A Christmas Feast (Finished)

Sophia laughed a little bit when the hostess stammered her name, only to explain that she, more often than not, went by the nickname 'Silver.' She had to admit, she liked the name 'Lara' better, but hey, if she wanted to go by her nickname, who was she to judge? It was cute, anyway.

"It's a pleasure to meet you," Sophia replied, taking another sip of her wine. Looking around now, it seemed like there was quite a few people arriving. She guessed a lot of people wouldn't want to pass up the chance to get a nice meal, and socialize with people who would otherwise be their enemy in the ring. It made everyone she worked with seem a little bit more... human? it was easy to think of all of these girls as enemies, but when brought together like this, if she ever wrestled any of them, she could at least feel connected to them somehow.

As Silver wandered off, Sophia decided to wander herself, taking in the different girls around her. They all seemed like nice people, juging from some of the conversation pieces she had overheard. The small Russian girl seemed pretty interesting as well. She seemed so young, but clearly, she wasn't. She wouldn't be here otherwise. It was amazing, how different everyone here was. The diversity of the roster made the Brazilian smile. This really was an amazing experience.

A loud bang from the center of the room pulled her from her thoughts. There, she saw a large, wrapped box, almost as big as her upper half. Whoever brought that must really like Silver to have gotten her something so large.

When Silver beckoned everyone to gather round, Sophia didn't object. Smile on her face, and wine in hand, she made her way to the center of the room.

"If it's a TV, I'll wrestle you for it," Sophia joked, giving the silver haired girl a wink.

Sheena was quick to hear the call and moved over to see the gift. Wondering if she should have brought one as well she was still eager to see what was inside. "Well by all means keep us in suspense." she said as a joke while Kyoko stopped what she was doing and moved over to go see the gift as well standing right beside her cousin.

Eka was here? Well, that made the whole party worthwhile. The Georgian came rushing towards her, and Feruza did the same (as well as she could in those heels. They weren't too high, but they still have her problems!). They met in the middle, and embraced warmly. "Ohh, Eka, is so nice to see you!" she squealed, kicking one of her legs up as they hugged, before pulling away.

"You look great!" Feruza remarked, beaming. "Do I look good?" she asked, striking a little pose before hugging her quickly, pulling away once more, and laughing. "Oh, forgive me. I was just... too excited!" She was really excited to have a friend right there right away, obviously. Oh, while meeting her on the mountain was very nice, they could do so much more here!

She was eagerly awaiting Eka's reply when Silver called all of her guests over, to see her open a colossal gift. "Wowoweewa..." she whispered under her breath, before turning back to Eka. "Maybe we should go and see gift, first?"

"Yes, it is so nice to see you too, Feruza." She looked into Feruza's eyes as she spoke, still not completely convinced that this dolled up woman was Feruza. The last time she saw her, it was on Mount Fuji. Here, Eka was not wearing roughly a hundred layers of clothing and Feruza was wearing make up. Her blue eyes opened and closed in rapid succession, and it turned out Feruza was still there, and still looking bomb.

She laughed a little bit as the Uzbek girl posed. It was really entertaining to see her show off like that. "No, you look amazing. To be honest, I did not expect you, to, uh..." She gestured towards Feruza. The smart girl's words were beginning to fail her. "Well, anyways, you look fantastic. But you are right. We should go look at the gift, yes?"

Manager was about to hand Kyoko her drink when she moved towards the group of people making their way towards the gift unwrapping. Shrugging, Manager took the drink and drunk it before noticing Abigail sitting with Anastasia, patting the Russian's head. Smirking, Manager allowed Abigail to spend more time with her friend and moved over, behind all of the taller women. Manager sighed as he would move around everyone to see what was the gift that Lara was so eager to open with everyone.

Julia was just about ready to open the present for Silver herself if the big girl waited any longer. "Come on, we're all waiting." She said with a giggle. The gymnast was having a hard time waiting, wanting to see the present in use already. She managed to wait somewhat patiently though as everyone gathered around.

Julia noticed Abigail's manager out of the corner of her eye. He stood out since he was the only man in the room. She would slightly nudge Silver and whisper to her. "Hey I thought this was a party for friction wrestlers, is he crashing your party?" She asked in a hushed tone. She was unsure if he was a guest or not so she figured it wouldn't be polite to really start anything. Regardless, the green haired woman would focus her attention back to the box, hoping Silver really liked her gift.

