An Unwelcome Interjection

After suffering a controversial loss at the hands of Navi Florges, Katherine had accosted the rookie in the locker room seeking the opportunity to get a rematch and pay Navi back for crediting herself and accepting a BS win that ensued from a massive oversight on the referee's part. As one would guess, that opportunity wasn't given to her. At least not straightaway. After leaving the Friction locker room and pacing around angrily backstage for several moments, the blonde was approached by an interviewer.

"E-excuse me. Katherine Hart?"

"What is it, ma'am?" She said in a terse, flustered tone, showing clear signs of holding back frustration. Much different form her usual self.

"The AFW staff understands your attitude, given tonight's events. Would you be so kind as to join us for an in-ring interview. We'll discuss the match you had with Navi Florges and further clear the air on the terms on which it ended."

The purple clad wrestler acknowledged the interviewer by merely nodding and pausing for a moment before making her leave. After a short break, the Interviewer would make her presence known in the ring and beckon the cat themed wrestler to join her.

"Ladies and Gentlemen. Please welcome my guest at this time: Katherine Hart!"

Kat's theme song would blare and she'd emerge at the top of the ramp, not as cheery as her usual self, but not quite as disappointed or upset as she was before. The woman would calmly make her way to the ring and enter it by rolling under the bottom rope before grabbing a microphone and standing next to the Interviewer. After the crowd settled down and finished reacting to Katherine's appearance, they'd clamor as the interview began.

"Miss Hart, I'll get right to the point. I think everyone who witnessed your previous match is on the same page and universally agree that you weren't even cheated out of a victory, you were punished for the mistakes of an incompetent referee. The world wants to know, how exactly to you plan on getting even with Navi?"

The masked wrestler would face the microphone to her face and open her mouth....only to be interrupted by the sound of an electric guitar followed by the words "Behold the King...the King of Kings..." Katherine would frown immediately. She was interrupted by someone she hadn't even met before.

"Who could this joker possibly be?!" She said over the mic as the theme song continued to play.

Katherine Hart. The veteran wrestler who had been a very accomplished star in many independent promotions in Mexico, the states, and Europe. Now she was trying to make it to the big leagues, the biggest league "The AFW" in Japan. Kat was a former champ as well in her many ventures before arriving to the AFW. She was on a good streak as well, going 4-0 in her first matches. There were some rumours that perhaps if she kept a run like this, a title opportunity would be on the way- but those were simply rumours. Daisuke had been keeping a close eye on this wrestler. From what he saw of her, she was a wrestling machine! Pretty soon, he had thought to end her winning streak by booking a match against her but nothing made him happier than to see her first loss, giving to her by a rookie in a controversial win.

However, when she was given the opportunity to voice her dissent, that agitated the prince and he decided to make his way to the ring- to approach Kat. As she was about to reply to the interviewer, the prince's theme echoed around the arena and he made his way towards the ring. He was in his traditional wrestling gear, wearing grey CK wrestling briefs with polished black leather wrestling boots and a black glittery robe over his chiselled frame. He had a wide grin on his face as he made his way to the ring, with a mic in his hand. He shook his head as he got near ringside, before stepping up the steel steps and entering the ring.

The prince straight away approached Katherine, standing face to face with the masked wrestler. "So the famous Katherine Hart was handed her first loss to her....and we make a big deal out of it. So what? A loss is a loss...take it like a woman and move on. You may have been a champion or whatever in the small leagues but this is the AFW, nobody cares how you lost...its the fact that YOU did lose. It's a good thing too.....if Navi hadn't ended your streak, I would have made sure that I would personally end your win streak and unmask that silly little mask of yours" he said,glaring right at Kat.

Katherine tried to get a good look at the man who so unceremoniously invited himself out here during her interview. She figured that maybe he actually had something worthwhile to say. After all, AFW was a rather unorthodox place. Maybe they had some of their administrative officials come to work half naked. Or so she tried to make herself believe before Daisuke chose to open his mouth. After entering the ring, the guy told her off while making direct eye contact. Kat frowned at Daisuke through nearly every word he spoke. She took a second to inhale deeply before making her reply.

