Kyoko Akane vs Rei Tomizawa

As soon as Kyoko broke the pin, it was a race to get to their feet. Rei grunted as she sprang up and met Kyoko who was already sprinting at her. Seeing her foe run at her, Rei ran at Kyoko meeting her head on. She would meet Kyoko for a full contact tackle instead of running.

At the last moment, Rei would drop down to the side and perform a drop toe hold. Bringing her legs to trip Kyoko up who was already running at fult tilt. She would make Kyoko land straight onto her face. With Kyoko's leg trapped, Rei would pounce forward and interlock her hands together under Kyoko's chin to put Kyoko in an STF submission. She would pull Kyoko's head back while applying pressure to her leg.

In hindsight seeing an opponen charge at her like that should have raised some red flags but even then its not like she could just call it quits on the move just because of that, so she charged in...and hit nothing but air. Insted Rei locked up her legs and pulled her down  to the ground, making her hit it face first, though she only had a brief moment to fell it before she was wrapped up in another hold, an STF.

"Uugghk!" She coughs out as the hands lock around her chin and she starts applying the pressure. Her hands go frantic before locking around Rei's as she tries to break the hands as her best means of escape.

Feeling Kyoko's hands begin to grab at where Rei's hands met, Rei yanked Kyoko's head back harshly, making her neck vulnerable and slid her arm across Kyoko's neck so her hands would have a harder time reaching that link. Methodically, Rei would tightened this hold before bringing her other arm around and into a rear naked choke, or a sleeper hold.She would press the elbow of her other arm like a knife's edge against the back of Kyoko's neck. Rei would bite her bottom lip transforming her STF (Step-over Toehold Facelock) into an STS (Step-over Toehold Sleeper).

"Khhh.... Come on... tap." Rei said through gritted teeth.

She began fighting the hands, as much as she could but Rei seemed determined to end things here as she brought her hands in closer and tighter and began to transition the hold into something else thst would surely lut her down if fully realized, still she wasnt going to go down so easily even though the new hold made breathing difficutly Kyoko fought as hard as she could.

That ening said she was worried abot how much progress she could make just fighting the arms so she began twisting her body around to get a better oostion which proved difficult seeing how she had no real space to breathe. Insteadshe would try and swing her head back and hit Rei's face while elbowing her stomach and fighting the grip by grabbing at the thumb if she could.

When Kyoko fought for a grip like her thumb, she'd no such thing to grab onto. Rei's one hand was pinched between her bicep and her forearm of her other arm and the other was out of her reach behind Kyoko's neck. When Kyoko attempted to throttle her head back, the hand behind Kyoko's neck restrained it but even if she didn't with Rei cranking her head back like she did, there wasn't much further back Kyoko's head could go.

Rei grunted as Kyoko elbowed her stomach but that was all the real resistance, Kyoko could offer up. These attempts to escape were pathetic at best.

"Gomen...Kyoko-chan." Rei said as she applied the choke at full force. "But, this is checkmate."

Rei was still talking but at this point Kyoko wasn't listening much if at all, her own bady mostly in resist mode and self preservation on the brain, she was applying the choke hold pretty well. So Kyoko had really one last tactic, and her own refusal to tap out nrought her up to her next part as she simply brought the hand that was going for a thumb to scoop around her head and pull it up.

This really only served one purpose as she kicked with the one foot Rei didnt have locked in and pushed balancing herself so that she could push Rei on her shoulders once again which might make her let go of the hold to break out since truing the other way would do little for her and much more for Kyoko. If it didnt at least no one could say she wasnt a fighter to the bitter end.

Rei almost felt sorry for Kyoko and was honestly surprised how well she was lasting under the circumstances. With no hands mitigating the choke, with all her flailing and striking back. This wasn't an air choke, it was a blood choke designed to put anyone to sleep in seconds by severing the blood flow from the body to the head. Back in WA, Rei had been put to sleep through this hold many a time by a certain submission specialist.

"Tap... or el-" Rei was cut off but Kyoko's arm came up and tried to fish out her back hand and peel it away from the back of her neck. The Cosplay fighter fought to keep her hand there but out of desperation it seemed Kyoko wasn't going to go down just yet. Before Kyoko could pull it over her head, Rei's fingers clung onto Kyoko's hair in their struggle. Rei grunted as Kyoko rolled her onto her shoulder. She would let go of Kyoko's leg and roll onto her back and wrap her legs around her waist from behind. Breathing hard into Kyoko's ear, she would apply a body scissor as well as her rear naked choke to finish the deal.

"UGhhhhh..." Rei grit her teeth biting down hard as she squeezed with all her limbs and all her strength.

Though stubborness prevailed in this ostance and she kept this particular hold from finishing her off Rei pulled at her hair as she let go and readjusted herself. Kyoko only had a few seconds to actually breath before she was placed in another hold, this time a rear naked chokehold with her waist scissored.

Given her own weakened state she couldnt haul the two of them over to the ropes oe pull her arms apart, though by instinct her a,rs certainlyt tried to do soethin besides tao before eventually the lack of air finished there fight. She still didnt tap but her arms flopped to the ground and her eyes wnet kinda glazed as she neared unconsciousness.

Rei could feel the lactic acid in her arms burn the muscles in her arms as she felt her foe begin to still underneath her. She eyed the ref who stalked over and would look down at Kyoko. As her arms flopped to the ground, Rei hesitated to release her. She held on for another second more before letting Kyoko slip from grasp. She would roll from underneath her and lay side by side, arms spread wide as there wasn't a spot in her body that wasn't leaking sweat. Rei's arms felt numb from squeezing so hard. Rei's lungs were burning so bad it made her vomit.

She looked at her fallen opponent and tried to sit up only to cry out in pain. She cursed as she put a hand on her stomach which was more purple than her hair. She turned to the ref that went to check on Kyoko. She would nudge her arm a few times before standing up straight and waving her arms.

Rei let out a sigh of relief as she laid on her back hearing the bell chime and her music play in the background. Stealing herself, Rei forced herself up, groaning at the pain before walking to Kyoko's side as she lifted the girl's legs with ref trying to revive her. She wanted the blood to flow back freely into her head, she was honestly a little worried she over did it.

"Kyo-chan! Are you okay? Say soemthing!"

Kyoko didnt pass out or at least she didnt think so, she coukd still hear everything happening even if everything else was alittle fuzzy as far as details. Her body was still sore as hell and she could feel the sweat and fatiuge. She didnt regret not tapping, for the simple sake of showing that she never submitted but it still sucked as her her body went virtually lifeless in the ring before she finally got around to getting enough air to talk.

"Ill live..I think." She said slowly making sure her throat was okay as she began to get to her but and try to get to her feet on her own power, though her dizziness and her sore joints made doing so difficult. It sucked to lose but she wasnt going to be a sore loser about it, that just looked bad on her.
