While both cousins were clearly in the progressively giving into the efforts of their opponents, nodding off towards la-la land for the first time in the match, their senses were all still functioning, especially that of hearing. As Haruka and Yumi bantered with each other, agreeing to what sounded like a friendly bet at first, the cousin's each heard the punishment Haruka added after they agreed. They couldn't exactly perk their heads up, but both women's eyes opened enough for them to lock.

Beatrice and Lillian had grown up together, and while neither had any siblings, they grew to have a bond that was very much a substitute for one.
