Zarya the Iron Soldier vs Linda Halloween

Zarya was in no condition to go for the immediate pin, thanks to those shots to the head. Linda's struggle had brought her some breathing space, brief though it was. The Iron Soldier started to recover, pushing away from the turnbuckle and crossing the distance between herself and the fallen American. 

The russian dropped to her knees at Linda's side before laying across her body and hooking Linda's left leg for extra leverage. The ref came down to point the pinfall. 

"Stay. Down. " Zarya warned. 

One!

Linda was down on the canvas as she did not realize that her punches had effected Zarya that much as she did not notice at first that the Russian did not go for the cover straight away. Still when the Iron soldier pushed her away from the turnbuckle before dropping down to her knees and laying across of the former navy seal's body did the American regain her sense of time.

Zarya's threat and the referee counted to one happened around the same time as Linda would reply back ''In..your ...dreams'' between deep breaths as she just noticed the ref's hand was raised into the air for a second time. About a second or two later the referee would yell ''two as she touched the canvas with her hand as the blond tried to kick out and hopefully push Zarya off her if it was possible.

Zarya was sure the American would stay down this time, but once again she'd underestimated her opponents resolve. As the refs hand came down not only did Linda kick out, but she managed to shove the Russian off of her entirely. Zarya rolled off and onto her side, beating the canvas with her fist and a growl of frustration. She got to her feet, mopping sweat from her forehead with the back of her hand. 

"You don't have much left. You're done."

Zarya walked back to the corner and waited for Linda to get to her feet. When Linda stood, Zarya would rush out of the corner in a run, right arm extending, aiming to take the American down with a clothesline as she had earlier in the match!

Linda was relieved she had manage to kick out still she knew that if she did not do something quick to turn the match around she would still lose regardless. So after hearing the Iron soldier telling her that she did not have much left she could not deny it as she just made it back to her knees as she waited for a moment to catch her breath before standing up.

Still the navy seal was able to turn around and see her opponent rush towards her and duck under the incoming Iron soldier's clothesline. Hoping that Zarya would bounce off the ropes and try again the former navy seal would try to focus as she hoped to knock the iron soldier down if it when according to what she was hoping for with a big boot.

The ring itself shook with the Iron Soldiers charge. The look in her eyes said it all, she was done playing with Linda and wanted to end this match. Of course, the American refused to cooperate, kicking out twice in a row and fighting every second of the way. Zarya intended to take the fight out of her rival, and taking Linda's head off with a running clothesline would do the trick. The Russian's words before were a taunt, but there was truth behind them and they both knew it.

So certain was she that Zarya was surprised when her sweeping arm connected with nothing but air! She kept moving, turning to bounce off the ropes and barrel towards her intended victim once again, building even more speed, more momentum...

So much speed and momentum that there was no way to avoid the big boot Linda had waiting for her. The impact cracked against the Russians head and sent her down to the mat hard, landing flat on her back. Zarya groaned, eyes closed in a grimace of pain and knocked completely for a loop, barely aware of what was happening around her.

The blond was glad she was able to duck under the incoming Russian and would smirk when Zarya would do exactly like Linda had predicted. Since after the Iron Soldier had missed she would bounce off the ropes and barrel towards her just as the former navy seal brought her right leg into the air as she when for a big boot.

Still going for the big boot was risky as Zarya could easily have avoided her attack but lucky for the blond this would not be the cause. As the Iron soldier ran headfirst into her boot and while Linda would almost fall backwards because of the impact but the American would just stumble backwards until she touched the ropes with her back.

As she touched the ropes with her back the former navy seal would run towards the Russian while she was on her back as she would leap into the air as she hoped to bring her leg down on the Iron Soldier's throat with a running legdrop.

"Uhn...." Zarya groaned, coming to the slow realization that she'd practically knocked herself out. Her head was throbbing and she was still entirely too dizzy to even think about climbing to her feet. Damn that American, getting lucky again... She pressed her hands flush against the canvas, about to push herself to a sitting position, when she realized the ring was vibrating.

She knew that sensation, it was the tell-tale sign of someone running the ropes. Zarya realized that Linda was on the attack, but a second too late as the former Navy Seal came down across her throat with a running leg drop.

"Ack!" The russian gagged and choked, eyes wide as her muscular legs kicked wildly against the mat, spasming like a fish out of water. A full on leg-drop wasn't the most pleasant thing to experience. It felt as if her throat had been crushed and she couldn't breathe. The sensation would pass quickly, but for the moment she was vulnerable.

Linda would run towards the ropes after knocking Zarya on her back as she did not want to waste time taunting the Russian as she was gaining momentum for the running legdrop. So as the blond leaped into the air and came crashing down on the Iron Soldier's throat as she heard Zarya gag and saw her opponent's legs kicked wildly against the mat as a reaction.

While at first it was funny seeing the Russian spasming like a fish out of water she knew that she had to go and attempt a cover. So after lifting her leg off Zarya's throat the former navy seal would grasp the Iron Soldier's legs and raise them in the air as she lay on top of her opponent as she looked at the referee to start counting. The ref girl would first make sure to check if the Russian's shoulders were pressed against the canvas before getting down on her knees and raise her hand in the air to start the count.

Zarya had suffered attacks to her throat before and always found them to be distinctly unpleasant, momentarily gagging and feeling as if she were choking on a golf-ball. Worse, she had no time to recover before Linda transitioned into a pin, raising the Russian's powerful legs off the mat and leveraging her shoulders down to the mat. The ref girl dropped to her knees, only two happy to begin the count after all of the heelish antics earlier in the match.

One!

Instinctively, the Russian knew she had to react, adrenaline rising as she began to struggle in Linda's grip!
Just as the ref brought her hand down for the second count, Zarya tried to bring her legs down and arch her body off the mat to break the pin!

Linda was hoping that after landing on the Russian's throat with her leg before going for the pin as the ref girl got down to her knees. Soon after the referee had raised her hand into the air before she would bring her hand down onto the canvas while she counted to one and was about to raise her hand for the second time.

So just as the ref girl had gotten her hand into the air and brought it down onto the canvas for a second time did the blond feel her opponent start to struggle. ''Just stay down Zarya''whispered Linda as she would hear the ref girl yell out ''two'' as the Iron Soldier would try to bring down both of her legs so he could arch her body of the canvas. While the former navy seal would attempt to keep the Russians legs into the air in the end she would be unable to do so as Zarya got her shoulders off the mat as she arch her body.
