Mai Nagasawa Vs. Samiya Kusanagi

Mai felt them roll over and was about to put some pressure on Samiya when she didn't actually stop upon her cute butt when she completed the roll. Instead, she was continuing to move and her eyes widened. There was pain in her legs, but she growled and shook her head.

Momentum was building between them and Mai continued to struggle. If THAT was how Samiya wanted to play it, then fine. The Mecha-Neko put her effort into continuing to build their momentum and further roll them to the point where they would be at a seven-twenty rotation but this time, Mai wasn't going to stop at all. She could roll all the way to the ropes. That suited her just fine.

And just like that, the law of unintended consequences swung fully into play.

At first, Samiya’s move had its planned effect. Mai had tried to take them over so she could turn the figure four back on her. But Samiya’s added spin was taking them back to the way they’d started. Any second now, she’d be back on her hands and in charge.

Except Mai didn’t let them stop there, she kept them rolling. It kept either woman from really taking the toll of the submission hold but, unless they stopped, one of two options was inevitable. Either they’d stop at the ropes and whoever was on top would have to break the hold or they’d roll right through the ropes and onto the floor.

She liked neither option. Time to try and make a third one.

As she started to come on top again, Samiya did three things. The first, simple but necessary, was to torque her hips against the way Mai was taking them. It was pretty easy for her to counter her own momentum with a shift of her weight and the right technique, the big question was whether she could kill the cat-robot’s. To further aid in that, she’d use one hand to further brace herself against further progress towards the ropes.

Those two things probably wouldn’t be enough, but there was another thing she could try.

With Mai facing down and Samiya facing up, that left one foot trapped under Samiya’s knee and one free. Grabbing at that foot, the Schoolgirl Assassin went to give it a vicious twist in a way nature definitely hadn’t intended. She didn’t have ideal leverage for an ankle lock but she was hoping the sudden pain would distract Mai long enough for her to either do some real damage to those legs or at least let her disengage on her terms.

Mai didn't care whether they had a break or they just flopped out of the ring. She was expecting either result until Samiya began to shift her momentum after one more turn. The Mecha Neko fought against it hard, trying to use their twisting bodies to untangle their legs if she could not keep them rolling. Her mind was racing and her heart was pounding too. She could already feel the beads of sweat along her tightly clad body and huffed involuntarily when she was rolled back onto her chest and stomach, grunting in a rather unladylike fashion as she fought with the schoolgirl.

"Aiiyeee!"

When Mai thought she had loosened the hold enough to pull away, she realized that it was just a transition from one source of pain to another and scratched at the canvas to try and pull herself free from the burning ankle lock.

The Mecha Neko pulled her free foot back, tugging it away from Samiya's supple legs and deadly leg lock and then kicked it straight at the girl. If she wanted to know exactly what it was Samiya was trying to stop, Mai would show her.

The scream was quite satisfying, a promising start to what Samiya intended to be a comprehensive demolition job on those limbs. It didn’t quite turn out that way and she really only had herself to blame when Mai yanked a foot free and booted her with it on very short notice.

Mai’s kick was awkward, didn’t have much room for build-up and was generally not all that impressive as far as kicks went to look at. Given all that, it hurt a surprising amount when her foot caught Samiya in the chest. Those legs of hers were definitely strong, definitely threats that had to be neutralised if she was going to win this. And it pushed her back a bit, but the mecha-neko was still in danger.

While the kick might have got her out of the reverse figure four, Samiya’s hold coming undone when Mai managed to work her leg free, she was in danger of putting herself right back into the frying pan. Despite the sting where the boot to the chest had landed, the submission specialist instantly grabbed at Mai’s leg before she could retract it.

Falling back, she’d go to scissor her own strong legs around it to immobilise the limb, her arms locking around the ankle and yanking it against her chest with the foot under her head. Unless Mai was pretty quick, she’d find herself trapped in a kneebar executed with smooth practiced efficiency.

”Let’s see if the fans still cheer a three-legged cat,” She hissed, going to hyperextend that leg joint.

Of course, all the rolling had taken them close enough to the ropes that she’d probably be able to drag them over but the more damage Samiya could throw at her legs the more would stick.

Mai was satisfied when her boot mashed deeply into Samiya's rather ample chest. Even if it wasn't necessarily her most favorite place to attack, but she didn't exactly have time to line up a perfect shot. She just needed to deal damage and get out of her predicament. Unfortunately, when she tried to pull away, she felt her licking leg being grabbed.

"Shimata..." Mai growled to herself, hoping that no one heard the lovely idol curse. Now wasn't the time for that though. Mai had probably fought tougher opponents, if she had the time to think about it, but she had not been pressured and smothered so much in such a short time before. She needed to get some distance from Samiya somehow.

So, when she felt the girl go doe another leg submission, Mai dug her gloved fingers into the canvas and flung herself at the ropes, extending her rams as far as she could and grabbing tightly onto the rope and holding onto it desperately.

The referee was quick to call break, but Mai held on tightly, as if it was all that mattered in the world. Until Samiya let her go, she was going to hold on.

Though she didn’t catch the curse, Samiya was still very satisfied with how that turned out. Admittedly, Mai did go straight for the ropes but she still had a chance to make this worth it and rub her dominance in the match so far home properly.

So she locked in the kneebar anyway. She didn’t get it for long before Mai was at the ropes and the referee was in her face, demanding she break the hold. When she didn’t comply, the ref started to count.

Of course.

Samiya did her best to milk every second of the count for all it was worth. She yanked back and arched her hips, doing her best to wreck that knee as best she could. She also twisted the foot as best her grip would allow, looking to keep on battering that ankle. It might only be a five count, but she could make that four and half seconds feel longer if she tried.

Right before the ref would have been forced to disqualify her, the Schoolgirl Assassin finally released her hold and pulled back. Rolling back on her hands, she pulled a showy kip-up back to her feet and paused for a moment to pose for the fans with a smirk. The referee wouldn’t let her go for Mai as long as Mai was in the ropes, so she had to wait for her opponent to get back up basically.

So might as well make a point while she waited, then see how much damage she’d done to Mai’s leg.

Mai had reached the ropes but the pain didn't stop. She couldn't say she was surprised, but that didn't make it any less horrifying to endure. She screeched and slapped the canvas with her free fist until she was finally let go. Now she would have a few seconds to get back up, to what? Get put in another submission?

Mai panted when she was released, but she rolled out of the ring instead of standing up and backed away to the barricade. Her tightly clad chest heaved and she stared at Samiya as she was hunched over. She could feel the sting in her legs, but she had to fight through it. The match had already barely begun and she felt like she had run a marathon!
