Emily Nelson vs. Peggy McIntyrePeggy

Emily must not have thought much of Peggy. The young woman was surprised at Emily going for another pin so soon, and even though she was hurting, her anger was able to trump any pain she felt!

"TWO!"

Right at two Peggy thrust up as forcefully as she could to break the pin! "Get the hell offa me!" She shouted as she freed herself. Emily was a big woman, and very strong. However, Peggy wasn't about to put up with anything from the vet. She got up to her feet, fists up. Emily was not one to take hits lightly, so Peggy rushed in looking to land a couple fast, hard punches to her abdomen before trying to rock Emily's jaw with as hard of a straight right punch as she could muster!

Emily felt Peggy kick up underneath her, breaking the pin again. With an annoyed exhalation of breath, Emily knelt upright, grabbing a hold of the Irish girl's head as she did so to "help" her up as well.

"I hear ye're Velvet McIntyre's niece or summat," she said as she pulled Peggy up. "I would have thought that someone related to a famous lass like her, though, would show a bit of class in the ring--"

She was cut short as Peggy rammed a fist into her abdomen. "OOOF!" She had thought that Peggy would still be nicely stunned at this point: instead, Emily found herself open to a quick succession of punches that drilled hard into her midsection. Releasing Peggy, Emily doubled over, barely able to breath as she clutched her hurting midsection. This left her defenceless, though, against the sock to her jaw that snapped her head to the side, sending her splaying out onto her front, groaning.

Peggy scowled as Emily brought up her aunt. She said nothingmore, bending down to pull Emily up by the arm. Peggy grunted as she hrabbed Emily around the shoulder and between her legs. Peggy lift her up as high as she could befofe shouting and slamming Emily down the he mat!

Peggy jumped up after, trying to land on top of Emily with a standing splash pin! Peggy wanted to see how quickly Emily would kick out of one of her aunts favorite combo's....

Emily had gotten overconfident. This realization came to her as she lay on her front, groaning from a jaw that throbbed after a mean right hook from Peggy. She had been so taken up with punishing the girl for her sassy attitude, that she had forgotten that she was still a wrestler who had been in a few matches. By this point, she wasn't going to be making too many rookie mistakes, and wasn't going to be stunned so easily by a few slams here and there.

Peggy didn't leave her for long. Feeling her arm grabbed, Emily was dragged up to her feet, and before she could even say anything, she was scooped up off the mat and slammed back down in the space of a few seconds! A wordless gasp of pain escaped Emily's lips, and her slender body arched off the mat...before Peggy crashed down on top of her, driving the air from her lungs and hooking a leg for the pin.

Groaning, Emily reacted on instinct, twisting a shoulder up the moment the count reached one. She was still in the fight, but there was no question now that Peggy had taken a decisive lead...

Peggy felt Emily quickly kick out and she scowled as she looked over at the referee. "Yer one tough broad..... " Peggy muttered as she got up and pulled Emily up. It was time for Peggy to use some of her deceptive speed. She whipped Emily over to the opposite ropes, hoping to send the taller woman running!

As soon as Peggy let go of Emily, she bolted for the opposite ropes building up her own momentum! As the two ran at each other, Peggy would leap up and try to wrap her legs around Emily's head in an effort to deliver a running hurricanrana to the veteran!

Emily was still panting for breath as Peggy rolled off of her. After that last barrage of strikes and blows, she was far too winded to respond to Peggy's comment. Even as she tried to catch her breath, however, she found herself quickly yanked to her feet by Peggy. A split second later, Emily was running across the ring as Peggy, quite fittingly, Irish whipped her across the ring.

Bouncing off the ropes, Emily tried to get her head back in the came, bringing her arms up to block a potential clothesline. Except Peggy wasn't going for a clothesline: the other girl leapt up, wrapping her legs around Emily's head, and the Scotwsoman only had time to gasp before she was flipped hard onto her back. One of her legs shot up from the impact, before flopping to the mat as Emily lay on her back, eyes closed as pain flooded her back.

Peggy was rolling and wanted to keep her momentum going. She got up and ran over towards the ropes jumping up onto the middle rope and jumping back, spinning around and extending her legs.

Peggy soared through the air, hoping that Emily would stay down long enough to get crushed underneath Peggy's springboard leg drop! She knew her aunt would have loved this one, and Emily would hate it provided she was still there when Peggy landed!

Emily, meanwhile, was too hurt to move as she lay on her back, trying and failing to muster the Willpower to roll and get up to her feet. Peggy had been easy to predict and counter before, but now it was like an on switch had been flipped, and suddenly the girl's speed was even greater than before.

Opening one eye, Emily saw what was coming and finally initiated a roll too late. Peggy's leg slammed across her chest, causing Emily to Jeri upright for a brief secondhand then collapse onto her side, breathing hard...

Peggy stuck the landing and had a grin on her face. Again, she went for a pin. She had a feeling Emily would kick out, but if she kicked out at one again Peggy would be very surprised... and have even more work ahead of her to emerge victorious!

Part of her liked the gruff, old school style Emily brought to the table but Peggy also sort of resented the fact that Emily thought so little of Peggy. At least, she seemed to think that given a few of the pep talks on ring lessons she gave Peggy during the match. "Lets see how quick ya kick out o' this situation my dear..."

"One!"

For her part, Emily was both hurting and stunned after Peggy's whirlwind attack. The ring veteran had underestimated the new girl and her ferocity, and was now paying for it as Peggy covered her for the pin. The crowd watched in stunned silence as Emily lay still under Peggy, hardly u testing as she was wrapped up for the pin fall.

"TWO..."

At that moment, Emily finally twisted a shoulder and kicked out. Rolling onto the side and breathing hard, the Scots woman knew at this point that she had to focus on winning, not merely on teaching Peggy a lesson.
