I just cleaned and drained my pool last friday

I work in a restaurant. It's okay up front, but the whole place I'm stuck at now is shitty, and the AC doesn't really work, so the kitchen gets up there. It's been over 90 in New York for weeks, which I don't think has ever happened in a million years and we're not prepared for this. I'm well equipped for arctic temperatures, but not for this kind of humid heat.

So yeah, I spent like 11 hours on my feet in 100 degree heat with no break. I ate a piece of bread and drank a shit ton of water, and now my feet hurt and I'm hungry.

DRINK!

Cold showers can be your friend.

They are indeed. And I drink like a gallon of water a day when I work, which is like 50 ounces per pound of body weight. I drink water until it is literally too exhausting and time consuming.

Sits in a tub of cold/cool water while reading a book or something, I do that and it feels nice heh.

Really does sound close to my situation, only differences is that I work in a machine shop and I work 13 hour days.
