Alaina Sanders vs Melody Serperior

"ONE----NO!", the ref shouted, as Alaina kicked out.

Melody knew the Amazon would kick out, but she thought it wouldn't hurt to check for how long a series of attacks like that would hold Alaina down. She got her answer, not very long.

"Of course not", she would answer as she got back to her feet. As she stood up to try another attack, Alaina rushed at her. This time, it was Melody's head being hit by Alaina's forearm as she hit her with a lariat. Melody would go down with a groan from the attack, with Alaina taking control of the match.

Alaina let out a shout as Melody went down, bending over and grabbing her up by the hair. Alaina moved to grab her by the waist with one hand, then wrapped her arm around Melody's head! The amazon grunted as she lift Melody up for a vertical suplex, stalling her at the top to showcase her strength before trying to bring Melody crashing down to complete the delayed vertical suplex!

"OW, OWW! "Damnit, why is it always the hair?!", Melody thought. With Melody still dazed from the lariat, the powerhouse that was Alaina Sanders easily lifted her into the air for a set up of a vertical suplex.

Staying in the position for a while, Melody tried to get her arm around Alaina's neck for a DDT, to try and punish the Amazon's showcase of strength. Sadly, she couldn't do it in time as Alaina brought the green-haired girl down on her spine:

"AAAAAAAAGGGG", Melody screamed, arching her back in pain from the impact.

Alaina heard the impact, and Melody's scream. She got to her feet and grabbed Melody by the arm, yanking her up to her feet as well. Alaina planted her feet and twisted her torso, attempting to whip Melody over to the ropes at the other end of the ring!

Alaina would follow behind charging straight at Melody and lowering her shoulder. If everything went according to plan Alaina would bulldoze Melody to the mat with a hard shoulder block.

Alaina certainly wasn't going easy on Melody. With her back still in pain from the suplex, Alaina got her back to her feet before whipping the green-hair into the ropes.

Rebounding from them, she saw Alaina getting ready to spike her stomach with a shoulder block. Trying to react quickly, Melody would jump into the air when she was roughly a meter away from the Amazon, and would attempt to get her arm around her head, before dropping on her hurting back with a Running DDT!

Melody was gritty, ring smart and always in the fight. Alaina would have loved it had ahe not been facing her in this match. Her shoulder block attwmpt was used against her entirely. Her momentum played right into the running DDT Melody delivered with thunderous impact!

The amazon cried out in pain as she was again laying on her back, her arms wrapped around her head as the DDT hit home! Alaina was down again, Melody controlling the match from the start with only a couple solid moves managed by Alaina.

Melody was actually keeping up with one of the top stars of Friction! And despite her back stinging, she was currently in control of the match! Now her mission was to keep it that way for the rest of it...

Raising the former champion by her hair (as a little payback for earlier), she would put her head under the champion's arm, before trying to lift her up for a Northern Lights Suplex. She would keep the bridge for the move, in order for ref to try and register another count for the pinfall.

Alaina was in a daze as she was yanked up, groaning as she was vertical once more. She didn't stay that way for long!

Alaina shouted as she went up and was flattened hard against the mat!

"ONE!"

Alaina screamed as she thrust a shoulder up as the referee's hand made its way back up. She was in dire straits, but right now she was in shock only able to to weakly roll over, slowly getting up.

Once again, The Amazon kicked out before ref could raise her hand for a second count, Melody promptly rolling away from the bridge.

"...definitely wasn't an Entropy champ for no reason...", she thought: "Time to step it up a little"

Melody would grab at Alaina's wrist before attempting to send the Amazon into a corner. With the Amazon hopefully facing her, and with everything (hopefully) remaining under her control, Melody would run straghit at the former Entropy champion, her knee posed directly for the place right for her stomach.

Alaina grit her teeth as she was grabbed and whipped over into the corner. The impact made her wince but that was the least of her problems. Melody came in right behind her and rsmmed her knee into Alaina's abdomen! Alaina groaned and wheezed with a pained grimace etched on her face.

The amazon was literally on the ropes, appearing more like a hapless rookie than the rookie she was facing!
