After-all, she had perhaps devoted too much time to using the tools around her in order to make things less predictable. To the showy wrestler the ropes were more useful than her own body could be at times, and as Asuka approached the former martial artist would smirk as she quickly glanced back at the ropes to coordinate herself for one of her typical stunts.

Once Asuka was about to get within reaching distance of Gemma the entertainer would have already purposefully pin herself against the ropes, setting her back up against them as Asuka charged forward towards her. Before Asuka's forearm bash could reach Gemma though she would put all her weight backwards into the top ropes, pressing her shoulders into them and latching onto them with her arms, in the process lifting her feet upwards from the mat in a quick movement.

Gemma would be leaning backwards enough that she would almost be bent backwards over the top ropes, and would use this new to find herself some new footing, the former martial artist trying to push her now floating feet into Asuka's chest with a mighty push. Through this Gemma had managed to give herself more reach for her attack than Asuka, although of course if she had managed to push against her opponent's chest with her feet then the self made entertainer would end up aiding her momentum against the ropes and send herself over the top rope.

However this was a trick Gemma had pulled out many times, as her shoulders pushed against the ropes she would also grasp along the upper top rope with outstretched arms, keeping a tight grip as she pushed off Asuka and in the process flipped over the ropes behind her, managing to land both feet on the outside ring apron in an impressive display of gymnastics and athletics. Of course it would take a moment for Gemma to fully gain her balance on the outside ring apron though, shimmying to gain more secure footing on the apron and quickly relocating Asuka within the ring.

Within a few moments Gemma would be ready to launch her own attack though, quickly re-positioning her hands on the ropes with a firm grasp before then leaping upwards and landing with her feet atop the ropes, using them to propel herself back towards Asuka. The rapidly incoming entertainer would then mirror Asuka's earlier movement with her upper body, just she would twist her body to the side as she pulled her arm back before then attempting to shoot her forearm into the opponent's skill. Gemma trying to land a springboard forearm smash on the opponent.

As she closer Asuka would see her opponent smirk. "I'm gonna wipe that smile off your face!" she'd growl as she continued forward with a wide grin of her own and violent intent. But just as she got within reach of her seemingly trapped prey, the dark haired entertainer would have yet another trick up her sleeve. Leaning back she would kick off of Asuka's large chest, causing the Osakan School Girl to curse and stumble back holding her breasts.

Through one open eye Asuka watched as Gemma used the momentum of the kick to flip herself over the ropes, landing on the ring apron. The back alley brawler would raise her arms and prepare into a defensive posture but it was too late. The quick entertainer would come flying off the rope and slam her forearm into Asuka's chest.

"Geh-heh!" Asuka would exclaim as the impact send a shock through her body and managed to unbalance her, sending the sturdy built girl to the mat with a loud thud that shook the ring. "Tch!" the School Girl spat through gritted teeth as she held her battered chest.

Gemma as she soared through the air loved the excited buzz of the crowd, it seemed the two conflicting styles which both utilised strikes was already getting a reaction from the fans. The eccentric wrestler's satisfaction would only grow as she felt her forearm collide with Asuka, before the soaring entertainer would falls to the mat, managing to somewhat catch herself with her hands.

However things didn't go quite as well as planned, as Asuka had been sent onto her rear from the blow rather than being laid out like Gemma would have liked. Taking this fact into account Gemma would quickly push off the mat and try to get back into a standing position, knowing that Asuka could quickly brush off the pain and do so before her if she wasn't quick enough, unfortunately Gemma would have to continue exhausting her stamina to do so, immediately getting back into things after what was for her a somewhat tiring exchange.

Gemma would spring to her feet fairly quickly, but even with her above average speed she knew she wouldn't have the opening to attack Asuka, and she couldn't risk taking a gamble by charging Asuka when she could be able to counter. After all Asuka had proved herself to be a dangerous opponent earlier, and against such a powerful striker who out weighed her Gemma knew it was important not to get beat down on too much towards the start of the match

With this in mind Gemma would just bounce on the spot, moving a foot or so backwards as she quickly locked her eyes on Asuka again, while trying to get herself ready for a charge if Asuka got up before her, or at the same time.

In one swift motion, Asuka fell back from her seated position and sprung to her feet. "I hope you didn't think that would be enough to keep me down!" She said. The Osakan school girl striker would raise her hand in front of her in a martial arts stance. Her hands were open ready for incoming attack. it seemed her opponent was being cautious as well, Gemma had distanced herself from Asuka and had also taken up a defensive stance. Asuka felt like the match was becoming more serious. She smiled, it was good to know that her opponent at least recognized her strength.

Asuka wouldn't allow herself to be goaded into attacking recklessly again. The Osakan girl watched Gemma closely as she began moving inching ever closer toward her opponent. If her opponent didn't attack first, the School Girl would scoot herself within legs length of her opponent before lifting her sturdy leg off the mat and with a quick turn, attempt to drive her foot into Gemma's body with a powerful round house kick.
