Julia Hiroshi vs Misaki Toyoda

Match type: Submission
Victory Condition: Standard rules, but the match can only end when the winner makes the loser submit.


Julia was excited for another match. She was eager to have this one go better than her debut. After a bit of training, she was confident that she had the skills to win, or at the very least keep things competitive. The gymnast would wait backstage until she heard her music start to play. She came out in her purple top and blue pants, waving to the crowd as she was welcomed by the tune of "Welcome to the Circus". She slowly made her way to the ring, enjoying the cheers of the crowd. Julia made sure to go to the side and give a few of the fans a high five while she approached the ring. Finally the blue haired wrestler got to the ring and crawled under the bottom ropes. She turned and waved one more time to the crowd before making her way to the appropriate corner.

Once in the ring she would begin stretching as she waited for her opponent. She bent down to touch her toes, giving the audience a nice view of her rear in the mean time. She didn't mind the wait too much as she always enjoyed the opportunity to have a good stretch before a match. She wasn't kept waiting very long though as her music was suddenly replaced by another song.

Misaki Toyoda was in the Friction arena once more, this time not for a gimmick appearance or a training session with the younger Friction wrestlers or even for her own personal visits. Tonight, she was going to compete in a one on one wrestling match up with another competitor Julia Horishi. The Berserk Ace didn't know her personally or knew much about her but this was the reason why she signed up as a part time wrestler in the AFW- to meet and wrestle opponents from all types of background and skill level.

The Berserk Ace was in her locker room, calm and composed as usual as she took a nice warm shower- stepping out of the shower area with her hair wet and naked body dripping down water droplets on the locker room floor. She took a moment to quickly dry herself off, knowing there was still time before Julia would make her way first. Once she dried herself off it was time to put on her on her special Berserk pink wrestling attire.

Attire:

"Right then, let's do this Misaki"she said putting on her finger-less gloves and fist pumping the air a bit. She got up from the wooden bench and looked herself in the mirror one last time, adjusting her hair and outfit before heading out just in time. Once her opponents theme died down, Misaki was behind the curtains that lead to the arena taking deep breaths to calm her nerves.

As her theme hit, she burst out of the curtains and made her way out to the arena, being greeted by cheers all round. She waved and smiled innocently as she made her way towards the ring, while on the ramp she greeted a few fans giving them high fives as she picked up speed and slid from under the bottom ropes and got back up on her feet.

The Ace quickly made her way up on the top turnbuckle and acknowledged the crowd before stepping back down and turning towards her opponent. Giving her a smile and nod she called out to her "Hey! Let's have a great match and give these people something to cheer about" she would say, walking up to the middle of the ring.

Misaki's energy was contagious. "Haha yeah that's the plan! Good luck!" Julia would yell back at her opponent. She would walk to the middle of the ring and offer Misaki a quick hand shake before going back to the corner. She also wanted to put on a good show for the fans. She was hoping today to be on the winning side this time. The gymnast would bounce slightly on her feet as she waited for the bell to ring, signifying the start of the match.

As the bell rang, Julia would swiftly make her way back to the center of the ring, waiting for her foe to meet her there. Not being the strongest wrestler around, Julia didn't want to test her strength against the other girl. She would instead wait for her to come in close enough and then throw a kick aimed at her opponent's side. She hoped a quick kick would catch the other wrestler off guard and give her the chance to move in for something more.

The Berserk Ace simply smiled and waved back, glad that her opponent and her were on the same page here. Once the pleasantries were out of the way, it was time for action. Misaki stood firm in the middle of the ring, once Julia approached her the two shook hands briefly before both wrestlers walked back to their respective corners. The Ace leaned back into her corner, stretching her legs and limbering up as she rolled her shoulders and stretched her neck, once the warmups were finished it was time for the match to begin.

*DING*DING*DING*

The bell rang and both wrestlers went for the middle, Misaki had her hands out infront of her eager to lock up with her opponent but it seemed that Julia wasn't interested in a test of strength. Still, Misaki was the type of wrestler to start things off on the offensive and when her opponent didn't make a move- she went in for the lock up only to be struck at her waist by a swift kick which stopped her dead in her tracks. "Oowww....N-not bad" she grunted.

The match started and Julia had drawn first blood with a kick to her opponent's waist. She smiled slightly as she saw Misaki stop right in her tracks. She didn't know what the other wrestler had in store but she was glad to have stopped it before it started. Not wanting to give her foe time to recover, Julia would immediately try to follow up and try to string some sort of combo together.

"Thanks. Have another!" The gymnast replied as she threw another kick with her other leg. She was trying to play it safe for the time being, trying to stay out of her opponent's grasp until she thought she could move in. After the second kick Julia would try to dart behind her opponent, trying to wrap her arms around the other wrestler's neck if possible. The blue haired girl wanted to be able to choke Misaki from a relatively safe position behind her.

Misaki misjudged her opponent, Julia didn't seem much shorter or less muscular than Misaki therefore the Ace thought she wouldn't mind testing her strength against Julia. However, the gymnast had other plans as she launched a kick straight at Misaki's side to make her double over infront of her, her arms wrapped around her midsection to further protect herself from any follow up as she took a step back.

One more kick to her stunned the Ace allowing her opponent to dart behind the brunette as she wrapped her arms around Misaki's neck to lock in a sleeperhold. "Mnnghh *cough*"she struggled while wriggling against Julia, looking to create some space between them from the side whereby she would try to send an elbow back into her opponents side to try and wind her out and loosen up the sleeper.

"There we go, now take it easy and just doze off huh?" Julia teased as she continued to squeeze her arms tighter around the other girl's neck. The sleeper hold was a staple for Julia as she preferred to lull her opponent to sleep much more than go face to face with them trading blows. She was interrupted by a shot to her side though. "Ugh!" She coughed and was forced to loosen her hold. She thought she had a solid plan but it seems her opponent thought otherwise. The gymnast would let go of Misaki and take a few steps back, not wanting to take another elbow.

"That really hurt." She pouted, holding her side. She decided to wait for her opponent to make another move, figuring countering would be a better strategy than just running back in.

"Mngghh oww, not quite yet" Misaki replied back as she struggled against her opponent, trying to figure out a way to escape the sleeperhold before finally deciding to send an elbow back against her opponent's side which seemed to do the trick. Julia released Misaki and staggered back allowing Misaki to take a few steps forward and spin around to face Julia.

"This might hurt even more"she said as the Ace ran forward, looking to dash towards Julia and leaped up in the air, looking to smack her boots against her opponents chest as she tried to execute a running dropkick

Julia reluctantly let go of her opponent and would watch her come charging back at her."Gah! owwwah!" Julia yelled as she took the drop kick head on and fell back to the mat, her chest bouncing from the impact. The gymnast would cross her arms over her chest as she tried to comfort herself. "That really stings..." She complained from the ground.

Julia stayed on the ground for a few seconds before rolling onto her stomach. From there she would push up and get herself back in the game, wanting to get another hit in on her opponent before they could follow up with anything.

Misaki Toyoda was a wrestling veteran and while she did quite well in her Berserk wrestling league, she found opponents close to her own skill level here in the AFW. After managing to break free from the submission hold, she came up with her own counter move by running to the ropes and coming back, landing in a high drop kick to take Julia down on her back.

"Hai~ Yeah it's supposed to! Come on, let's keep it going" she said as she quickly moved forward to grab her opponent by the arm as she looked to whip Julia across the ring towards one corner of the turnbuckle.