After collecting her wits and convincing herself internally that assaulting this man out of the blue wasn't quite yet warranted (key word being "yet"), she raised her microphone to her face and replied. "So, uh, is security gonna escort this underwear model out of here or is this like the old days where we take things into our own hands?" Kat asked the general question to everyone before the interviewer began to explain.

"Actually, this man is a member of the Tension male roster. Daisuke-"
Katherine raised a hand to the woman to cut her off. "Listen, I don't know who you are or where you get off trying to cut in on my interview like this. And more important, at this point in time, I really don't care." The audience began to rally behind Kat and the tone of indignation she was beginning to take with the so called, Wrestling Prince.

The masked wrestler made sure to close the distance between herself and this man to really get in his face and accentuate her next point. "So let me tell you how this is gonna play out. You're gonna do one of two things. You're either going to 1) take your dollar store underwear, your undeserved sense of self-importance, and the horse your rode in on, and you'll leave this very ring that you weren't invited to in the first place. Orrrrr 2) you come to the painful realization that you came here at a very bad time. The realization that you can't just go around overstepping your boundaries without consequences. The realization that compared to a lot of the wrestlers and champions from those so called, smaller leagues, you just don't measure up....Sir, it's very obvious just from your ring attire, alone. You've got far more talent for streaking than you have talent for breaking ANY streak!

The prince didn't know what he was getting himself into. He thought he'd go in have a little laugh at Kat, taunt her around and embarrass her infront of the AFW crowd and then take his leave, it would have been a job well done for the prince. However, what he didnt know is that Katherine was not going to let him crash his interview just like that, apparently this kitty has claws and she wasn't going to be afraid or use them- verbally or physically.

As the prince made his way to the ring and began to rant at Katherine, who wasn't looking impressed at all at Daisuke's antics, he thought his little speech would be enough to get under the skin of the masked wrestler and enough to make her leave the ring. The prince couldn't have been more wrong as Kat was very quick to have some of her own choice words towards Daisuke.

Her initial words stung him but not more than what came next, as she stepped forwards towards him- he did the same as the two came very close to each other, face to face in a classic wrestlers staredown. He chuckled after Kat's speech, adding to it "Overstepping my boundaries without consequence eh? Listen, I don't know if you have had that mask on a little too tight or whatever but the prince of wrestling has no boundaries. The last time a masked wrestler tried to get frisky with me, I made her submit and took her mask off- I embarrassed with. I hope you don't want me to do the same with you..."

The audience seemed to receive this verbal showdown quite well. Even past all the cheers that the purple clad wrestler was getting, and the boos Daisuke was drawing from the crowd with his words, cheering and intensity could be felt and heard as things continued to escalate between these two. Everyone could feel that it was going to culminate into something. And what that something was would be made clear in the next few moments.

Kat's frown would advance to being a full-on glare when Daisuke came face to face and allege that he could do to her what he had done to a previous masked female wrestler. She gave him a puzzled, flustered look before snapping at him.

"Alright, big man! If you're so full of yourself! If you're this, wrestling prince, that you say you are: try that crap with me...! Right! Now! You and me in a submission match! Get a ref out here! Let's go!" Clearly fed up with the man's intrusion, Katherine made her demands clear. She was ready to throw down and ready to blow off some steam by manifesting her indignation in the form of putting Mister Takeuchi through the wringer!

The tension was thick between the two. It was strange, none of them had met the other before tonight and because of some slight disagreements, the two wrestlers were now breathing down each other's neck, face to face. The two of them exchanged words again, Daisuke not the type to let an insult slide and Kat, not the one to beat an insult.

With the two face to face and further pushing up against each other, words would not be enough to settle this between the two. However, the wrestling prince was rather caught off guard by the sudden challenge- he didn't expect it to be right here.....right now. With that, however, he couldn't say no- she was clever, she threw the ball in his court and waited for him to give a response.

Gritting his teeth he looked to the crowd left and then the right, the back to the Kat.

"W-what? You....you want to wrestle the prince? One on one.....Argh, the nerve of you! FINE......you and me, one on one...submission match. I WILL make you submit Kat and this time, you wont have any excuse"
