Jessica Wright vs. Grizzly Yamamoto

Styx had been keeping her distance on the outside of the ring, minding the periphery while Jessica handled her business inside the ring. There was no real need to get directly involved for most of it - Grizzly would good, much better than you’d expect a living fossil to be, but it was nothing her parter/friend/fuckbuddy couldn’t handle.

Things got interesting, however, when Grizzly got dumped outside the ring. An interesting opportunity was presenting itself, and while it wasn’t the least bit nescessary for Styx to do something, well...old habits.

So, while Jessica had the referee busy, Styx moved in to ‘help’ Grizzly up to her feet, pulling her up roughly by an arm - only to jerk her forward into a waiting short-arm clothesline, clubbing her right in the face.

That was how WAR rolled.

Grizzly was in NO way used to this. Sure, it wasn't the first time somebody had matched or even beaten her strength, but those had been world class women. Bomber Kishima, Dark Star Chaos, Garm Takahashi, girls all her size, if not bigger.

But to fight a woman smaller and slimmer than her, and have her not only match, but overpower her? It was unthinkable.

Still. She could do this, she could pull this off, she just needed to...figure out where she was, having bounced off the ring apron and fallen to the floor, her back aching along with the rest of her, and get back in the ring. In a fair fight, she could take Jessica, despite the age difference.

But as it turned out, Jessica wasn't interested in playing fair, and neither was Styx, Grizzly barely having time to notice she was being pulled up to her feet, before she had Styx's tree limb of an arm smashing into her face, dropping her onto the floor clutching her face, the crowd booing loudly, even throwing trash at River Styx, the referee not seeing the blatant cheating!

And down Grizzly went. ”Nothing personal, Grandma.” Styx smiled and backed away to a safe distance, as the audience showed their appreciation by chucking their overpriced food and beverages her way. None of which bothered her, of course, since she’d spent the bulk of the last five years of her life living in whatever hole she could find to crawl into. But getting all their hate was a welcome little treat

”Keep it coming, keep it coming.” She flipped them all off as she made her way back to her previous position, resetting as if nothing had happened. As far as the referee would be concerned, nothing did.

Jessica looked over her shoulder. River had done the damage she had needed to do, and the Violent Violet felt awfully lucky to have a brawler like River in her corner. She would be more than happy return the favor at a later date, of course, and pay River back for the gift she had been given. But for right now she was going to focus on winning the match.

She stepped to the side so that the ref could view Grizzly unobstructed. "Would you believe that? I can't believe how long she has been out of the ring!" She spread her arms wide to do her best to look flabbergasted. Jessica wasn't much of an actress. But it didn't matter, she had done exactly what she needed to do.

Taking the initiative, Jessica walked over to the corner and leaned against it. "Hey, old lady. The ref girl says you need to get back in the ring,"she admonished, "so why don't you get back in here? We wouldn't want to fight a dirty match, now, would we?"

Oh this bitch...How Dare...
While Jessica happily played innocent to what was going on outside of the ring, Grizzly was trying to shake the stars out of her vision, after the powerful impact of Styxs clothesline.

With Jessica out of the way, the referee moved to the ropes, keeping an eye on Grizzly and starting the ring out count, while her fans urged her to.get back to her feet.

With a grunt of effort, the dazed bear hauled her aching body up, holding onto the apron for support, finally managing to roll back into the ring by the count of 8!

"That's more like it." Jessica's attention swung back to Grizzly, and she got her game face back on in a second. Her opponent was wounded and cornered, but not quite out of it yet. The Violent Violet was going to do everything in her power to change that, and she quickly moved towards the older woman.

Jessica bent down and attempted to bring Grizzly up to her feet. She aimed a quick punch to her stomach to bend the woman over, before she turned and grabbed her head. If she pulled that off, then she would launch forward for a quick running bulldog.

Grizzly was only just starting to get up to her feet, when Jessica came over and "helped" her the rest of the way up, the big woman, at the time, still too dazed and not yet recovered enough to stop her.

She found herself trapped in a headlock, trying to struggle out of it, when Jessica launched herself, Grizzly smacking face first onto the mat, laying flat and groaning as the crowd booed, some starting to chant for the big bear to get back up and keep fighting!

Jessica stood up and loomed over her opponent. The older woman was a sweaty mess, and Jessica wanted to mess her up a lot more. To be honest with herself, Jessica was feeling a bit of fatigue too. But that wasn't anything the surge of adrenaline and a rush of pride could not take care of. She clapped over Grizzly's head, mocking everyone in the crowd. "Come on, Grizzly, they want you to get up! They want you to get back in this match! You're not going to let them down, are you?" Jessica taunted.

Jessica took it upon herself to help Grizzly to her feet. She grabbed Grizzly's chin and gave her a quick headbutt. It was a quick, designed to be the appetizer for the main course that was about to come. Before launching into motion, she took a quick breath in to steady herself. She had done this move a thousand times, but never on someone this big.

She attempted to bow Grizzly's head, and grab her waist. From there, she would lift the former Wrestle Angel straight into the air for a delayed vertical suplex, her Fujita Five!

As if there wasn't enough of a throbbing pain in her head, the follow up head butt, while not overly painful, given her thick skull, still didn't help her headache.

Even worse, Jessica had a point. This match had turned completely against her, and her fans were being let down thus far. She had to figure out how to turn things around, by playing to her strengths. Her power, her experience and knowledge, and in this particular case, her size.

In a surprise move, Jessica was actually trying to lift her up, and in a bigger surprise, she was actually managing to lift her!

The crowd gasped in shock as she was lifted off her feet for a brief second as Jessica set her up and adjusted her for the big lift. Preparing herself as Jessica actually managed to lift her up almost all the way up for a suplex, the bigger woman kicked her legs, trying to shift her weight downwards.

Thanks to her weight, and some luck, she managed to land back on her feet, before ducking low and hooking a leg around Jessica's leg, trying to pull the girl onto her shoulders, so she could quickly stand up and fall back, smashing the girl down with a surprise Samoan Drop!

Steady now, she thought. This is just like lifting a weight in the gym, and you have done that countless times before. Just like when she was in the gym, she tempered herself. Breathe in on the way up, breathe out on the way down. Dead simple, and Jessica could do it. The climb was a steady one, and a smile spread across Jessica's face. She could do this, and then hit her finisher, then she could put this match to bed.

Only that wasn't what happened. There was a disturbance. The fallen angel kicked her legs out and threw Jessica off balance. Jessica stumbled for a bit, and gritted her teeth when Grizzly's feet blessed the canvas once more. It was no matter. Jessica could just go for it again. Except, she couldn't. Before Jessica could react to it, Grizzly had hooked her leg and it was Jessica who was going over the top.

When she was brutally slammed down, she had no immediate reaction. The Violent Violet could honestly not believe the quick turnaround, and it took her a second to register what had just happened. The severity of the situation hit her, and she arched her back with pain and closed her eyes. Grizzly was strong and Samoan drops were no joke, meaning that that the Violent Violet would be stuck on the mat for the time being.
