Dave Blake vs Reira Kirishima: Fools Rush In

The modified Camel Clutch was a good move, one Reira enjoyed forcing people into, hearing them scream and cry in pain. Back in her days as head of security, whenever she had to force down some unruly fan who made some mad rush at a wrestler, desperate to try and get an autograph, Reira had deeply enjoyed taking them down and making them scream in this hold.

"Cmon you bastard! Tap out! Just tap the fuck out already!"

She screamed, pulling back tighter on the mans neck, even as he impressively fought by reaching towards the ropes and grabbing them. Once he had the ropes, the ref girl started to count her out.

"1...2...3...4..."

Right at 4, Reira let go, breaking the hold before a count of 5 could disqualify her!

"N-no!!!" Dave groaned, grabbing onto the ropes and forcing the break. The sheer amount of pressure being put on his spine was beyond measure. WHen he went to the hospital after Casimir's attack, the doctors said he was lucky his back wasn't broken by the impact.

Released from the camel clutch, Dave collapsed over the bottom rope, with the crowds cheering oddly distant in his ears. Climbing up and using the ropes to support himself, he leaned against them, looking at his opponent while sweat poured down his heaving chest. Raising his hands he gestured for her to come and get him, further showing his defiance to stay down. Biding her time until she came over, Dave would try to catch her off guard with a kick to the gut. Shoving her head under his arm, Dave hooked up her own arms at the elbows, before falling back into a double underhook DDT, appropriately called the Mind Eraser.

Forced to release the hold or be disqualified, Reira had to let Dave go, getting to her feet and wiping sweat off of her face before turning towards the referee, cursing her out.

"How DARE you threaten to disqualify me! You know who I am? I could break you like a twig, you little fuck!"

Good and pissed, Reira didn't notice Dave getting up against the ropes and making a slow recovery, and took no precautions when she finally stopped yelling at the referee and turned towards him, getting a boot in the midsection for her trouble, before being dropped headfirst onto the mat!

Groaning, Reira rolled around on the mat, the former Tension World Champion holding her throbbing head, trying to make the black spots dancing in her vision go away!

Dave rolled onto his back after hitting her with the Mind Eraser, laying out the former world champion flat on the canvas. The crowd was in an uproar, demanding Dave to get back up and cover Reira. Groaning through the pain in his sore body, the young man rolled over, crawling a few more feet until he dropped on top of his opponent, shoulders down for the pin. The ref, shaken out of her stupor, dropped and slammed the mat.

"ONE! TWO!..." the crowd chanted, their excitement barely contained from th action in the squared circle.

Whether it was the sheer surprise and shock of the sudden drop, or the impact of her head hitting the mat near the apron, the hardest part of the mat, but the sudden double arm DDT knocked Reira for a bigger loop than she expected, black spots exploding in her vision as she rolled onto her back, groaning.

One way or another, the woman barely felt her leg being hooked, and didn't realize she was being pinned until she heard the count of "TWO!"

"FUCK!"

She thought, kicking her legs out as hard as she could and breaking the pin...

"THREE!"

...just a second too late, the referee slapping the mat and counting the third pinfall just an instant before Reira broke the pin!

The woman sat up, an expression of shock on her face, as the bell rang, the referee raising Dave's arm in victory!

The crowd exploded, and Dave could hardly believe what had just happened, with the ref dragging him to his feet and raising his arm in victory. He just beat a former World Champion........HE had just PINNED a former WORLD CHAMPION!

"Here is your winner, DAVID BLAKE!!!" the announcer called out, with Dave raising a fist into the air, cradling his injured ribs with his free hand. The fight took a lot out of him, but he had done it....he won. IN an instant, he had sent a clear message to the entire Tension locker room: Dave Blake was hunting for the gold.

Dave Blake was about to die.

Reira was not having a good day. She had been mocked, booed, had a headache, and now had been pinned by some lucky little punk!?

"You...SON OF A BITCH!"

Reira was pissed.

Rolling out of the ring, she went over the time keepers area, grabbing him and throwing him aside, before grabbing the chair he was sitting on. With a throbbing in her head and a fire in her eyes, the growling redhead went back towards the ring, fully intending to smash Dave Blake with the chair until he would have to be stretchered out!

Seeing Reira looking at him with killing intent, Dave had a choice to make. Stand and fight, or run and save his energy for the next time. He hated the idea of running like a coward, but it seemed the audience was pleading for him to run right now. Even as security and the ref went to restrain the former champion, he knew she'd be delayed only momentarily.

Looking at the audience, he rolled out of the ring, going as fast as his injured body would allow him to move. Reaching the top of the ramp, he turned to take in the scene of screaming fans, and in a last symbol of solidarity, raised a fist into the air, much to the crowd's delight, while his theme blared through the speakers.

Reira had just gotten in the ring, when Dave, smarter than he seemed, ran off, security and officials running in the ring in this place to restrain the furious woman, some of her own former security staff keeping her in the ring so she didn't give chase.

"Yeah, Enjoy it fucker! I'll get you for this!"

She screamed, swearing revenge on Dave, as the up and comer celebrated his win with the fans.