Silver had barely grasped hands on the oversized gift, preparing herself to tear the wrapping apart like an excited child opening their first present. As she grasped hold of either sides of the paper, a offer for competition by Sophia should the present be a television led to Silver bringing her eyes up. Smiling at Sophia for a moment, she'd extend tongue as she continued to giggle at the girl. With the entire collection of party-goers around them, Silver finally cut the tension that had built as she tore the paper asunder. When enough was removed, it became apparent that said gift was in a simple box, one that Silver would uncover with a excited smile now stretched ear to ear.

Peering inside, Silver's eyes would widen as she now bared witness to the gift in all it's glory.

"Oh...my...god..." She'd mutter with stoked breath, as the surrounding congregation was further teased as to what was inside. Finally, she'd bring her hands into the box itself, removing it for all to see.

"It's huge!" She'd yelp, context now given as the buxom host held a chocolate cake so large she needed both hands to carry it!

Knocking the now empty gift box to the side with her elbows, Silver would almost extend a tongue like a pet anticipating treat as she put cake to table. "Eka...Sophia..." Silver would raise hand, somewhat pointing to the general direction of the girls opposite end of the table whilst mentioning what names she knew to suggest anyone in said area could help.

"Could you pass those dishes and knives behind ya? I know we haven't eaten yet but...A little taste couldn't hurt..." With cheeky smile equipped, she'd turn to Julia most likely ready to envelop the girl in a over-bearing hug, before a nudge and a whisper came to her first.

"Oh...erm...I guess you're right Julia..." Silver pondered, a little unnerved by the thought of asking someone to leave given she had literally opened the doors to everyone and anyone. Then again, she was just expecting Friction superstars. Slowly, she'd shuffle out of the circle that had enveloped as the guests tended to the cake, before nervously stepping up to the one male in the room.

"Hi...erm...Manager?" Silver would speak with uneasiness, a slight smile on her face yet still however given what was occuring. "Are you...staying much longer? I was sorta hoping it'd be...Friction girls..."

Manager would look at Lara with a smile. "I was actually leaving now but not before I give you this," Manager said as he walked up and gave Lara her present, a teddy bear, "Kind of hard to get a gift for someone she's never met so she decided to make you this. A present from Abigail Snow." Manager would then motion Lara to kneel down so he could whisper, "Listen, Abigail doesn't really have good social skills. She wanted me here to make her feel more comfortable but I'll leave. I'm sorry if I made things...uncomfortable. But really, I have to thank you for hosting a social event like this. But please keep an eye out for her as the hostess, will you?" Once Manager received his answer, he will wave goodbye to Abigail and Kyoko and exit the mess hall. He would stop after the door closed and just leaned against the wall of the hallway.

"Hope she does okay."

Sophia smiled back at Silver, who stuck her tongue out at her after her joke. She watched her as she tore open the paper, admittedly, fascinating about a match with the girl. She was adorable, and incredibly sweet. This probably wasn't the time or place to be having thoughts like that, but she couldn't help it. She'd have to run the idea by her at some point in the night.

When the paper was finally torn free, and Silver pulled out the cake, Sophia's eyes lit up. Chocolate! As if good wine and delicious looking food wasn't enough, now they had a huge cake! Just looking at it made her mouth water, and Silver clearly felt the same way. When the hostess motioned to her and Eka to get some plates, Sophia didn't waste a single second. She went right to the table, grabbing a handful and passing them out.

She was going to give one to Silver before she wandered off, speaking with the only man in the room. She recognized him, but she never spoke to him. With a shrug, she set a plate down by the cake for Silver and Julia. She figured it was only fair that the hostess and the one who brought such a wonderful gift got the first pieces.

Completely missing the kind act of the Brazilian beauty as she was forced to somewhat turn away, Silver was instead left somewhat confused by the gift presented to her by a girl she had yet to even converse with.

"Oh! Well that's...sweet! Thank you!" Silver would mutter, before assuming the form of a nodding dog as she quickly agreed to each and everything the man said before departing.

Now left with a homemade teddy bear, Silver would place it ever so carefully to the side table given she did not have the means to carry it, before finding her way back to the congregation. Sliding her curvy figure back into the circle, she'd place hands to Sophia's shoulders as she found her new friend continuing in her place. Offering a big cheesy smile to the Brazilian beauty, Silver would soon bring hands to a knife and plate, before her eyes scrolled along the small mass, grin still equipped.

"Whose first?"
